"I… d-don't know." Adrian said with moist eyes and a raspy breath.
Neo's heart was twisted. He hoped some random alpha hadn't tried to take advantage of Adrian, but all the signs were there.
"Come on," Neo reached for Adrian again. "I'll get you to the hospital."
Though Adrian did not fling his hand away this time, his behavior was equally weird. He turned his head to face Neo's hand that was grabbing onto his shoulder.
He took a whiff of Neo's wrist and said, "You smell so good."
Neo raised a brow but dismissed the words as he lifted Adrian to his feet. And Adrian was not as light as he looked. He must have weighed over a thousand pounds.
Neo almost stumbled back while helping him stand up. Just as he succeeded in doing that, Adrian leaned on him and whispered incoherently.
"Want to… want to take a bite."
Neo didn't understand what Adrian meant by those words until the youth began to gnaw at his skin, trying to bite his neck.
