Chapter 32 - Chapter 32: New Items in the Shop

Leaving the reception room and passing through the corridor, Shinji arrived in the courtyard.

Uchiha Mikoto was hanging laundry, dressed in a simple, deep purple short jacket paired with a plum-red long skirt, looking gentle and elegant.

Beside her, a small figure was obediently handing her clothes.

"Thank you, Itachi." Mikoto gently ruffled Itachi Uchiha's hair. "Itachi will surely become a remarkable adult in the future."

Itachi Uchiha's lips curled slightly upward, clearly happy, though his expression remained almost unchanged.

Hearing this, Shinji silently grumbled to himself.

Itachi Uchiha would indeed become "remarkable" in the future.

"Hmm?"

Itachi was the first to notice Shinji and quickly bowed respectfully. "Senior Shinji. Have you finished speaking with Father?"

As the son of the Uchiha clan head, he naturally recognized the highly regarded Uchiha Shinji.

"Yes, I just finished speaking with the clan head." Shinji smiled in response, then nodded slightly toward Mikoto. "I'll take my leave now, Lady Mikoto."

Uchiha Mikoto paused her work and said gently, "Alright, feel free to visit our home whenever you have time."

"I hope you can get closer to Itachi and give him some guidance."

Mikoto naturally remembered this young man, but now, seeing him again, he was no longer the same as before.

For such an outstanding young person in the clan, she was more than happy for her son to spend time with him.

Just like Shisui and Itachi, who had always gotten along well.

Itachi blinked, the distinctive tear troughs on his face giving him a maturity beyond his years.

Shinji's expression stiffened slightly, his smile a bit forced. "No problem. Itachi will definitely surpass me in the future. If there's an opportunity now, I'd be happy to teach him a few things."

Itachi's eyes immediately lit up with delight. "Senior Shinji, I will visit you!"

Shinji narrowed his eyes, wearing a friendly and amiable smile, though he had already made up his mind:

When you actually come, I'll fill your head with all sorts of ideas and completely lead you astray.

...

Speaking of which, it was a new week again, so the item shop should have refreshed.

Shinji left the Fugaku residence and returned directly home. Sitting on the sofa, he suddenly remembered something and, with a thought, switched the interface and opened the shop page.

"The shop didn't have anything decent in the past two weeks."

"I hope this time, there will be something truly useful."

Sure enough.

As soon as the interface opened, seven brand-new items were neatly displayed on the panel:

[Ninjutsu/Taijutsu/Genjutsu Training Acceleration Card (7 days): 600 Points]

[Character Detector (Daily Purchase Limit: 1): 500 Points]

[Orochimaru's Secret Medicine Formula: 30,000 Points]

[Chiyo's Medical Notes (Volume 1): 32,000 Points]

[Solar Fist (Consumable): 20,000 Points]

[Ichiraku Ramen Voucher (Consumable): 300 Points]

"Orochimaru's secret medicine formula appeared again!"

Shinji rubbed his chin, pondering for a moment, and didn't hesitate much.

The last time he saw this item was on the battlefield, when he didn't have enough points and could only watch it slip away.

He glanced at his personal panel.

[Points: 151,400]

Buying this formula was more than enough.

Without further thought, Shinji focused his intent and clicked to confirm the purchase. Thirty thousand points were instantly deducted.

The next second, Orochimaru's secret medicine formula quietly appeared in his inventory.

He chose to retrieve it, and a yellowed piece of paper materialized on the table.

Shinji picked up the formula and examined it closely.

"Dragon Gum Grass, White Scale Snake Slough, Damp Shadow Fungus Sclerotium, Thunder Bug Powder... Preparation steps..."

Reading line by line, he felt a headache coming on.

The recorded ingredients and procedures were obscure and complex. With his shallow foundation in medical ninjutsu, he couldn't make heads or tails of it.

"I'll ask Rin for help later."

He carefully stored the formula and continued browsing the shop items.

The training acceleration cards and character detector were must-buys. Beyond that, his gaze lingered on another item.

Shinji opened the description for Chiyo's Medical Notes.

[Chiyo's Medical Notes (Volume 1)]

[Type: Book]

[Description: This is an old, sand-styled parchment scroll from the Hidden Sand Village. It contains practical battlefield insights, ranging from simple stopping bleeding and low-cost healing methods to the identification and countermeasures for various poisons in the ninja world.]

[Note: If there's Volume 1, there must be Volumes 2 and 3! To find out what happens next, stay tuned for the next update!]

Chiyo of the Hidden Sand Village was not only a master of puppetry but also one of the top medical ninjas and poison experts in the ninja world. In terms of medical expertise, she was likely second only to Tsunade.

The value of her notes was self-evident.

"This will definitely be a huge help in learning medical ninjutsu."

Shinji's eyes brightened, and he spent another 12,000 points to purchase this volume of notes.

He opened the system again and checked the personal panel on the left.

...

Looking at his personal data, Shinji felt particularly pleased.

He had grown stronger!

The awakening of the Three-Tomoe Sharingan had steadily increased his total chakra.

More importantly, unlike Kakashi, he didn't need to constantly maintain the Sharingan, so his chakra consumption was almost negligible.

After days of continuous training, his proficiency in ninjutsu, genjutsu, and taijutsu had steadily improved.

The only thing troubling Shinji was one of his bound targets.

"It's a shame I still haven't unlocked the first stage for Minato Namikaze. I haven't seen him in days."

"No wonder his conquest difficulty is marked as 'Extremely Hard.'"

"How am I supposed to conquer him?!"

Shinji muttered softly, rubbing his temples in frustration.

His points were currently in an awkward spot—far from enough to unlock the Mangekyō Sharingan, but using them to upgrade skill proficiency felt like a waste.

With his current strength, he was more than capable of handling average Chunin and even some Jonin.

Skill levels could be improved gradually through training; there was no need to rush and forcefully boost them with points.

Saving the points would allow him to use them for more critical purposes later.

"It seems I'll have to stick to the plan and gather information on the Naka Shrine first."

Having made up his mind, Shinji immediately sprang into action.

He stood up and walked into the bedroom on the second floor, opening the wardrobe and taking out a blue-gray, form-fitting stealth suit.

Wearing this suit, his movements produced almost no friction noise, making it perfect for covert reconnaissance.

After changing, he was about to leave.

Just as he touched the doorknob at the entrance, Shinji paused.

"Right, I almost forgot this."

He chuckled inwardly and quickly formed hand signs.

A faint glow instantly enveloped his body, causing his figure to fade and turn transparent, completely disappearing into the air.

The doorknob turned gently, the door opening silently a crack before slowly closing again.

The entire process was quiet, as if no one had ever come or gone.

Shinji had used Transparent Escape to conceal himself.

Although this Kekkei Genkai had little offensive power, its effectiveness in stealth and concealment was nearly perfect.

Three days later.

Shinji carefully hid thirty meters away from the Naka Shrine, undetected by anyone.

Luck was on his side—not a single clansman with activated Sharingan scanning the area appeared.

After three days of covert observation, he had gathered all the necessary information.

Now, it was time to act.
