Vex moved, his expression calm as his drove the kitchen knife into the nearest person to him.
"RUUNNN!" someone shouted as they ran away
Some tripped and in an instant were trempled on while others tasted death at the hands of Vex blade, they couldn't run fast enough being slowed down by the people in front of them.
But no one stopped as the screams bounced off the marble walls.
Everyone understood what could happen next if they stopped, if they slowed down.
As such some boy pushed others out of the way trying to run faster through the crowd that fill the hallway, while those who were shoved to side fell and filled the hallway with their screams as each step crushed them closer to dead.
As they pushed each other and killed each other in the hope of survival they failed to realise that Vex had long stopped.
He had long vanished into the crowd now the only thing they were fleeing were the screams that filled the hallway.
While most boys ran from the the kitchen a boy in jade suit cursed as these ragged boys bumped into him "get out of my way you peasant scum"
But no one heard Tristan over the screams of those being trampled, fear had consumed their mind in that moment they had lost grip with reality, as the screams that echoed in the hall served as a grim reminder that death was near, no one dared to stop for a noble.
Now Tristan had to move against crowd of terrified boys, although Tristan had a strong body with a crowd of more than 20 boys rushing his way his body would naturally get pushed back, unless he used aura.
Even a bolder will soon give away against a strong current when placed in a river, Tristan stood as that bolder with each step he could feel current pushing back, slowly chipping away at his strength.
He sighed then moved again as a faint hue of blue could be seen around him, the boys that were once a strong current become nothing but flies.
His steps crushed those who had fallen and in an instant they died.
He was a moving mountain to these children and after a while they ran around him as he moved closer to the kitchen.
He looked at the bodies that stood in hallway as the last ragged boy ran past him, most had been trampled to death while only 4 had died from a blade.
He looked into the kitchen and saw 5 bodies lying around the cabinet that stood at the center of the kitchen.
He stepped inside and the blue hue around his faded as he looked at the walls that were covered in symbols of blood.
Tristan stood in front of the hallway and spoke "I was wondering how a mercenary could know about bloodline weapons but turns out your just a cultists"
"This is great news if I kill you the duke will have to knight me" he smiled taking a step further from the hallway "but if you come out I'll just beat you up and capture you"
The kitchen was silent as he stood there waiting for Vex, he frowned "you've chosen death"
He took a another step then.
"Tlrr" he felt something pierce the right side of his stomach as a familiar voice spoke from behind "it looks like your the one who'll be dying tonight"
Before Tristan could move Vex moved his arm forward, opening a gash on the right side of Tristan stomach.
Tristan jaw clenched as a he back kicked Vex into the hallway "Thud"
"Thud...thud" Vex rolled into the bodies in a hallway
"kurk" he smiled as he puked blood 'this is why hate using that sick fuck's techniques'
He stood up with a bloody smile as he looked at Tristan.
"What are you looking at you damn cultists" Tristan smirked as he looked at his wound and turned Vex "your going to regret not going for my vital spots"
"Really" Vex licked the blood off his teeth as he walked over the bodies in front of him.
He smiled as he looked at Tristan and said "why don't you use your aura then tough boy"
"Sure" Tristan raised his hands then his eyes widened as his smile waved.
"Thats what I thought" with the light behind him, Vex silhouette stepped closer and with a wide grin he spoke "let's try this again, who do you think is going to die?"
