Sairis's POV
Sairis looked at the paper in his hand and then at the name written at the top of it and then back at the answer written below it and genuinely could not decide if he was more tired or more annoyed.
He set it down on the stack to his left, which was the stack for papers that required a conversation with the student in question rather than just a grade, and picked up the next one.
Same problem. Different handwriting.
He pressed two fingers to the side of his head and looked at the ceiling briefly.
Out of twenty two students, one alpha had completed the assignment correctly. One.
He had read that paper first, graded it, set it aside, and had been working through the remaining twenty one ever since with the slow building frustration of a man who had genuinely believed, going into this, that the assignment had been clear enough.
It had been clear enough. That was not the issue.
