Chapter 26 - Chapter 26: Lesson for Damon

Vhagar

Dreamfire, everyone prefers this one!

Sheepstealer

Bloodworm Caraxes

Viserys was not yet 30 years old at this time. Although he was a bit chubby, he was tall and in his prime. Coupled with the Targaryen Family's extraordinary appearance, he was definitely a handsome older man.

His heroic demeanor in taming the founding Giant Dragon Vhagar caused all the maidservants present to have stars in their eyes.

Emma, holding Daenerys's hand, was even more filled with happiness. Not only was Daenerys safe and sound, but her husband had also successfully tamed Vhagar, currently the largest founding Giant Dragon of House Targaryen.

Her husband, Viserys, was the only one who had not only tamed Black Dread Balerion but also tamed the founding Giant Dragon Vhagar.

His name would surely leave a significant mark in the history of the Targaryen Royal Family members.

Today had been quite a roller coaster for Emma, and it had worried her terribly. Although she knew Daenerys was very brave, and her Dragon Dreamfire was also very powerful, the notorious reputation of Glutton was not for nothing.

She often heard members of the Royal Family recount tales of Glutton devouring Dragon and island residents.

Now, not only was Daenerys safe and sound, but she had also completely restrained that ferocious Giant Dragon Glutton, making it difficult for him to do evil again in the future.

Her husband had also finally made up his mind to tame a Giant Dragon again, and he had succeeded in taming Vhagar, currently the largest Giant Dragon, in one go.

At least from now on, Viserys possessed the ability to protect his family. He no longer had to worry about his loved ones having to face external threats on their own.

And Viserys, sitting steadily on Vhagar's saddle high in the sky, was also feeling a mix of emotions at this moment.

He hadn't expected that he would finally tame another Dragon of his own, and it was Vhagar, second only to Balerion.

From now on, he would no longer have to endure the sight of his loved ones fighting alone on their Dragons.

Moreover, riding Vhagar not only brought Viserys great inner satisfaction, but he also felt that his entire spirit had changed. A surge of heroic ambition seemed to be gushing out from within him.

At this moment, the storm finally arrived.

Fortunately, Daenerys and the others were well prepared. Tall tents had been set up both at the barbecue area and at the designated spots on the beach for everyone's attention.

It was quite a unique experience to barbecue in the pouring rain.

While Viserys was riding his Dragon across the Narrow Sea in the storm, Rhaenyra, who had gone to High Tide for reinforcements, appeared with Princess Rhaenys, who was riding Red Queen Meleys, flying over Dragonstone.

When they saw Viserys flying on Vhagar, they were all stunned.

"Father?!"

"Viserys?"

Meleys, the Red Queen

Seeing Princess Rhaenys approaching, Viserys quickly steered Vhagar to land on the beach. He happily stood in front of the tent in the rain, awaiting his cousin's arrival.

To satisfy Vhagar's enormous appetite, the Dragon Guard's lamb roasting work had almost never stopped.

Now was a good time to use these fragrant roasted fat lambs to thank Rhaenys and her Meleys for their arrival.

"Congratulations, cousin!"

Princess Rhaenys immediately came on Meleys after receiving Rhaenyra's plea for help.

The distance between High Tide and Dragonstone was not far, and Princess Rhaenys's Dragon Meleys was the fastest Dragon in Westeros.

She hadn't expected that the Dragon battle would already be over when they arrived without wasting any time.

And as soon as she arrived, she saw Viserys soaring above the Narrow Sea on Vhagar.

She asked curiously,

"Did you, cousin, defeat Glutton while riding Vhagar?"

It was no wonder Princess Rhaenys had this question, after all, besides Vhagar, it seemed there was no other Dragon that could severely injure and knock out the ferocious Giant Dragon Glutton.

Viserys proudly explained,

"Daenerys, riding Dreamfire, and with the help of Sheepstealer, first defeated Glutton."

"And Glutton was ambushed and intercepted by Vhagar during his escape, which severely injured and knocked him out."

"In this battle, Daenerys and her Dreamfire deserve the most credit."

"Oh, I see!"

Rhaenys looked at Daenerys with satisfaction upon hearing this and said,

"Good girl! You truly are a princess of House Targaryen."

"Cousin, marry Daenerys to High Tide. I will love her as if she were my own daughter."

"You know! There are few people who catch my eye, but both your daughter and adopted daughter are very much to my liking."

"House Targaryen and House Velaryon have always had a tradition of intermarriage. If the two children can be united, it would naturally be good."

Viserys did not give a definite answer,

"But they are still young now. Let them spend some time together first. It's not too late when they reach the age of marriage."

"Your word is enough!"

Princess Rhaenys had always been straightforward,

"Anyway, I am determined to have one of the two princesses marry into High Tide."

While Viserys and Princess Rhaenys were discussing their children's marriage, Daenerys had already had the roasted fat lambs delivered to Red Queen Meleys and Rhaenyra's Dragon Syrax.

Rhaenyra, already panting with exhaustion, hugged Daenerys and said happily,

"Daenerys! It's so good that you're okay! Do you know? You scared me to death."

"To urge Syrax to fly faster, look, my hands are all chafed."

At this moment, Rhaenyra felt somewhat like crying tears of joy, but she was completely drenched by the storm at the time, so it was impossible to tell whether it was tears or rain.

"And on the way back, my Syrax was actually able to keep up with Meleys."

"That's the fastest flying Dragon in all of Westeros! It seems my Syrax also has a lot of potential!"

Rhaenyra's sudden closeness made Daenerys feel a bit unaccustomed. It seemed that blood ties were most easily ignited in times of crisis.

Seeing Rhaenyra like this, Daenerys actually felt a bit fond of her! And her dirty, soaked clothes were also ignored by Daenerys, who had a strong sense of cleanliness.

To thank Princess Rhaenys for her arrival, Viserys's family not only hosted her by offering dozens of fat lambs to treat her Dragon Meleys well, but also invited Princess Rhaenys to Dragonstone for a grand banquet.

Currently, Dragonstone's kitchen could be said to be among the best in all of Westeros. So Princess Rhaenys also ate very happily, and it was a joyful occasion for both host and guest.

Just as everyone was enjoying their meal, Daemon finally returned, riding his Giant Dragon Caraxes.

"What's so special about today?"

Prince Daemon, who had returned in the rain, clearly did not yet know what had happened today.

But what greeted him was a large cup of dragonflame wine poured over his head by Viserys and a torrent of scolding.

By the time they returned from the room next to the banquet hall, Prince Daemon was already bruised and swollen.
