Inside a small spaceship were one hundred Spartans wearing their armour. The atmosphere was tense. Suddenly, a Spartan's deep voice broke the silence.
"We are almost there. Prepare yourselves, I will repeat the plan again. The Astartes will momentarily create a gap in the force field via telekinesis. We will take that short opportunity to infiltrate the enemy spaceship and plant the tesseract-powered bomb,and then we will escape."
All the Spartans nodded.
The spaceship's hatch opened, revealing the deep space. Thanks to the spaceship's advanced cloaking technology, they remained undetected,and below them was their target.
The Spartan spoke again his voice firm and urgent.
"The gap has been opened, we move now!" he jumped into the deep space and used his armour propulsion to rapidly enter the gap in the forcefield,and the rest of the Spartans followed right after him.
30 Spartans took out their special plasma swords and started cutting the metal roof of the spaceship with practised efficiency. It took around 15 minutes to cut a large enough hole,the Spartans, one by one jumped inside while activating their armour's cloaking mode, becoming invisible.
After all one hundred Spartans landed inside, they looked around, scanning their surroundings for any immediate danger; their helmets allowed them to detect each other via heat signatures. The Spartan captain raised his hand to catch the attention of the rest of the Spartans,and he pointed in a certain direction.
Growl!
They were apparently inside some sort of storage room, but that was not the problem. Inside the gigantic storage room, there were hundreds of giant armoured beasts seemingly sleeping; they resembled whales in shape. The difference was that they were much bigger and armoured.
The Spartan captain put his armoured finger close to his mouth, gesturing for the Spartans to remain absolutely silent. The Spartan captain looked around until he spotted a gate and gestured for the Spartans to follow him.
SNIFF! SNIFF!
The Spartans, including the Spartan captain, froze and looked back to see one of those beasts sniffing around, it then turned towards their direction.
"Shit!" muttered the Spartan captain as he gestured for the Spartans to start sprinting towards the gate.
ROAR!
The giant beast roared and started flying towards the invisible Spartans. Its roaring also woke up the rest of the beasts, which proceeded to also start chasing the Spartans, but thankfully, the Spartans were fast, having already reached the gate.
The Spartan captain spoke in urgency.
"We will cut a hole in the gate, you cover for us, use tesseract-powered weapons!"
70 Spartans got into a formation and started shooting at the incoming beasts, while the other 30 started cutting a hole with their plasma swords, but it took too long.
Tch! The Spartan captain, annoyed, started shooting at the gate with a tesseract-powered bazooka, disintegrating it.
"Run now!" he shouted at all the Spartans, and they started sprinting into the ship's giant hall,but unfortunately for them, it was full of Chitauri.
"Switch to arc-powered weapons, fire at will!" the Spartan captain gave the order,the Chitauri already started firing at the Spartans, but thankfully, they had arc-powered force fields. The Spartans started shooting back, eliminating the Chitauri rapidly,but there were just too many of them, causing the Spartans to start getting overwhelmed.
The Spartan captain looked around,he knew it was over for them, but he could not fail his mission; he had to plant the bomb and destroy the spaceship,he took out the tesseract bomb, and just as he was about to activate it.
BAAAAM!
Something dented the ceiling of the spaceship, and the Chitauri, including the Spartans, looked up.
BAAAAM!
THUD!
The metal ceiling broke, and two 8-foot-tall armoured figures landed on the metal ground, denting the metal floor,the atmosphere grew tense, but the Spartans were filled with joy.
The two Astartes released two powerful telekinetic shock waves sending hundreds of Chitauri flying. Then, one Astartes used his telekinesis to lift all the Spartans off the ground taking them outside the spaceship, while the other one grabbed the tesseract-powered bomb and planted it. One of those giant whale-like beasts spotted the lone Astartes and flew towards him, rapidly closing the distance.
The Astartes turned around calmly and threw a powerful punch directly at the creature's face.
BAAAAAAM!
The charging giant creature was stopped in its tracks, the Astartes punch denting its armoured face and knocking it out.
The Astartes then flew out of the spaceship like nothing had even happened.
After three minutes.
BOOOOOOOOM!
The spaceship was destroyed from the inside, leaving nothing at all. The tesseract-powered bomb may have a shorter range than an atomic bomb, but its capability for destruction was way higher, disintegrating everything in its range.
Hundreds of thousands of enemy spaceships were infiltrated and destroyed in a similar fashion, though they were casualties among the Spartans.
This war was a tough one, had it not been for the Ancient One, Eldrin, Erskine and Sebastian, victory would be uncertain. But one thing is for certain: humanity shall resist; it will not yield or surrender before overwhelming power; instead, it will adapt and overcome it.
One hour later.
The human forces had received a direct order to temporarily retreat. The mother ship of the human empire is about to unleash a powerful attack.
On top of the human empire's mothership, the giant laser cannon powered by the Power Stone started glowing purple, and in just a mere moment, another six hundred thousand enemy spaceships were destroyed.
On the front lines, a lone figure was sending slashes made of darkness tirelessly.
He then spoke telepathically.
"Sebastian, could you cover me for a bit?"
After a few seconds, Sebastian answered.
"Of course my liege, are you about to use that?"
Eldrin sighed and said.
"Yes, there are just too many of them. I might as well take this short opportunity to use my strongest attack and take out their mothership, which may disorganise them for a bit."
Eldrin turned to look at the distant gigantic mothership, almost as big as the sanctuary.
