Chi Wu Star System, outer orbit. Holy Keisha's throne flagship had not moved, but its presence itself had already become the most unignorable coordinate in this star sector. A golden stream of light, separated from the flagship and escorted by several small heavenly blade assault boatss, descended steadily and rapidly like a gaze cast by a deity, streaking through the dark space of the Universe toward Earth, toward a certain military Base on the coast of Huaxia—giant gorge.
No advance notice, no application for a flight path, not even an attempt to hide their trail. The news of the King of Angels' personal arrival on Earth had already reached the ears of every power in the Known Universe concerned with the matter, following the appearance of that throne flagship. And at this moment, this stream of light falling toward Earth was undoubtedly the final announcement.
giant gorge, aircraft carrier deck.
Sharp combat alarms had long since blared, but the atmosphere was not one of resolution in the face of an enemy attack, but rather a solemnity mixed with shock, awe, tension, and even a hint of panic. On the deck, fully armed soldiers were as if facing a great enemy, yet no one dared to truly raise their muzzles. Various detection devices operated frantically, attempting to lock onto those heavenly blade assault boatss that descended elegantly, appearing more like works of art than killing machines.
Du Kao, Elder Huang, Lian Feng, and the recently returned Leina, Monkey King, Rose, Liu Chuang, and others, who still bore the scent of gunpowder and blood, had long been standing solemnly in the core area of the deck, waiting. Ge Xiaolun was also among them; his face was pale, his head bowed, not daring to look at anyone. The depression in his chest caused by the Monkey King's blow had barely recovered after emergency medical treatment, but the mental trauma was clearly far from healed.
The heavenly blade assault boats hovered lightly a few meters above the deck, the hatch sliding open silently.
The first to step out was still Angel Yan. She was still in her red skirt and silver armor, but her expression was more solemn and grave than before. Her left hand rested on the hilt of her flame sword, and her gaze calmly swept over the people of Earth waiting in formation on the deck, finally landing on Du Kao's face. She nodded slightly as a greeting.
Next was Artoria. She had changed into a more formal silver-white robe with subtle Angel wing patterns. Her long hair was tied behind her head with a simple silver ring, and the "star dome" at her waist flowed with a restrained light. Her expression was calm, her gaze clear, and she stood side-by-side with Yan, possessing neither overbearing pressure nor deliberate humility, only a natural sense of presence, as if wherever she stood was the center.
Finally, it was the figure that truly made everyone's breath hitch.
Holy Keisha was not wearing her signature silver armor and red skirt royal robes, but a simpler yet equally sacred and inviolable pure white gown. Her long golden hair draped down like sunlight, and her exquisite face bore a faint, calm expression as if looking down upon all living beings. She did not even use her throne, but simply stepped out of the assault craft at a leisurely pace, her toes lightly touching the air as she hovered elegantly about a foot above the deck. Without any movement, her aura, vast as a sea of stars and majestic as the firmament, enveloped the entire deck, making everyone feel a sense of awe and suffocation from their very souls.
The King of Gods, Holy Keisha, had descended in person upon the Earth's military vessel.
"Queen Holy Keisha." Du Kao suppressed the shock and a hint of instinctive fear in his heart, stepped forward, placed his right hand over his chest, and gave a standard military salute with Deno characteristics. His voice was steady, but a faint, undetectable tension could be heard if one listened closely. "Welcome to Earth, to the giant gorge. May I ask what instructions Your Majesty has for this visit?"
Elder Huang also bowed slightly in greeting, his expression solemn. Leina curled her lip and said nothing. The Monkey King squinted, his Golden Cudgel resting on his shoulder, warily sizing up Keisha. Rose, Liu Chuang, and the others instinctively stood straighter and gripped their weapons tighter, even though they knew that in the face of such a being, these weapons were no different from toys.
