Florence picked up the glowing red vial. She gulped instinctively.
"Will there be a risk?"
"Of course there is. Nothing is gained without risk." Carter nodded.
"What are the risks?" Peter said.
"You may die. A very minor chance. But you may die." Carter replied.
Peter squeezed the Heart Race Potion within his hands. He trusted Carter much more now because of how direct he was. If Carter told Peter it was a miracle potion, he would have thought otherwise.
"Let me drink this, Master Desilet." Peter said.
Charles shook his head. "I need to drink it also. Witches, Werewolves, Undead. This world is not that simple anymore. I need power to protect myself and the people I care about."
Then they looked over to Florence.
"Can this power allow me to stop the Dark Witch within me?" Florence said.
"I don't know. But you can have your own power instead of being driven by your Cursed Blood again like you have been all your life." Carter said.
