The canyon was silent. Dust slowly settled across the battlefield. The gigantic body of the Stone Ogre Tyrant lay collapsed on the ground. Cracks covered its massive stone armor. Kai Draven stood in front of it, breathing slowly. Behind him, the Shadow Warlord and Shadow Hound Alpha waited silently. Kai looked down at the defeated boss. The system window appeared again.

Kai smiled slightly. "A boss-level shadow… That will be useful." He placed his hand on the monster's chest. "...Devour." Dark tendrils erupted from Kai's shadow. They spread across the Tyrant's massive body like living darkness. The stone armor cracked apart. The entire corpse dissolved into black energy. Power surged violently into Kai. The system messages appeared rapidly.

Kai clenched his fists. The energy inside him felt much stronger than before. Then another message appeared.

Kai looked at the dark shadow left behind on the ground. It was enormous. Far larger than his other soldiers. Kai raised his hand. "...Rise." The shadow began to move. Dark energy gathered across the canyon floor. The massive shadow slowly rose upward. Stone fragments dissolved into darkness. Then the giant monster appeared again. But now its body was made of pure shadow. Purple flames burned inside its eyes. The creature slowly knelt before Kai. The ground trembled as it lowered its head.

Kai looked up at the massive shadow soldier. It was even larger than the Shadow Warlord. The new soldier waited silently for orders. Kai nodded. "Stand." The Shadow Tyrant rose to its full height. Its giant shadow body towered over the canyon. Now Kai had three shadow soldiers:

Kai looked at the three massive shadows behind him. Walking out of the dungeon with them would cause chaos. Kai spoke calmly. "Shadow Storage." The ground beneath him rippled like dark water. One by one, the shadow soldiers sank into his shadow. First the Shadow Warlord. Then the Shadow Hound Alpha. Finally, the massive Shadow Tyrant. Within seconds, they all disappeared. Now they rested inside Kai's hidden shadow space.
Kai turned toward the dungeon exit. The B-Rank dungeon was cleared. And his power had grown again. But this was only the beginning. Because the deeper Kai explored the abyss… the stronger he would become.

The cold mountain wind blew across the valley. The glowing dungeon gate had already disappeared. The B-Rank dungeon was officially cleared.
Kai Draven stepped out of the underground tunnel and walked toward the temporary command center set up by the Hunter Association. Several staff members were waiting outside. Their expressions were tense.
One of the analysts quickly checked the mana tracker Kai had been carrying. His eyes widened.
"T-This can't be right…"
The energy readings were far higher than expected. Before the staff could say anything else—A calm voice interrupted.
"Give me the report." Director Han walked into the room. The staff immediately stood straight.
"Director."
The analyst handed him the tablet. Han read the data silently. Then he looked at Kai.
"You cleared the dungeon alone."
Kai shrugged slightly.
"Yes."
Han glanced back at the screen. Six Stone Ogres. One Stone Ogre Tyrant boss. All defeated within a short time. The report was unbelievable. Han quietly handed the tablet back.
"Erase the detailed combat data."
The staff froze.
"Director…?"
Han repeated calmly.
"Erase it."
The analyst hesitated for a moment but obeyed. Within seconds, most of the data disappeared from the system. Only a simple message remained. Dungeon Cleared — Hunter Team: Confidential
Kai raised an eyebrow.
"You're hiding it?"
Han looked at him seriously.
"If the world learns that an unranked hunter cleared a B-Rank dungeon alone…"
"…you'll become the center of attention."
Kai didn't respond. Han continued.
"Guilds will chase you."
"Governments will investigate you."
"Enemies will appear."
He paused.
"And you're not ready for that yet."
Kai understood immediately. Director Han wasn't suppressing him. He was protecting him. Han crossed his arms.
"For now, your information will remain confidential within the association."
Kai nodded slowly.
"That works for me."
Because Kai had no interest in fame. What he wanted… was power.
Han led Kai into a small private office inside the command center. Only the two of them were inside. Han turned on a holographic screen. Several dungeon gates appeared across the map. Red markers glowed in different locations.
"These are restricted gates discovered by the association."
Kai studied the map.
"Why haven't they been cleared?"
Han replied calmly.
"Some are unstable."
"Some are politically sensitive."
"And some…"
"are simply too dangerous."
He zoomed in on several locations.
"These will be your training grounds."
Kai understood immediately. Secret dungeons. Hidden from the public. Perfect hunting grounds. Han looked directly at him.
"For the next few months, you will focus on one thing."
"Growth."
"No public raids."
"No guild involvement."
"Only controlled dungeon hunts."
Kai smiled slightly.
"That's exactly what I wanted."

As they spoke, something stirred quietly beneath Kai's feet. Inside his Shadow Storage. Three massive figures waited.

His shadow army was growing. And the space inside the shadow dimension had become larger after the recent upgrade. Kai could already feel it. The abyss inside him was slowly expanding. Hungry for more monsters. More power.

"This is your next target."
Kai looked at the information.

Han spoke calmly.
"This dungeon is stronger than the previous one."
Kai nodded.
"Good."
Han turned off the screen.

Kai walked toward the door. His eyes showed quiet excitement. Because the stronger the dungeon… the stronger his shadow army would become.
Before leaving, Han spoke again.
"Kai."
Kai stopped. Han's voice was serious.
"Be careful."
"Power attracts attention."
Kai smiled faintly.
"I know."
Then he left the command center. Outside, the night sky stretched across the mountains. Kai looked at the stars. Inside his mind, the system appeared again.
