Somewhere in Fontaine was a young woman dancing in an empty theater by herself.
Then, without her realising a tall man with black wings appeared, sitting in one of the empty seats and watching the young woman dance.
After a few minutes she stopped and turned to look at the empty theater, only to freeze when her gaze landed on the man sitting in a seat.
Eldrin was looking directly at her eyes as if he was seeing her soul and heart,and he was,he then smiled gently and said.
"You have a heart made out of the purest gold, and a willpower just as pure. People like you are the reason as to why I still have hope in humanity,humans can be both angels and demons"and continued with smile that seemed more sad than happy
"Though I meet demons much more often, unfortunately"
Furina was touched by the compliment, but still vigilantly asked the strange unfamiliar man.
"And who might you be?"
"You may call me Eldrin. My purpose for coming here is to take that mask of yours off and bestow you a curse or blessing, depending on how you view power."
Furina was confused and worried.
"Mask?,Wait, does he know? thought Furina in worry and said.
"What mask are you speaking of?"
Eldrin looked at Furnina and answered.
"The mask that one has to wear when needing to act like a god,to save her people from a curse they did not deserve"Eldrin then took out a vial and asked the shocked Furina.
"Will you accept both the responsibility and the power that will come from taking this vial?"
Furina looked at the vial in Eldrin's hand with suspicion,but before it could grow bigger Eldrin injected it into an animal he caught before coming here.
He did not say a word; he did not need to. Furina was smart enough to roughly understand what the vial did after seeing the remarkably stable and even more intelligent animal.
Eldrin put the vial beside his seat and said while disappearing.
"There is no wrong choice, whether you accept it or not, I will make sure the curse of your people is lifted. Farewell for now."
Furina looked at the vial beside Eldrin's now-empty seat, thoughtful, and after a few minutes, she walked towards the vial grabbing it and injecting it into her arm.
And after a few minutes of agonizing pain she rose from the ground with a newfound might and power she could never have imagined ever having.
Due to her being cursed with immortality by Focalors,the evolution serum transformed her into a half-hydro spirit and half-human hybrid, now possessing the capability to command the hydro element and also turn her body into hydro itself, making her essentially invincible and unkillable.
Before a beautiful sakura tree was a man with black wings standing there with his arms behind his back.
"I must say that black magic is way too handy; resurrecting the dead should be something almost impossible, yet here I am about to resurrect an Archon," thought Eldrin as he raised both his hands, creating a vessel from solid shadows and infusing it with some of his infinite life force to give it the capability to hold life, and with the other hand manipulating Makoto's soul putting it in the vessel.
"Apologies"said Eldrin as he took an evolution serum and injected it to further strengthen the vessel, allowing it to rapidly adapt to Makoto's divine nature.
And while holding the now alive and unconscious Makoto, he teleported inside Raiden's chamber.
Raiden's eyes instantly opened wide.
"This presence!,it can't be!"thought Raiden shocked and muttered.
"Makoto?"
But then she saw the unknown man and instantly drew her sword about to attack.
"No need for vigilance, now take your sister,it will take a while for her to get used to being alive"said Eldrin and took a vial and injected it into another animal that he caught, after all, the greatest proof is to show rather than tell.
He then took another one and put it on the ground and said.
"If you inject this, you will gain power,your erosion will be cured for a couple of centuries,that will be all"and then the man disappeared. Honestly,the man was mentally exhausted which is why he was in such a hurry.
Even he has to rest once in a while
Raiden was confused, stupefied to the point where her brain short-circuited, with a kind of face that says.
"The fuck just happened?!"
In the sky figure with black wings could be seen flying.
"I will sent shadow clones for the other Archons,in the meantime I will prepare myself for the incoming war"thought Eldrin as he headed towards a distant mountain.
In an underground base were two figures, it was Erskine and The Ancient one.
The Ancient seemed to have opened a portal bellow an object that looked like a bomb.
"That's the last one"said Erskine to the Ancient one.
The Ancient one took another look at the mirror dimension that had thousand of those bombs ready to detonate at any time and smiled deviously.
"We are definitely going to hell after this."
Erskine shrugged and said.
"Look at the bright side, at least we will have some company."
The ancient one asked curiously.
"Have you found a use for those Artifacts they call visions?"
"Have you read Chinese cultivation novels?"asked Erskine
The Ancient one couldn't help but massage her temples, already knowing what Erskine was trying to imply and said.
"Erskine, we are better than this,do not bring cultivation to this world for the love of god"but it was futile, and she knew.
"Theoretically, with the help of surgery and the evolution serum, we can directly fuse the gem to the human body, allowing it to act similarly to the so-called golden core of those cultivators, over time, due to the fused vision, the user's body will be strengthened by the elements and after a certain stage, possibly becoming immune to them or at least highly resistant" explained Erskine and added.
"There's also a chance of them eventually evolving into something akin to elemental spirits, giving them great strength and control over their respective element."
