Chapter 123 - Chapter 123: The No Longer Unique Power of the Galaxy

Merlot Heavenly Court, Heavenly Base King's bedchamber, observatory.

This place is not a laboratory filled with precision instruments like the Silver Moon Observatory, but a more private and quiet place.

The dome is a transparent energy barrier, and outside is the eternal starry sky and slowly swirling Nebula.

The interior is simple yet elegant, with a few comfortable chairs, a small tea table, and the air is filled with the faint fragrance of Heavenly Base snow tea.

Hexi reclined in a chair with silver-blue cushions, her silver hair cascading like water, her posture lazy.

She played with the 'box' that was neither gold nor jade, with runes flowing, but her eyes were as sharp as an eagle, as if trying to pierce through the infinite mysteries contained within.

Opposite her, Holy Keisha sat casually, one hand supporting her chin, her gaze fixed on the vast sea of stars outside the dome.

She appeared leisurely, but those familiar with her could feel that under that calm appearance, a complex deduction far exceeding stellar computing was taking place.

Between the two, an invisible force field isolated all prying eyes from inside and outside, and even the Sky-based Computing Cluster and Knowledge Treasury had their monitoring of this place reduced to a minimum.

'How much of that 'gift' have you read?' Holy Keisha's voice broke the silence, without turning her head, still looking at the starry sky.

'Less than a third, and just a rough browse, far from understanding.'

Hexi's fingers gently stroked the warm material of the box's surface, strange light flashing in her eyes, 'But just these are enough to make me re-examine the technology tree we have built for thirty thousand years... No, it should be said, it let us see a brand new sky above the technology tree, one we have always looked up to but have always been separated from by a thick barrier.'

She put down the box, picked up the slightly cool snow tea in front of her, and took a sip, seemingly wanting to suppress the shock and burning in her heart with that clear taste.

'Holy Keisha, our previous research, whether it's Dark Energy drive, gene engine, or sub-biological theory, is like doing fine decoration and partial renovation inside a magnificent but structurally known building.'

'And this knowledge... it directly provides the basic principles, design drawings, and even some construction tool concepts for building this building, or even building completely different, higher-dimensional buildings.'

'It crosses not time, but dimensions and cognitive levels.'

Holy Keisha finally withdrew her gaze from the starry sky, those eyes that seemed to contain the birth and death of the Universe looked at Hexi, calm and waveless:'So, the Angel Civilization has a new direction.'

'A direction... that might not need to rely on the Power of the Galaxy, and doesn't need to bet on some 'future main god'.'

'Power of the Galaxy...' Hexi put down the teacup, fingertips tapping rhythmically on the armrest, making a regular sound, 'Deno legacy, one of the three major god-making projects, carrying the expectations of the Super Seminary and many civilizations for the 'main god' era.'

'We invest in him, load Angel gene coding on him, and even plan to let Yan... essentially, we hope to guide him, so that his future 'anti-void' and'sacred body' concepts can become a key to resisting ultimate fear, and leading a new era, or rather... a banner.'

'At the same time, it is also binding the future of the Angel Civilization to a 'main god' who might grow up, is powerful, and can be influenced by us.'

Her tone carried a trace of imperceptible mockery, not directed at Ge Xiaolun himself, but at this plan full of uncertainty and thick political game colors.

'But now, the situation is different.' Hexi's gaze became sharp, 'We have a more direct, more essential, more... Angel's own key in our hands.'

'If this knowledge is digested properly, the Angel Civilization is fully capable of breaking through existing technical barriers on its own, touching and even mastering power at the 'rule' level.'

'We don't need to pin the future of our civilization on the 'Power of the Galaxy' who has a long growth cycle, unsettled temperament, and is involved in many power games behind the scenes.'

Holy Keisha was silent for a moment, slowly saying: 'But the investment has been made, and the plan has started.'

'Yan's gene matching is not top secret within the high-level Angels.'

'A sudden turn will cause unnecessary speculation and turmoil.'

'Especially... if some interested people realize we have obtained something 'beyond the era', trouble will follow.'

'I know.' Hexi nodded, she certainly understood the stakes,'So, the steps cannot stop immediately, and even less can we turn publicly.'

'Observation of the Power of the Galaxy, limited support, and even expectations for 'Yan's future' on the surface can continue to be maintained.'

'This play must go on.'

'But the core must change—the Power of the Galaxy is demoted from 'future hope and core investment' to 'important potential ally and observation target'.'

'Angel core resources and top research power must be secretly and fully tilted towards digesting this new knowledge.'

