Chapter 254: The 60th Floor Boss, Yun Qingge?

.....

God Domain, 60th Floor...

As soon as Seito stepped out of the 59th-floor Boss Labyrinth, he was greeted by the sight of countless soldiers setting up camp.

"The Emperor!" a soldier shouted, his voice cracking with disbelief.

Whoosh—!

In an instant, every single soldier turned to look at Seito. Their eyes burned with a fervent, radiant light—the light of absolute devotion. To them, Seito was nothing short of a deity.

"Your Majesty!"

"Emperor!"

"Lord Sei!"

A chorus of voices erupted, filled with uncontrollable excitement. Seito didn't appear often, so most of their daily command was handled by his Executives. Seeing him in person was a monumental event for them.

"Greetings, comrades," Seito said, offering an elegant, composed smile.

Hearing his voice, the soldiers grew even more ecstatic. He was greeting them.

Seito kept his smile steady. The soldiers had been instrumental in unifying the 30th floor under his command, a contribution he could never overlook. Fortunately, his Executives had been efficient, ensuring that merit was rewarded with positions of authority. As a result, the Snezhnaya Empire was virtually free of corruption—Seito's prestige alone was enough to keep any ambition in check.

"Where are the Executives and generals?" Seito asked a nearby soldier.

"Your Majesty," the soldier answered, vibrating with excitement. "They are currently on the front lines, clearing the monsters of the 60th floor!"

"Understood. Continue your rest, everyone."

With a leap, Seito soared into the air, heading straight toward the front lines.

A short while later, guided by the soldiers' directions, Seito arrived at the front.

The scene before him was chaotic. The deep crimson afterglow of the setting sun was slowly fading, but the battle remained locked in a brutal stalemate. Neither side was retreating; they were locked in a desperate, frenzied slaughter.

Seito could see that if it weren't for Kirukiru Amou's map-clearing attacks, his Snezhnaya Empire's forces would have likely been wiped out by now. The casualties were severe—a natural consequence, given that the monsters were generally higher-leveled than the imperial soldiers. The battlefield was littered with corpses and broken gear, yet not a single Snezhnaya soldier had taken a step back.

Fortunately, Maple was already level 97. She had activated her skill, sharing her defense stats with the troops to boost their survivability. Without her, the death toll would have been even higher.

"Gale's Blessing!"

BOOM!

Seito commanded with a low shout, and the heavens shifted instantly. The clouds, previously stained red by the sunset, took on a pale, ethereal golden hue.

Whoosh—!

Golden light rained down from the sky, causing countless soldiers to look up. They felt their bodies suddenly grow light, as if they could sprint to the very end of the 60th floor in a single breath.

"It's His Majesty!"

"The Emperor!"

"Holy crap! The Guild Master's support skill is here! Everyone, charge!"

"Damn it! That's god-tier speed! Watch me take these bastards down!"

"Forget it. Real damage comes from the Executives. Your attacks aren't even scratching them."

"..."

"That hurts, man..."

Guild members and imperial soldiers alike roared as they launched their counter-attack.

"Dimensional Cube!" Seito whispered.

The cube appeared, hovering beside him, before dismantling into twenty-seven glowing blocks.

Whoosh—!

The blocks shot outward, tearing into the ranks of the monsters.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

The Cube's attack power was devastating; a single strike obliterated entire swarms. The cataclysmic damage left everyone stunned, but after the initial shock, they erupted into fanatic cheers.

"Guild Master! Guild Master!"

"The Emperor! The Emperor!"

Encouraged by his overwhelming power, they dove into the fray, finishing off the monsters weakened by his assault. It was a complete, one-sided crush.

Half an hour later, the battlefield was clear. Seito used his Spatial Perception skill.

"Found you."

Sensing the remaining wild monsters hiding across the floor, Seito flicked his wrist. The twenty-seven blocks flew off in all directions, beginning a precision-guided execution.

Ten minutes later, the twenty-seven streaks of light returned, stitching themselves back together into a cube that settled beside Seito. He looked down at the crowd below, his gaze landing on his Executives.

He drifted down to meet them. "The mobs on the 60th floor have been cleared. You all start coordinating to build the Safe Zone. I'm heading to the Boss Labyrinth!"

The Boss Labyrinth was his final target for the day. He wanted to see what lay beyond the 60th floor. He didn't necessarily want a conflict, but he needed to investigate the situation.

"No problem!" the Executives replied in unison.

Seito turned and departed.

A while later, Seito pushed open the doors to the 60th Floor Boss Labyrinth and stepped inside.

Deng—

Deng, deng—

The melodious sound of a guqin drifted into his ears. Seito froze, his expression turning to one of utter astonishment.

"The boss of this floor... is a person?" Seito murmured.

It was true. The boss ahead wasn't some strange, twisted monstrosity like the ones he'd faced before.

He was a man dressed in flowing cyan Hanfu robes. His features were exquisite, his eyes gently closed, sitting cross-legged and playing the guqin. With the serene atmosphere, he looked more like a refined scholar held captive than a dungeon boss.

Seito was deeply perplexed.

[Yun Qingge]

[???]

[???]

He couldn't see the stats! The presence of such a person in the 60th-floor Boss Labyrinth was deeply, unnervingly strange.

"Someone has finally arrived."

Yun Qingge stopped playing and opened his eyes.

What kind of eyes were those? Gold, glowing with a faint, divine aura! They looked incomparably magnificent, high and unreachable.

"This is... a God?" Seito frowned.

There was no mistake. The moment the man opened his eyes, he exuded the same aura of divinity that Seito himself possessed!

This left Seito completely baffled. Was the boss of the 60th floor actually a God?

Unable to make sense of the situation, Seito spoke coldly.

"Who are you?"