Keisha's gaze slowly swept over everyone, lingering for an extremely brief moment on Ge Xiaolun. That gaze was calm and waveless, yet it made Ge Xiaolun feel as if he were being pressed by the weight of the entire Universe, causing his head to hang even lower. Finally, her gaze returned to Du Kao.
"General Du Kao," Keisha's voice was peaceful yet clearly reached everyone's ears, as if sounding directly in their minds. "During our previous contact, your representative clarified the position of Earth Civilization. The Angels grant their respect."
She paused, her tone still calm but carrying an indisputable sense of announcement: "This visit is not to restart negotiations, nor is it for 'instructions'."
Du Kao's heart tightened.
"The 'Justice' of the Angels is one of the cornerstones of the Known Universe's order." Keisha continued, her gaze turning toward the distant horizon, as if piercing through the clouds to see the hidden shadows. "The Demon Queen Morgana, the greatest source of evil and chaos in the Known Universe, has now had her tracks locked by the Angels."
As soon as these words were spoken, the faces of everyone on the deck, especially the high-ranking Earth officials who understood the threat of Morgana, changed drastically.
Keisha's gaze fell back on Du Kao and... Ge Xiaolun behind him.
"According to Angel intelligence and monitoring, Morgana is currently hiding on Earth. Her specific location has been preliminarily confirmed." Keisha's voice took on a hint of cold killing intent. "To completely eradicate this evil, for the peace of the Known Universe, and to... prevent Earth from becoming a breeding ground for demons, the Angels have decided to immediately launch the 'Heavens Blade Judgment'."
Heavens Blade Judgment!
These three words were like a thunderclap exploding on the deck! Even ordinary soldiers who knew little about interstellar warfare could feel the destructive meaning from the name. The faces of Du Kao, Elder Huang, and the others instantly became incredibly grim.
"However," Keisha changed the subject, her gaze fixed on Ge Xiaolun, whose face was ashen and whose body had already begun to tremble, "the power of the 'Heavens Blade Judgment' is enough to cause irreversible impacts on a Planet's ecology. Earth is a pre-nuclear civilization; it is your home. Although the Angels have the right to judge demons, out of basic respect for a living Planet, and..."
She paused slightly, her tone carrying a strange, almost formulaic "respect": "...and in recognition of the 'autonomy' of Earth Civilization, the execution of this judgment requires explicit authorization from Earth's local 'Main God' or 'Guardian'."
"And Power of the Galaxy, Ge Xiaolun," Keisha clearly enunciated the name, "as the only known 'Future Main God' of Earth currently recognized by Deno and the Super Seminary, your authorization is a necessary procedure."
Authorization? To have Ge Xiaolun authorize the Angels to launch a Planet-killing strike on Earth? To go after Morgana? This was simply...
"No!" Du Kao almost roared, stepping forward to block Ge Xiaolun, his face ashen. "Queen Keisha! This is absolutely out of the question! We have some understanding of the power of the Heavens Blade Judgment! Once launched, whether it hits Morgana or not, it will be a devastating disaster for Earth's ecology and innocent civilians! We cannot authorize it!"
"Yes, Queen!" Elder Huang also said urgently, "This matter concerns the survival of Earth; it must not be handled so rashly! We are willing to cooperate with the Angels to find and surround Morgana, but we must not use a strike of this level!"
Leina also frowned deeply. Although she also detested Morgana, she felt this method was too aggressive. The Monkey King snorted coldly and said nothing, but he clearly did not agree either.
Ge Xiaolun was even more scared out of his wits, hiding behind Du Kao and waving his hands repeatedly, unable to even speak clearly: "No... no... I... I can't... it won't work..."
Keisha looked calmly at the agitated people of Earth. There was no hint of surprise on her face, nor any anger at being offended, only a bottomless indifference. She seemed... to have already expected this reaction, and had even completely lost interest in it.
