Chapter 50 - Gabriel-Lavinia Pov

Gabriel POV

Kokabiel threw a light spear at me, and I caught it with my hand.

The spear shattered in my grip as if it never existed.

This… we used to be able to understand each other in front of God.

Why this hostility?

Why so much rage?

"DIE!!" Kokabiel swung his spear, but I met every strike with my own.

I spun the spear around me and struck the blunt end against his head.

His teeth flew into the air: "YOU BASTARD!!! I'VE ALWAYS HATED YOU!!"

Countless spears and swords of light appeared around him and fired toward me.

I spun my spear again.

Every attack was blocked.

There was a reason they called me Heaven Havoc.

But he appeared behind me. I

had already pointed my finger at him: "Kokabiel, what a shame."

BOOOOOOOOOO

A light laser pierced through Kokabiel's guts.

Blood poured from his mouth.

Blood even streamed from his eyes: "Hehehehehe…"

He was laughing.

I was ready to forgive him and invite him back to the right path.

Mercy—everyone deserves some form of mercy in a way.

"Sis, I hate you because you're too kind, because you're too perfect. You're everything I could never be. You and Michael… why? Why were you the favored children while I was left in the shadows?"

I held his cheeks and looked into his face: "Kokabiel, calm down. Don't cause trouble for peace. I promise I won't kill you."

"Too late," said Kokabiel.

I saw a dagger coming toward me in his hand.

I-I wanted to save him, but it didn't work… There's only one thing left to do.

A small orb of energy formed on my finger and struck Kokabiel.

His eyes widened as he turned to dust.

"fuck you..."

This was his final words...

The only merciful path left was death through mercy, ah…

Anyway, let's continue.

I could see Samael fighting Venelana and Cassien over there.

Their attacks were shaking the sky.

A sword-wielding man lunged at me, but I grabbed his head and crushed it completely…

What a shame.

At least these souls can find peace in death…

Lavinia POV

Valerie was handling the magicians.

Grayfia and I stood back-to-back: "Use that attack of yours," Grayfia said to me.

I sighed and closed my eyes.

Above me, a doll appeared holding an hourglass.

Then time seemed to freeze.

I moved from my position and slowly touched the enemies with my finger.

It was consuming a lot of energy, but Cassien had told me it was possible.

When it ended, time resumed, but a little blood trickled from my mouth.

Every enemy I touched became snow.

At least 100 swordsmen and magicians died in this attack

Grayfia appeared in front of me and handed me a vial: "Phenex Tear. This will be enough to heal you."

I took it and drank it in one gulp.

I felt better.

Their numbers didn't seem to end, and the bastards kept coming endlessly.

I saw Valerie ripping someone's heart out with her hand like a maniac.

I've always loved that girl.

I kept my focus on the enemy and again began to kill.

I kept fighting because this way, my help to Cassien would be greater.
