Chapter 26 - Ch25:New world

Chapter 25: New World

Alicia slowly regained awareness.

At first, she felt only silence.

Then—

warmth.

Not physical warmth.

Not the kind she remembered from having an actual human body.

This was something much stranger.

Much deeper.

It was the feeling of an entire world breathing.

Alicia stayed still for a while, quietly sensing everything around her.

Then she realized something immediately.

Her planet had changed.

Not just a little.

Not just in size.

It had changed in a far more fundamental way.

The forests felt deeper.

The rivers flowed with greater natural harmony.

The plains carried a steadier pulse of Life Energy.

The highlands no longer felt merely rugged and dry, but spiritually rooted, as if even the harsher parts of the world had gained a stronger sense of identity.

And the atmosphere—

that was different too.

The entire planet now felt more… complete.

Alicia remained silent for a long moment.

Then she thought:

"…Okay."

"This is definitely not just a bigger version of before."

That was the first thing she understood.

Becoming a Primitive Planet was not simply a matter of having more land.

It was a qualitative change.

A realm shift.

A real evolution of the world itself.

A blue light appeared before her.

Ding!

The system interface unfolded once more.

[Advancement Successful]

The host has successfully advanced to: Primitive Planet

Changes Applied:

Planetary foundation strengthened

Energy circulation efficiency increased

Environmental self-regulation improved

Soul Power compatibility enhanced

Planetary life nurturing potential increased

New Realm Effects Unlocked

Higher natural growth ceiling

Increased environmental adaptability

Greater race development potential

Improved future law integration

Alicia read the list slowly.

Then again.

And then she quietly thought:

"…That is actually a very serious upgrade."

For once, the system was not exaggerating.

She could already feel most of those changes herself.

The planetary foundation felt much stronger than before.

It was difficult to explain, but her world now felt less fragile.

Less like a young planet still trying to hold itself together.

And more like something that had truly stabilized.

That mattered more than she had expected.

Because during the Dust Planet stage, even though her world had been growing well, there had always been a subtle sense of incompleteness beneath everything.

Now that feeling was gone.

Now the world felt anchored.

More real.

More capable of carrying the weight of future growth.

Alicia liked that.

Quite a lot, actually.

Then she focused on the second change:

Energy circulation efficiency increased.

That one became obvious almost immediately.

The flow of Life Energy and Soul Power across the planet had become much smoother than before.

The rivers no longer just carried water—

they carried vitality.

The forests no longer simply held dense energy—

they circulated it more naturally into surrounding regions.

Even the plains, which had once felt somewhat weaker compared to the more spiritually rich forest zones, now felt healthier and more balanced.

Alicia paused.

Then thought:

"…So basically, my whole planet just got better at being a planet."

Honestly, that was a very respectable upgrade.

Simple.

Useful.

And not likely to explode unexpectedly.

That last part was especially important.

Then her focus shifted again.

She carefully observed the life on her world.

And immediately, she noticed another difference.

The humans had changed.

Not physically in any dramatic way.

But the Soul Power around them had become more compatible with their existence.

It settled around them more easily now.

Their bodies seemed more naturally receptive to it.

The same was true for the beasts.

Especially the beasts.

The creatures of the forest, plains, and highlands all felt subtly more synchronized with the world's spiritual environment than before.

It was not enough to make them powerful overnight.

And Alicia was very glad about that.

Because if everything suddenly became overpowered after one breakthrough, that would be deeply annoying and terrible for story balance.

No.

This was better.

This was more natural.

They now had higher potential, not instant strength.

And that was exactly how it should be.

Alicia approved.

Then the system chimed again.

Ding!

Another screen appeared.

[Realm Advancement Reward]

Rewards Granted:

100 Life Energy

50 Space Energy

1 Primitive World Fragment

Function Unlock Opportunity Available

Alicia immediately focused on the third reward.

"…Primitive World Fragment?"

That sounded important.

And vaguely suspicious.

Which, in her experience, usually meant it was either useful, dangerous, or both.

Probably both.

She opened the description.

A new blue panel appeared.

