Chapter 85 - Chapter 85 Three Dragons Take Off

Princess Magna's hatched red dragon, Simoros, was nearly forty years old, making him the oldest and largest of the four dragons.

He was covered in scales that were reddish-purple, and his head was noticeably larger than that of a typical dragon, with purplish-black horns and claws that were also disproportionate to average dragons.

From his appearance, if it came to a close-quarters fight, it was estimated that no dragon of similar size would be his match.

Antros was a bronze dragon, resembling Silver Wing and Amoros, but he was more slender.

Antros's most distinctive feature was his enormous Dragon Wings.

His Dragon Wings was clearly larger than that of a typical dragon, adorned with dense golden spots, and the tips of his Dragon Wings revealed a hint of purplish-red, combined with his thick, powerful tail, giving Antros a considerable speed advantage.

After the three dragons crawled out of the Dragon Lair, they, like Amoros, eagerly flew into the sky.

Indeed, Antros was the fastest; his figure, flying high in the sky, was as agile as a cunning rabbit.

He quickly left Simoros and Aposos far behind.

Aposos's metallic-textured scales shimmered with dazzling bronze light in the sun, making him look incredibly majestic.

Moreover, each time he flapped his Dragon Wings, he did so with extreme force, which added to his regal aura.

As for the large-headed dragon Simoros, although he appeared robust and well-fed, he was noticeably clumsy when flying.

He was left far behind by Antros and Aposos.

After only a few hours, three more dragons, never before seen by anyone, appeared over King's Landing.

This immediately sparked heated discussion among the people of King's Landing.

After all, the common folk at the foot of the Son of Heaven, even beggars on the street, had some understanding of politics.

"I'm afraid this struggle for the Crown Prince won't be so simple!"

"Yes, four dragons appeared within a single day; it seems those Lord probably wouldn't dare to casually interfere in the struggle for the Crown Prince anymore!"

"Indeed! Aegon the Conqueror and his queen swept across the Seven Kingdoms with just three dragons back then; now the royal family possesses more than a dozen battle-ready dragons!"

"But don't forget that House Velaryon also has dragons! Only dragons can kill dragons!"

After the dragons ascended, Daenerys had the Dragon Guard bring out a flock of goats, then commanded Dreamfire to breathe Dragonflame to roast them all, while she sprinkled her special barbecue seasoning over them.

Smelling the aroma of roasted lamb, Amoros, who had already eaten his fill, couldn't help but start devouring again.

Even Dreamfire, accustomed to fine cuisine, began to eat there.

Fortunately, a large number of goats were raised near the Dragon Lair, and from time to time, Lord from King's Landing would also offer goats and fat pigs.

Therefore, the Dragon Lair did not lack meat for the dragons.

The three dragons had already exhausted their stamina after flying for just over twenty minutes.

The first to run out of stamina was the large-headed red dragon Simoros.

After only flying a few circles around King's Landing, he returned to the Dragon Lair, panting heavily.

Seeing the roasted goats before him, he eagerly devoured them, but after only three, he couldn't eat any more.

Unexpectedly, despite his robust appearance, his body was surprisingly weak.

Now, he was in the fastest growth stage for dragons; with such an appetite, how could he possibly grow?

The second to return was Antros; as soon as he landed, he was also attracted by the roasted lamb scattered on the ground, and so he eagerly wanted to eat.

However, Simoros, though already full himself, still domineeringly roared furiously at Antros, not wanting him to come over.

When Daenerys tried to intervene, the large-headed dragon Simoros directly and fiercely aimed his large mouth at her, and an orange-red glow was already brewing in his throat, as if he would spray at the slightest disagreement.

Seeing this, the Dragon Guard quickly drove Simoros away with long dragon-training poles.

Simoros was relatively obedient to the Dragon Guard who had raised him since he was small, so he was quickly driven away by them.

At this point, Antros quickly rushed to the pile of roasted lamb and began to devour it in large mouthfuls, but he also could only eat two or three before he couldn't eat anymore.

Having learned from Simoros's lesson, Daenerys did not approach him directly, but instead slowly drew near while chanting the Targaryen Family lullaby to awaken dragons.

Antros's temperament was clearly much gentler than Simoros's; he showed no aversion to Daenerys's approach and even brought his head close to Daenerys, sniffing her gently.

When Daenerys successfully stroked his dragon head with both hands, she began to softly chant Ancient Valyria spells.

As Daenerys chanted, Antros suddenly felt a surge of fiery energy intensely circulating within his body, as if a pile of dying embers had been rekindled by a fresh breeze.

This made Antros feel extremely comfortable, and at the same time, his fondness for Daenerys greatly increased.

Just as Daenerys had chanted three times, and a wave of fatigue came over her, Antros comfortably and uncontrollably exhaled a stream of orange-red Dragonflame into the sky.

At this moment, Antros felt as if all his meridians had been unblocked; not only did he feel much more refreshed, but his appetite also began to improve.

Because he felt the fat lamb he had just devoured was being rapidly digested.

So Antros continued to bury his head and devour.

And Daenerys, who was already feeling distinctly tired, retreated to Dreamfire's side and began to recover her strength.

At this moment, Aposos in the sky finally felt tired and flew back to the Dragon Lair.

However, his appetite was clearly much better than Simoros and the others'.

He directly devoured five or six fat lambs before lazily lying down on the open ground outside the Dragon Lair for a nap.

"Your Highness, do they need to be sent back to the Dragon Lair?"

Although the Dragon Guard had a historical tradition of helping the Targaryen Family raise dragons for thousands of years, they had never heard of someone like Daenerys who could control multiple dragons.

So, they were a bit confused by the current situation and could only consult Daenerys.

"Send Simoros and Aposos back to the Dragon Lair!"

"Yes, Your Highness."

Because Daenerys might not be able to fully command Amoros and Antros yet, but she could at least easily direct them, there was naturally no need to send them back to the Dragon Lair.

However, Simoros and Aposos had not yet established any connection with Daenerys.

It would be better to send them back to the Dragon Lair for supervision first, otherwise, it would be troublesome if they flew away and became wild dragons.