"This is the Angels' established procedure, and it is also based on respect for Earth's 'autonomous' status." Keisha's tone did not fluctuate in the slightest. "If the Power of the Galaxy refuses to authorize, then the Angels will not use the 'Heavens Blade Judgment' without the consent of Earth's 'Main God'. But accordingly, the pursuit of Morgana will revert to conventional tactics, the efficiency and success rate of which will be greatly reduced, and the subsequent risks Earth may bear as a result... you must consider for yourselves."
This was almost kicking the ball of choice and responsibility back, and doing so in a way that was "reasonable" and "respected sovereignty."
The veins on Du Kao's forehead bulged; he felt pushed into a corner. On one hand, he could never agree to such a strike that could destroy Earth; on the other hand, he was absolutely unwilling to let Morgana continue to remain at large, threatening Earth. What made him even more frustrated was that Keisha's rhetoric of "respecting sovereignty" and "requiring authorization" perfectly utilized the "autonomy" they had emphasized when refusing "protection" earlier, making it difficult for him to argue against it logically.
"Queen Keisha! Is there really no other way?!" Du Kao asked, almost gritting his teeth.
"Or," Keisha's gaze seemed to inadvertently sweep over Artoria before returning to Du Kao, her tone flat, "does Earth have enough confidence in its own ability to independently resolve the threat of the Demon Queen Morgana? If so, the Angels can also stand by and watch, respecting Earth's... 'independent response'."
Resolve Morgana independently? What a joke! A recruit company that had just been battered by the Taotie Vanguard, going to resolve a Demon Queen with a fourth generation divine body?
Du Kao's face turned red and white intermittently, a surge of anger and frustration almost exploding in his chest. He suddenly felt that his previous rhetoric of "independence and autonomy" and "refusing protection" had now become a noose around his own neck. And Keisha was calmly and elegantly tightening it, bit by bit.
Just as the atmosphere reached a stalemate and Du Kao was almost on the verge of losing emotional control, Ge Xiaolun behind him seemed to be completely crushed by this immense pressure, or perhaps he was blinded by some sudden, unrealistic "sense of mission" or "desire to perform," and he actually lunged out from behind Du Kao, his face flushed, roaring with all his strength:
I... I am the Power of the Galaxy! I... I can handle this! We don't need you Angels to intervene! We... we can deal with Morgana ourselves!
As soon as those words were spoken, even Du Kao was stunned, looking back at Ge Xiaolun in disbelief.
Had this kid gone mad from fear, or what?
In Holy Keisha's eyes, a faint, almost imperceptible trace of pitying mockery flashed by.
Ge Xiaolun seemed encouraged by his own "bold words," or perhaps he had simply decided to throw caution to the wind; he panted heavily and continued to shout: "Yes! We... we have a plan! We have... we have the 'Three-Stage God-Killing Operation'! Specifically to deal with you... you gods!"
Three-Stage God-Killing Operation?
Many people on the deck wore bewildered expressions; even Du Kao and Lian Feng looked stunned, clearly having never heard of this term before.
Only Qiangwei looked sharply at Ge Xiaolun, her eyes filled with incredulous absurdity and a sense of despair that "this guy is completely hopeless."
This was clearly just a "tactical name" filled with chuunibyou fantasies, casually made up by Ge Xiaolun, Liu Chuang, and Zhao Xin while they were messing around and blowing hot air during their private training sessions!
He actually shouted it out in this setting, right in front of Holy Keisha?!
Ge Xiaolun, however, seemed to have found his backbone; he looked at Liu Chuang and Zhao Xin beside him, his eyes carrying a hint of a plea for help and a "hurry up and back me up" vibe.
Liu Chuang looked completely bewildered, and Zhao Xin was also dumbfounded.
But with the arrow already on the string, Ge Xiaolun bit the bullet and, following the "script" of his own imagination, shouted to Liu Chuang and Zhao Xin: "Liu Chuang! Zhao Xin! With me! Execute the 'Three-Stage God-Killing Operation'! Let them see the power of our Earth Super Soldier!"
