Chapter 43 - Wu Liang, This Spear of Yours is Really Hard!

Over the next few days, Akomann's iron-blooded drills became the most eye-catching sight in the entire Tribe.

In just three short days, over thirty people were whipped in public by Akomann until their skin split and flesh was exposed because they couldn't endure it or had made mistakes.

But these Female Warriors had a streak of stubborn ruthlessness in their bones.

The harder they were beaten, the more determined they became to be the best!

By the fifth day, when Akomann once again gave the order for the entire group to turn right...

*Swish!*

Eight hundred people moved in perfect unison.

They completed the turn almost simultaneously, without the slightest bit of hesitation.

That synchronized movement and the sound of the wind it stirred up made the scalps of all the watching tribespeople tingle.

How long had it been?

How did they seem like a completely different group of people?

Looking at the initial form of the troop before her, a trace of a satisfied smile finally appeared on Akomann's face.

She knew this was only the beginning.

A sharp sword had already begun to gradually reveal its edge in her hands.

Time flew by, and in the blink of an eye, a month had passed.

The production efficiency of the Military Workshop was astonishingly high under Wu Liang's cost-no-object resource allocation.

After the first batch of samples for the tower shields and heavy crossbows were successful, Chief Steward Wula led the Artisans to begin mass production.

Black standard military uniforms were also being rushed out in full swing by the seamstresses organized by Eliza.

The prototype of a new army was gradually being perfected and taking shape.

During this month, the training of the Black Rock Army also entered a new phase.

After completing the most basic formation drills...

Akomann began to conduct targeted training for them according to their branches of service, following Wu Liang's instructions.

Three hundred tall Female Warriors with outstanding strength were selected to form a heavy infantry phalanx.

Their daily task was to lift logs weighing dozens of catties to practice strength and endurance.

The other two hundred, who were relatively agile and had good arm strength, became archers.

Their training syllabus was the three-stage firing tactic that Wu Liang had taught Akomann.

The entire training ground was a scene of bustling activity; the slogans of the Female Warriors and Akomann's scolding almost never stopped from morning till night.

As the days passed, the recruits went from their initial endless complaining to numbness, and then to gradual adaptation.

Not only did their bodies become stronger and more resilient...

Most importantly, the look in their eyes had changed.

They were no longer loose and undisciplined; when everyone stood together, they were orderly and obeyed every command!

This made Wu Liang very satisfied; he hadn't expected Akomann's training results to be so rapid.

It once again made him reflect on how correct his original decision had been.

He saw all of Akomann's hard work and decided to give this woman some rewards.

That afternoon, Wu Liang suddenly called Akomann over and told her to come to his place after training ended.

That evening, after training, Akomann dragged her exhausted body and pushed open the door.

But the room was empty.

Wu Liang wasn't there.

She walked to the dining table, sat down, and rubbed her aching shoulders.

Today, to train the heavy infantry's shield wall charge, she had personally held a shield and been rammed dozens of times; she now felt like her bones were about to fall apart.

Just then, the door of the stone house was pushed open.

Wu Liang walked in from outside, holding a square object wrapped in sackcloth.

"You're here?"

Wu Liang smiled when he saw her.

"Mm."

Akomann stood up and subconsciously went to meet him.

"Where did you go?"

"I went to the Military Workshop and brought you a gift."

Wu Liang had a mysterious look on his face as he placed the object in his hand on the table.

"A gift?"

Akomann was stunned.

She thought of those black silk stockings, and her cheeks couldn't help but feel a bit hot.

What kind of tricks was this man trying to pull now?

"Open it and see."

Wu Liang gestured.

Akomann hesitated for a moment, but still reached out and untied the wrapping sackcloth.

As the layers of sackcloth were peeled away to reveal the item inside, Akomann's breathing became rapid.

It was a suit of armor.

A suit of pure black leather armor that shimmered with a cold luster.

It was completely different from the armor in the Tribe that was simply sewn together from rough animal hides.

The leather armor before her had smooth lines and a beautiful design.

Every piece of the armor plating had been carefully cut and shaped to perfectly fit the curves of the human body.

Breastplate, pauldrons, bracers, greaves... it had everything.

At the joints of the plates, it was reinforced with fine metal rings.

It ensured protection without losing flexibility.

What moved Akomann the most was the design of this leather armor.

It wasn't the bulky, heavy full-body armor, but a tight-fitting light armor that accentuated the figure.

Especially the breastplate part, which perfectly outlined a woman's curves.

The waist was tapered, making it look very heroic yet with a hint of lethal sexiness.

It was too beautiful!

"This... this is for me?"

Akomann's voice was excited as she stroked the armor, unable to put it down.

"Of course."

Wu Liang said with a smile.

"What? You don't like it?"

"I like it! I love it so much!"

Akomann pulled the leather armor into her arms, like a child who had received a favorite toy.

She was a warrior.

For a warrior, what gift could be more moving than a suit of fine, custom-made armor?

"What... what kind of skin is this made of? Why is it so tough, yet so light?"

She asked as she stroked the cool, smooth surface of the leather armor, unable to take her hands off it.

"This is made from the hide of an Armored Rhinoceros."

Wu Liang explained.

"I had the Artisans soak it in a special potion for seven days and then repeatedly beat it with heavy hammers before it was tanned into what it is now."

"Its defensive power is enough to withstand the slashes of ordinary swords."

"Hurry and try it on; I'll help you."

As Wu Liang spoke, he took the initiative to step forward and pick up the breastplate, preparing to help her put it on.

Akomann's face turned red, but she didn't refuse.

She obediently took off her sackcloth outer robe, leaving only a close-fitting short shirt.

Wu Liang wrapped the cold breastplate over her snow rabbits, then went behind her to help her fasten the leather straps on her back.

"Inhale."

Akomann obediently took a deep breath, and her lower abdomen instantly tightened.

Wu Liang took the opportunity to pull the leather strap to its tightest.

"Alright."

Akomann looked down.

The black leather armor perfectly encased her proud bust and slender waist.

At this moment, it showcased her powerful and feminine figure to the fullest.

Next were the pauldrons, bracers, greaves... when the last piece of armor was put on, Akomann walked to the mirror made of polished copper plates in the room and was completely stunned.

Was the person in the mirror still her?

With her neat short hair and this heroic, sharp black leather armor, she looked like a Valkyrie stepping out of the darkness.

Wildness, power, sexiness... all these qualities merged perfectly together.

"Akomann, you're so beautiful."

Wu Liang embraced her from behind by the waist, his chin resting on her shoulder.

Akomann looked at the two of them in the mirror; her body stiffened slightly, but she soon relaxed and let this man hold her.

She looked at the tall, handsome man and the heroic woman he held in his arms in the mirror.

Involuntarily, an unprecedented sense of satisfaction and sweetness welled up in her heart.

Following this man didn't seem so bad after all.

"Come, I have one more thing for you."

As Wu Liang spoke, he turned and picked up another object from the corner.

It was a long spear.

A long spear made entirely of fine iron, flickering with a cold, grim light!

The shaft was straight, and the spearhead was triangular with blood grooves; one look and it was clear it was a lethal weapon born for slaughter.

"Take it!"

Akomann took the long spear from Wu Liang's hand; it felt cold and heavy in her grip.

"Wu Liang, this spear of yours is really hard!"
