An intense battle followed. The already devasted area shock under the cumulative blows of black flashes and piercing blood.
Sanso blood piercing was lossing it's efficiency. With so much rubble inbetween them, his trajectory would often collide with obstacles.
Another blood piercing travelled towards Yuji. But he hid behind a boulder. Unfortunately, the blood trail took a turn and was about to pierce his side. It was thanks to a quick dismantle that the blood spear was destroyed on it's path.
Yuji came into the open. Sanso knowing that he had now all possibilities, unleash several blood piercings.
Yuji ran towards him, cleaving the blood piercing with dismantles. Just as he was close to him, he unleash a mild black flash. Sanso thought that this was his chance to injured him at close proximity. But that weaken punch was just the premonition to a next attack.
At once Yuji unleash an extensive dismantle that severed Sanso arms, legs and head. Scattering them in all direction. The torso fell to the ground, blood oozing out of it.
Yuji thought that the fight was over. But seeing that the torso wasn't disintegrating, alarmed him.
Suddenly from behind him, Sanso appeared. His blood piercing gazed right above his shoulder.
He dozed backward maintaing some distance between them. Upon looking closely he saw that Sanso appeared out from the place where his severed arm was present.
[Despite being a young curse Sanso had many techniques at his disposal. His proficiency for blood piercing was as good as Choso, but above that he had his own technique - Blood fission. Blood fission allowed Sanso to regenerate his complete body from even a small severed piece as long as it contain even a drop of his own blood]
Sanso quickly believed that he had won the match. The poison would soon start working. But little did he knew that Yuji Itadori was more than just a normal sorcerer. He was immune to his poison.
Using a simple domain, Yuji launched himself towards Sanso, deflecting the blood with dismantles. At close quarters he unleashed a barrage of black flashes.
"I will beat you with normal black flashes, so don't think that you would find another escape route" Yuji commented while beating from right and left. And true to his word, he gave no rest to Sanso.
With a concentrated black flash aimed at his abdomen, Yuji sent Sanso flying and glued him to a piece of boulder. He prepared another black flash, this time to completely exorcise the curse.
He motioned his punch with full force and it landed on the belly of a frog. The punch too lose all its curse energy.
Yuji turned to his right and saw a young woman holding a stone filled with curse energy.
At the corner of his eye he spot a figure rising from the ground.
"Long time no see Yuji" Megumi said while coming out from Itadori's shadow. Megumi's sword slash was block by a piercing blood from Yuji.
He leapt out of his shadow and stood on a heap of rubble. The woman had already carried the unconscious Sanso to a safe location away from the two sorcerers.
"Yo! Haven't you gotten a bit older, Megumi?" Yuji teased him.
"Don't joke around Yuji. You know that the vessels of Sukuna don't age normally"
