Chapter 45 - 3 Faction

One month later.

Today was meeting time.

I was sitting at a table.

Serafall was sitting next to me and looked especially serious.

Behind me were the girls—all ready for a possible fight.

The meeting was being held in the Underworld: "Ah, Cassien, I haven't seen you since the Kuroka incident. But it looks like the exhaustion on your face is gone."

"We are busy making kittens nya-" said kuroka

Sirzechs patted my back: "Since he's been banned from being a lawyer for 3 years, he's more relaxed. I always told him to become a judge, but he refuses."

"Judges look down from above when giving verdicts. I chose to stand with them in front of the judge as a lawyer."

A flash appeared from there, and Michael arrived.

Behind him was an angel—Gabriel…

Michael's eyes lingered on me for a while: "You're the last remaining Judex, aren't you… Your ancestor was a very good man. I still remember when he defended Lucifer against God."

A girl hugged me: "Ah, Judex's grandson? He looks so cute…" Gabriel had hugged me and was stroking my hair.

She smelled really good, but she could probably blow my head off.

"Gabriel, even if he's Judex, God exiled him. Go back and let's start the meeting," said Michael.

She puffed her cheeks and went behind Michael.

Azazel got to the point: "It's very strange that the devils suddenly want to make a peace agreement. Is there a reason?"

"That's because we figured out Rizevim Livan Lucifer's plans. Did you watch Cassien's fight with Nyx?" said Sirzechs.

Michael nodded: "That fight was very violent, and even Great Red had to intervene. So what happened?"

Serafall smiled this time: "They were hiding a real Leviathan girl there—she has sacred gear Nereid Kyrie. They also wanted to take Sephiroth Graal from a person named Valerie Tepes. What do you think they're trying to do?"

Azazel stood up: "FUCK!! THEY WANT TO REVIVE THE EVIL DRAGONS AND CONTROL THEM!"

Valerie and Ingvild stepped forward and revealed themselves.

It was better for them to know they were with us.

"Yes, they want to control those dragons, and the person behind this is Rizevim. I was able to save these girls by chance. I've been investigating him ever since my father was killed by Rizevim… I want to destroy him together and stop the possible chaos." I stated the obvious.

Michael rested his chin on his hand: "But why would he do this without any benefit? Do you have an answer to that?"

"Because he believes devils must be absolute evil. Trust me—if Great Red wasn't there, he would have destroyed the world himself. Right now, terrorist groups are harassing and disturbing the gods. This is just a distraction." At least this was the reasonable argument I could give them.

Most of them had already fallen silent: "Khaos Brigade and Hero Faction—the activities of these two terrorist groups are still low-key. Right now, they're causing trouble in the Hindu pantheon. If they really have plans this big, they need to be stopped," Azazel spoke openly.

Michael seemed to agree: "But even so, there will be those in our factions who won't like the agreement."

Gabriel smiled: "Then we'll judge them. It would be better for all of us to maintain peace."

But I raised my hand: "By the way, I want permission to kill Samael."

"WHAT!!! ARE YOU CRAZY!!" Serafall shouted at me.

The others also narrowed their eyes: "Samael… fallen angel dragon hybrid. Not in either group. The reason is to prevent the possible Samael's support, right? I almost forgot he even existed," said Azazel.

"This can be done… but still be careful against Samael's poison. I can understand that… We'll handle the consequences that come from this. We can provide full support," said Michael.

I rested my chin on my hand: "Azazel, I'll ask you for a few things, and it will help you too."

"Hmm, what is it?"

"Be careful with Kokabiel. He's trying to start a war," I said.

Azazel sighed: "I was already watching that guy. I'll investigate again and thank you for telling me. I'll provide the necessary full support—after all, we're friends, aren't we?"

Sirzechs smiled: "First time I'm hearing that, but since the agreement is made anyway, it doesn't matter."

We stood up and shook hands.

Before leaving, Sirzechs whispered something in my ear, and the agreement was successfully made.

Samael was already a headache for them, and his existence could even be forgotten.

Mentioning him would draw attention to him.

There's a chance they won't believe what I said about Rizevim, but they'll investigate, and with the three factions uniting, the power scale of our society will increase.

That way, we wouldn't lack either resources or numbers.

Agreements with other factions can also be made.