She leaned forward slightly, lowering her voice: 'More importantly, Holy Keisha, we have to think clearly, is it us controlling the Power of the Galaxy, or are we ultimately bound or even backlashed by the Power of the Galaxy, or rather, the old era 'main god' order represented by the Power of the Galaxy?'

'With a new direction, we have more confidence and initiative to choose.'

Holy Keisha's fingertips tapped lightly on the armrest, a glimmer flashed, and a star map unfolded in front of her, with a blue Planet specially marked—Earth.

'The new direction needs time to digest, needs to be carried out secretly, needs... a relatively stable, or at least not heavily interfered with, external environment.'

Holy Keisha's voice was as cold as ice, 'But the clock of the known Universe will not stop for us.'

'According to the last routine report sent back by Yan a while ago, and the latest monitoring data analysis of the Heavens Blade Department system... Morgana is likely already lurking on Earth.'

Hexi's eyes suddenly narrowed: 'The Demon King... she is also eyeing that place?'

'Right, the Super Seminary is restarting on Earth, two of the three major god-making projects are gathering there: the Power of the Galaxy Ge Xiaolun, the Nuo Xing God of War Liu Chuang, and the Sunlight Reina, although she is from Lieyang, but who knows what kind of trouble that old man General is hiding, plus other secrets that might be hidden... that place is indeed a good place to stir up the wind and rain and spread her set of fallen freedom thoughts.'

'More importantly, that place is likely also the focus of that pervert Karl.'

'The script has already begun.'

Holy Keisha's tone was flat, but carried invisible pressure, 'The vanguard of the Taotie has approached the Chi Wu Star System, and the minions of the Styx Galaxy can't wait to offer slaughter and death to their god.'

'That bunch of kids from the Super Seminary are about to be pushed onto the stage.'

'And we Angels... according to the original script, I should go to Earth, as the King of Gods, to judge Morgana, and at the same time... see the 'future' we invested in with my own eyes.'

'But you have a new choice now.' Hexi interjected, light flashing in her eyes, 'You can choose not to go.'

'With a new direction, the importance of Earth's'script' has decreased.'

'You can sit in the Heavenly City and fully promote the digestion of new technology.'

'Let Yan take the young Angels to deal with it, or simply reduce direct interference in Earth.'

Holy Keisha slowly shook her head, her gaze turned to Earth on the star map again, her eyes deep: 'No, Hexi. I must go to Earth.'

'Why?' Hexi frowned, 'Because of Morgana? Although she is troublesome, she is not the immediate threat.'

'Because of the Power of the Galaxy? He is not worth mentioning now.'

'Because of... Karl?'

Holy Keisha did not answer directly, but asked: 'Do you think the many forces in the known Universe, especially the God of Death Karl, and those old guys hiding in the shadows, will believe that I suddenly gave up my attention to Earth and the Power of the Galaxy?'

'Especially when Morgana appears and the Styx Galaxy is restless?'

Hexi was silent.

Indeed, Holy Keisha personally coming to Earth to judge Morgana is an inevitable move in line with her 'King of Gods' persona and the 'order of justice'.

If she suddenly didn't go, it would trigger countless speculations, attracting more unnecessary eyes to the Angel Nebula, affecting their secretly conducted new technology research.

'And,' Holy Keisha continued, her voice dropping a few degrees, 'This is also an opportunity.'

'An opportunity... for me to 'exit' temporarily, and buy more secure and hidden development time for new technology.'

Hexi looked up sharply, looking at Holy Keisha: 'You mean...'

'The deduction of the Knowledge Treasury, combined with the latest variables,' Holy Keisha's voice was terrifyingly calm, as if stating a fact unrelated to herself,'shows that if I go to Earth personally and have a full-scale conflict with Morgana, the probability of Karl interfering in the dark is over 97%.'

'In that case, the possibility of my 'fall'... still exists, but it has dropped from the original 'high probability inevitable' to an 'acceptable risk with some room for operation'.'

Hexi's breath choked slightly.

Although she was mentally prepared, hearing Holy Keisha mention the possibility of 'fall' again, and even including it in the plan's consideration, her heart still sank.

This is one of the deepest secrets between them, one that was deduced with the help of the Knowledge Treasury long ago when they discovered traces of ultimate fear and realized the potential threat from Karl and some existences hidden in the shadows of history—the'script' of the fall of Holy Keisha as a catalyst to trigger internal changes in the Angels, break the shackles of the old order, and even... buy time and space for the true power to resist ultimate fear.

This plan was shelved because the cost was too high, the variables too many, and there was no new direction sufficient to lead the change.

