"Jennifer…" Arnie looked at the junior he had recruited, who turned out to be a spy all this time. "You…"
"That's my contingency plan. You've been checkmated, adjudicator. I know how good you are. That's why the moment you take on that job, I want someone to give me the information from the inside."
"To think you would be working for them. For money?" Arnie chuckled.
Jennifer only said, "You are a very experienced senior. It's a shame that I can't learn from the best anymore."
She didn't answer his question. She simply bid her farewell.
"What does it feel like to be betrayed by the person you trusted, adjudicator? I used to trust the government until they chose to turn a blind eye simply because someone was wealthier than I was. Now, you get to feel the betrayal." The Director was laughing.
Arnie could waste some time, but he really needed to finish everything up quickly.