As he spoke, he actually clumsily mobilized the faint Dark Energy within him, attempting to fly up and charge toward Holy Keisha, who was hovering in mid-air!
Liu Chuang and Zhao Xin were caught off guard by his sudden "order" and subconsciously followed suit by mobilizing their energy, the three of them attempting to lift off from the deck in an extremely uncoordinated and even comical manner.
The deck was deadly silent.
Everyone stared blankly, including Angel Yan, who wore an expression that suggested, "What kind of farce is this?"
Du Kao's face turned livid; he wanted to stop them but was too angry to speak.
Old Huang opened his mouth, but it ultimately turned into a heavy sigh.
Leina turned her head away, unable to bear watching.
Monkey King's mouth twitched, and he almost dropped his Golden Cudgel.
And on the throne, Holy Keisha didn't even look at the three comical figures attempting to "charge"; instead, her gaze fell upon Artoria, who had been standing quietly to the side all along, a faint, imperceptible glimmer of indulgence and amusement flashing in her golden eyes, as if to say: Look, is this what you were talking about earlier... "other things"?
Just as the three of them had barely lifted half a meter off the ground, and the so-called "Three-Stage God-Killing Operation" was about to begin in the most embarrassing way possible...
Artoria, who had been silent the whole time, moved.
She didn't even take a step forward; she simply raised her right hand slightly and snapped her fingers toward the airspace where Ge Xiaolun, Liu Chuang, and Zhao Xin were located.
"Snap."
The sound was still very soft.
But the next moment, something bizarre happened.
The faint glow of Dark Energy that had just lit up on Ge Xiaolun, Liu Chuang, and Zhao Xin instantly extinguished, like light bulbs with their power cut off!
The three of them's clumsy flight stance stalled abruptly, as if they had lost all power and control, and then, like marionettes with cut strings or dumplings dropped into a pot—
Thud! Thud! Thud!
With three consecutive dull thuds, the three of them crashed back onto the hard aircraft carrier deck with even greater speed, causing the deck to tremble slightly!
Ge Xiaolun landed face-first, a classic faceplant; Liu Chuang landed on his backside, grimacing in pain; and Zhao Xin fell on his side, looking utterly disheveled.
"Ouch!"
"Damn it!"
"What's going on?!"
The three of them were dazed and confused, struggling to get up, only to find that the Dark Energy within them seemed to be completely locked down and impossible to mobilize, and even the basic physical enhancements provided by their Super Genes seemed to be suppressed, becoming heavy and sluggish.
The deck was in an uproar!
The soldiers and officers on the Earth side were dumbfounded, completely unable to understand what had happened.
Du Kao, Lian Feng, and the others were horrified; they could feel that the moment Artoria snapped her fingers, an extremely subtle yet incredibly sharp stream of special information had instantly invaded Ge Xiaolun and the others' Dark Plane, forcibly interrupting their energy mobilization, and even... performing some kind of deep-level interference and lockdown!
It was Artoria! What had she done?!
Artoria slowly lowered her hand, her expression remaining calm, as if she had just casually brushed some non-existent dust off her sleeve.
She looked at the three of them, who were in a sorry state on the deck, struggling to get up only to collapse weakly, especially the ashen-faced Ge Xiaolun; there was no emotion in her clear eyes, only a cold, scrutinizing, and knowing look characteristic of a technician.
"Logic Lockout Virus: temporarily and forcibly blocks the target's perception and mobilization of external Dark Energy, disrupts the basic computational logic of the Super Gene within them, and renders them temporarily unable to actively activate extraordinary abilities or perform complex energy operations. Duration, depending on the target's genetic stability and external energy environment, is approximately 12 to 36 standard hours."
She paused and added, her gaze falling on Ge Xiaolun: "Permanently blocks and logically isolates all technical interfaces, energy pathways, and underlying protocol access permissions within the target that are related to Angel Civilization."
