Zane looked at the map in his hand and said in a serious voice not suiting his 16 year old face.
He was standing outside the airport and people were looking at him with a smile on their, To them he looked like a kid who was planning to go out alone for the first time in his life.
A passerby lady came up to him with a smile on her face and asks with a kind voice, "Can I help you? Is this your first time travelling? Do you know where to go?"
Zane looked at her with a puzzled face and asked with a shocked voice, "How did you know it's my first time travelling alone?"
"Oh you looked so serious that looked very cute so I knew you were travelling for the first time"
"I see. Ah yes can you tell me how long does the plane take to reach Kalos from here? The regions looks so far apart but I need the approximate time" Zane ask the lady and the lady just laughed and replied, " Hmm it seems you are quite eager. From Here it will take atleast three days to reach Kalos with a plane"
"I see thank you ma'am" Zane thanked the lady and she left and entered the airport.
"Hmm It seems the plane will take a lot of time so I shouldn't go through plane. Maybe I should use flygon? Yea maybe i should. Wait I can't just go empty handed can I? She should be around 17-18 this year. I should prepare a beautiful present for her" Zane took out a pokeball from his back and threw the ball.
Outside the airport, Zane released flygon and sat on top of him and stroke his head, "Flygon ready to fly? It's gonna be a long journey but first We should visit the famous Veilstone city and prepare a present for her. Would she like gems or plushies? Whatever we will just buy both of them. Let's go flygon! Use Fly! ". Flygon happily nodded and both of them flew off, leaving the crowd stupefied.
Scene change to Vaniville Town
" Mooom! I don't want to become a rhyhorn racer!!" Serena lazily gets off the Rhyhorn and looks at her mom with frustration.
Her mother approached her with a towel in her hand and gave it to her to clean the sweats clinging on after the practice, "Ho? And what do you plan to do? Do you even have any plans for the future or are you going to just lie around the house?".
Serena looked at her mother with a pout, "I will think about it but I don't! Want to be a Rhyhorn racer. Hmph I am going inside I hate being all sweaty" Serena grumbles in a soft voice and enters the house.
'Hmm but what should I really do? I don't even have any idea on what to do. God above please give me a hint.'
Inside the house, She was walking toward her room when she heard the TV from the living room which was still on and was currently airing the previous year, Vertress Conference, which she had missed due to participating in a rhyhorn race.
She was going to ignore it but still gave a glance to the tv, she suddenly stopped and she walked toward the tv.
Inside the tv a news reporter was interviewing a boy with pikachu and asked, "So, Ash how confident are you on your chances to win?".
"I really want to win and my partner will help me win. Right Pikachu?" Ash looked at his partner Pikachu who gave a peace sign to the camera.
The news reporter let out a delightful laugh and asked again, " Ash are you planning to continue your journey after the Vertress Conference? If yes then where are you planning to go?".
Ash's confident face formed a smile as he said, "No my journey will only end after I become a Pokemon Master, so until then I will keep training to be better than everyone! And after Unova, next year I will go to Kalos".
Serena looked at the confident smile on the boy's face. She remembered the day where she was saved by the boy, who would always smile without any fakeness.
She looked outside the window in the clear skies where pokemon were flying, "Is this your hint? A pokemon master huh? A nice dream, Maybe I should".
A smile formed on Serena's face, " Yeah thank you, I am going to be a trainer. I want to see what is so fascinating about becoming a pokemon master".
Scene shift to Lumiose city
Outside the Lumiose's city airport, Ash ran out of the airport with Pikachu on his shoulder.
In front of him, was the famous Lumiose city, known for it's famous prism tower and beautiful cafes.
Ash looks at his partner with a smile and clenched his fist as he says in a cheerful voice, "Are you ready for our new journey Pikachu? This time we will win!"