[Primitive World Fragment]

Type: Planetary evolution material

Description:

A rare fragment formed during successful planetary advancement.

Contains a small portion of Primitive World essence.

Uses may include:

improving planetary functions

supporting future environmental evolution

unlocking certain hidden development paths

assisting advanced lifeform nurturing

Alicia read the screen once.

Then twice.

Then stared at it for a while.

"…Okay."

"That is definitely future-important."

Which meant one thing.

She was absolutely not using it recklessly.

That could wait.

She had already learned by now that some resources were worth saving until she actually understood what she was doing.

And Alicia considered that a major sign of personal growth.

At the beginning, she would probably have poked it immediately just to see what happened.

Now?

Now she had standards.

Very low standards, perhaps.

But standards nonetheless.

Her attention then shifted to the final line.

Function Unlock Opportunity Available

Alicia narrowed her thoughts.

That one was immediately interesting.

"System," she asked calmly, "what does that mean?"

The answer came quickly.

[System Explanation]

Upon entering a higher planetary realm, the host may gain access to a new realm-compatible planetary function.

Primitive Planet functions are more complex and have greater long-term developmental influence than Dust Planet functions.

Available options will now refresh.

Alicia's interest rose immediately.

Now that sounded useful.

A new panel appeared before her.

[Available Primitive Planet Functions]

1. Minor Climate Framework

Allows the host to guide large-scale seasonal and environmental tendencies.

2. Species Growth Bias

Allows the host to subtly influence the developmental tendency of selected lifeforms or races.

3. Regional Spiritual Vein Formation

Allows the host to gradually form concentrated spiritual flow paths beneath specific regions.

Alicia stared at the list.

Then immediately focused on the third option.

And honestly—

it wasn't even close.

Her mind moved quickly.

Minor Climate Framework

Useful, yes.

But still not urgent.

Species Growth Bias

Also useful… but dangerous if used poorly.

That sounded like something that could accidentally create nonsense if she got careless.

But Regional Spiritual Vein Formation?

That was different.

That was excellent.

Because if she could slowly create concentrated spiritual flow paths beneath certain areas, then she could:

make key regions more valuable

support future cultivation zones

strengthen race development naturally

and create the beginnings of true spiritual lands

That was exactly the kind of thing a cultivation world needed.

Alicia's decision came almost instantly.

"…Yes. That one."

She selected it without hesitation.

Ding!

[Function Unlocked]

Regional Spiritual Vein Formation

Description:

Allows the host to gradually establish deeper energy channels beneath selected regions, increasing long-term Soul Power and Life Energy concentration in those areas.

Alicia immediately understood how important this was.

This was no longer just broad environmental shaping.

This was the beginning of something much bigger.

This was the kind of function that could eventually create:

spiritual forests

cultivation valleys

sacred mountain regions

and powerful race habitats

And for the first time—

Alicia could clearly see where her world was heading.

Not just toward survival.

Not just toward growth.

But toward becoming a true cultivation world.

That thought stayed with her for a while.

Then she looked over her world again.

The rivers.

The forests.

The plains.

The highlands.

The humans.

The beasts.

Everything looked the same at a glance.

But now, underneath all of it—

the potential had changed.

The future had widened.

And Alicia could feel that more clearly than ever before.

The silver fox was, naturally, the first beast she checked on.

It was currently sitting beneath a tree as if it had personally contributed to the realm advancement.

Alicia stared at it for a second.

Then thought:

"…You really have done absolutely nothing to earn that posture."

The fox remained, as always, completely unbothered.

At this point, Alicia had accepted that this creature existed solely to be quietly suspicious.

She would deal with that later.

Probably.

Maybe.

Eventually.

For now, she turned her thoughts toward the future.

She had crossed into a new realm.

Her world had entered a new stage.

And that meant the next arc of growth would also be different.

More complex.

More meaningful.

And far more interesting than before.

Alicia smiled faintly.

Then thought:

"…Alright."

"Let's see what a Primitive Planet can really do."

Far below, the wind moved softly across the plains.

The rivers continued their steady flow.

The forests breathed with life.

And somewhere beneath the surface of the world—

something deeper had already begun to form.