"In short," Artoria looked at Ge Xiaolun, who was pale and finally showing fear in his eyes, and declared in a flat tone, "From this moment on, all 'conveniences,' 'backdoors,' 'advanced functions,' and 'potential compatibilities' within the Power of the Galaxy gene system, endowed by or related to Angel technology, will be permanently disabled. You will no longer be able to mobilize, perceive, or benefit from any technological legacy left by the Angel Civilization in your genes in any way."
"Your growth, your strength, your future... will depend entirely on the legacy of Deno, the resources of Earth, and... your own efforts and choices."
"This is the response to your unauthorized and hostile 'combat actions.' It is also... a formal severance of certain inappropriate remarks and attempts made previously."
Silence.
Deadly silence.
Only the sound of the sea breeze whistling remained on the deck.
Everyone on the Earth side, including Du Kao, looked as if they had been hit by a freezing spell, staring blankly at Artoria, then at the devastated Ge Xiaolun and the others on the ground, with Artoria's calm yet cutting words echoing in their minds.
Logic Lockout Virus? Permanently blocking Angel-related technical interfaces? Power of the Galaxy... has been "castrated"?
Du Kao felt a chill shoot straight from the soles of his feet to his scalp!
The "Power of the Galaxy," on which he had spent countless efforts and pinned his high hopes, had one of its greatest potentials and values in its potential compatibility and future possibilities with the Angel Civilization!
This was also one of the reasons he dared to "leverage" the Angels to a certain extent!
But now... it had been permanently stripped away by this seemingly young Angel girl with a snap of her fingers?!
This made him feel more fear and despair than killing Ge Xiaolun! This fundamentally crippled one of the greatest futures of the "Power of the Galaxy"!
A trace of surprise also flashed in Angel Yan's eyes, which then turned into deeper understanding and a hint of gratification.
To deal with guys who didn't know the immensity of heaven and Earth and still harbored delusions, this clean and neat "excision" on a technical level was more effective than any show of force and was more in line with Artoria's style.
And on the throne, Holy Keisha maintained that calm and majestic posture from beginning to end.
Only when Artoria made her move, cleanly resolving the absurd farce and, with a nearly cold technical means, completely severing the last "convenient" connection between Ge Xiaolun and the Angels, did her beautiful lips curve slightly upward in a faint, yet real, arc.
In that arc, there was no surprise, no praise, only a kind of... pure, indulgent pleasure, as if she were watching her own child maintain the tidiness and rules of their "courtyard" in the way they were best at.
She even adjusted her sitting posture slightly to make herself more comfortable, as if she were enjoying a little play where the ending was already expected and the performer's performance was quite to her liking.
"As for the Power of the Galaxy, since my little one has spoken, if it's locked, it's locked. Don't even think about unlocking it later; wait until the Power of the Galaxy makes some positive contributions useful to the Angels, then we'll consider it."
Under the starry sky, on the aircraft carrier deck, one side was dumbfounded and in a sorry state; the other was calm and composed, in control of everything.
And that dialogue called "Power of the Galaxy Authorization" had long since lost all meaning in the farce of the "Three-Stage God-Killing Operation" and the ensuing "Logic Freeze."
Holy Keisha's gaze turned toward the distance again, toward the depths of Earth, as if piercing through mountains and rivers, locking onto a coordinate emitting an aura of corruption and chaos.
Her voice sounded calmly, bringing this brief and twist-filled "second dialogue" to an end:
"It seems that an authorization cannot be reached."
"Then, the judgment of Morgana will proceed according to the standard Angel procedures."
"Everyone on Earth, please... suit yourselves."
After finishing, she didn't even look at Du Kao and the others again; her figure slowly faded, as if merging into the sunlight, and disappeared from where she was.
Also disappearing along with her were Angel Yan and Artoria.
Leaving behind only a mess on the deck, and hearts that had sunk to the bottom.