'But it's different now, Hexi.' Holy Keisha's gaze turned to Hexi, in those deep eyes, galaxies seemed to be rotating, 'New knowledge is the new direction, the cornerstone of change.'

'My 'fall', if operated properly, can not only continue to act as a catalyst, disrupt the eyes of the known Universe, set traps for demons, Styx, and other forces, but also buy the most critical and precious 'blank period' for the Angels to secretly digest this knowledge and achieve a real leap.'

'An era without Holy Keisha's'suppression' will cause many monsters and demons to jump out, and will also expose and resolve the internal contradictions of the Angels in advance.'

'And when we return with new power...'

She didn't continue, but Hexi already understood.

This is a gamble, at the cost of Holy Keisha's 'fall', in exchange for the chance of the Angel Civilization's rebirth, and the opportunity to clear out the monsters and demons of the known Universe.

And now, because of the 'gift' brought by Artoria, the winning odds of this gamble have greatly increased.

Because they have a trump card in their hands sufficient to overturn everything.

'The best plan... calculated by the Knowledge Treasury?' Hexi's voice was a bit dry.

'It was one of the many possibilities with relatively high winning odds, but also the highest cost,' Holy Keisha corrected, 'But now, the winning odds have increased, and the cost... perhaps can be controlled.'

' 'Fall' is not necessarily the end.'

Hexi stared at Holy Keisha: 'How much certainty do you have?'

Holy Keisha slightly raised the corners of her mouth, a cold and sharp arc: 'Originally, less than 30%.'

'Now, adding the variables that the knowledge in your hand might bring, plus the preparations we can make in advance... 50%, or more.'

'Most importantly, we have a clear direction and confidence for 'return'.'

'Even if I really remain silent for a period of time, the Angels, and you, and the new fire, will not lose their way.'

'So, Earth must be visited, and the 'fall' play might still need to be performed.' Hexi summarized, her eyes becoming sharp and calm again, 'But this time, it is no longer a forced choice out of despair, but an active layout, advancing by retreating, paving the way for the true future.'

'At the same time, it can also observe the situation on Earth, Morgana's movements, and... what Karl is planning.'

'Not bad.' Holy Keisha nodded, 'I will go to Earth.'

'But this time, the preparations must be more sufficient.'

'The method of 'fall', the backup for resurrection, the blockade of information, and... ensuring that during my 'absence', you can smoothly promote the digestion of new technology and stabilize the situation in the Heavenly City.'

'What about Yan?' Hexi asked,'She doesn't know these yet.'

'According to the original plan, she will take your place, undergo trials, and grow rapidly.'

'Now...'

'Yan's growth is still necessary.' Holy Keisha's tone was firm, 'The new direction needs a successor, and the future of the Angels needs a new king.'

'But her path might be different because of the existence of new knowledge.'

'You can let her know part of the truth, but keep the core plan confidential for now.'

'She needs to be on Earth, under the loss of my 'protection', to truly understand what responsibility is, what sacrifice is, and what... finding hope in despair is.'

'This is beneficial to her and the Angels.'

'I understand.' Hexi took a deep breath, drank the cold snow tea in the cup in one gulp, as if to suppress the waves in her heart, 'I will start preparing.'

'For the new knowledge, I will organize the most reliable core team, and under the premise of absolute confidentiality, start analyzing and verifying it in stages and selectively.'

'I will also personally design your 'backup' to ensure nothing goes wrong.'

'As for the trip to Earth... when do you plan to leave?'

'No rush.' Holy Keisha leaned back into the chair again, her gaze cast into the endless starry sky again, as if gazing at that distant blue Planet, and the drama about to unfold on it, intertwined with hope and destruction, 'Let the bullets fly for a while.'

'Let the Taotie perform first, let the kids from the Super Seminary adapt to the taste of war first.'

'Also let... Morgana and Karl expose more.'

'When the time is ripe, I will descend.'

'And then...'

Her voice lowered, turning into a barely audible sigh, or a cold declaration: '...is the beginning of the mid-game slaughter of this chess game.'

'And this time, what we hold in our hands is not only a sword, but also... a pen to create new rules.'

Inside the observatory, the tea fragrance curled, the two most powerful and wisest female kings in the known Universe, under the eternal starlight, set the chess game that will affect the fate of countless civilizations.

And the focus of their gaze, besides that distant star field, seemed to occasionally sweep past the direction of the Silver Moon Observatory.

There, there is the girl who brought the variables, and there is the direction of their future... 'pen tip'.
