"You two should find a place to hide," Carter turned to Nina and Quill.
The two former Cyber Slaved nodded and dipped without questions.
"Those two seem… How to say this?" Neros mumbled.
"Cowardice?" Carter smiled.
Neros nodded.
"Forgive them. They are just slaves in the end." Carter said.
"Slaves, sir?" Piper said.
"They were ordinary people, Piper. Not even trained warriors like us. They were kidnapped against their will and forced to infiltrate our world. That is why I believe they won't betray me." Carter said.
"But still… To trust them is very risky." Neros said.
"You misheard me. I didn't say trust. I said believe.
I believe that they hate their captors enough to work with us. As for trust… They can only be trusted as long as their goals align with ours."
Neros had nothing else to say. He nodded in agreement.
Carter pushed the gate open and walked inside. The cemetery was empty and peaceful, surprisingly.
It was the only place in the city that wasn't ransacked by Terrors.
The butcher stood tall in the middle of the cemetery. It was not hard to find him.
Carter's eyes glanced toward the graves on the ground.
'I can turn corpses into skin shards… I wonder if I can turn these decades old corpses into shards?'
Carter made a mental note to do it later. He was not going to dig a body up in front of Neros and Piper.
"We go in as usual. I will take the frontline. Piper will restrain it if it tries to move away. Attack at will, Neros."
"Yes, sir!" Neros and Piper nodded.
Carter unsheathed the Prisoner.
"Then… Shall we begin?"
Carter jumped toward the large Terror. He turned into a human bullet and slammed on the Butcher's saggy body. This time, he was unable to force it on its knees.
It was stronger than the Wolfman.
Carter's blade plunged inside the Butcher. It screamed in pain and flapped its arm at him. But he was already gone.
The Butcher turned around and revealed itself.
A gigantic and fat humanoid creature with the head of a pig. It held a butcher knife on its other hand.
The Butcher slammed the squared knife at the ground where Carter was. The white swordsman dashed away already, feeling the ground shaken behind him.
It was stronger and thicker. But the Butcher was much slower than the Wolfman.
'It's at the same level as the previous Peak Terror. Not much of a danger.'
Carter even considered Wolfman more dangerous as it was quicker.
He circled around the Butcher and slid its knees. Blood splashed out like a fountain. The blood sizzled when it touched the white robe, unable to taint it.
"Down, you ugly pig!" Piper roared as she wrote a letter in the air.
Vines shot out from the ground and wrapped around the Butcher, forcing it down.
The pig head stumbled forward. It caught itself with its hands.
Neros ran around it in a circle and blasted endless fireballs at it. It stung the Terror and distracted it, allowing Carter to sneak onto its back.
The white swordsman approached its head and cut out a large hole on its nape.
Blood flooded out like a pool.
The Butcher slapped his nape like he's slapping a mosquito. But Carter was gone.
He went to the Butcher's back. The Prisoner plunged into the back of the Terror. Carter ran down along its spine, cutting out a large gap.
The Butcher roared even more. It flung its butcher knife around in panic.
'Usually we would need at least 20-30 Invokers to kill a Peak Terror. With Zeneros, that number lowers to 2…'
Neros glanced at the white swordsman and his beautiful sword skill. He couldn't help but wonder what kind of Terror could kill an Eldritch Knight.
That thought terrified him. But he kept his cool and continued to fulfil his role.
The Butcher finally landed on its belly. A pig on the boards waiting to be cut.
Carter grabbed the Prisoner with two hands. He didn't want to extend the fight anymore.
"Prisoner… Unbound!"
Feathers shot out from him and pierced into the Butcher's body. The thin blade became an oversized black blade.
Carter jumped on its back again. His entire body spun in the air and turned into a circular saw. He cut through the Butcher's body and split the Terror in two.
The feathered continued onward and landed on the ground. He turned back to the white swordsman before his feet touched the ground.
The Unbound form was his greatest strength at the moment. He didn't want to show its power too much.
"What a strike…" Piper mumbled.
Carter slid the Prisoner back in with a 'click'.

"Well done, you two." Carter said.
He squatted down and placed his hand on one-half of the Butcher's body.
The Butcher's two halves slowly disappeared as Carter turned it into skin shards.

'Enough for another Major Terror… I wonder what this one will be.'
"An Invoker and a Priest in one. Unbelievable." Neros said.
He saw Carter cleansed Terrors a few times and was still in shock.
Carter fought the urge to ask what a Priest was. Zeneros should know what a Priest was so he couldn't ask.
"This should be for today." Carter said.
"That soon?" Neros checked his watch, "There's still a few hours left until sunrise."
"Fighting needs proper resting. Overworking yourself is foolish." Carter thought up a bullshit excuse.
"That isn't wrong." Neros scratched his head.
"Can you help me lead the other two back to Caine's place?" Carter said.
"You're not coming?" Piper said.
"No. I still have something I need to do."
"Heh! Telling us to go rest and then continuing yourself." Neros smirked. "Yeah yeah. I know you have your reasons. I won't refute it. Let's go, Piper."
"Stay safe out there." Piper waved goodbye to Carter.
Carter waved back.
'I have some skins to forge, that's what I need to do!'
The two Invokers disappeared. Carter's face turned cold immediately.
'And scene!' Carter broke character.
He used his heightened perception and Living Sense to make sure no one was around. Then he dashed away from the cemetery. He found a thick dense wood before transforming back to the System Ghost.

Zeneros had become the most wanted man in Terrorstate. Carter wouldn't deny the possibility of some satellite or high-tech device watching his every step. So he had to leave the city behind.
'Now… Let's see what I got here.'
