The woman was very strong. Much stronger than Carter thought. She threw him over the shoulder.
Carted spun in mid-air and landed his feet on the wall. He used the wall as a platform and pushed down, pinning the woman down on the ground.
Carter grabbed her mask and pulled it away. Her hair fell down and her face was revealed.
"Oh? What a pretty girl like you doing in the quarantined zone?"
She had grey hair. Like a wolf. And her skin was spotless.
The woman kicked him off.
Carter stumbled backwards and quickly regained his balance.
"I should ask the same of you. Who are you? What are you doing in Abe's Infirmary?"
"Where are my manners?"
Carter took off his hat and bowed slightly.
"Vladimir Wampyr. The third of his name. Prince of Transylvania. Count… Dracula."
