Neo's heart almost flew out of his chest in surprise for a second when he heard a voice in the dark room.
"Relax, it's me." The person switched on the lamp.
There was a guarded look on Neo's face as he saw the mischief in the violet eyes of the speaker and the carefree smile on their red lips.
"Well, it's not me because I'm not actually here." Raze tilted his head to the door, gesturing for Neo to close it.
He did, stepping into the room slowly with his eyes pinned on Raze. "What do you mean?"
"I mean, I'm simply inputting my consciousness to your mental space. Kinda like astral projection but not quite." Raze explained with big words.
Neo's guard didn't lighten as he asked, "Why are you here?"
He had quickly come to terms with Raze's presence in his room and didn't bother fighting and struggling like the last time. Maybe because he knew that he wouldn't be able to tell apart reality from illusion when he was with Raze.
