Chapter 139 - Maxim? water-cooled heavy machine gun

As soon as these words were spoken, even Sa Lan fell silent.

It was true; even a blind person could see it.

These Fox girls were like a group of cats smelling fish, and Wu Liang was the biggest, most delicious fish of all.

That evening, after finishing his day's work, Wu Liang was preparing to return to his tent to rest when he saw a figure lingering outside.

It was Yaduo.

Today, she wore a very form-fitting silk dress that perfectly outlined her mature curves.

Under the moonlight, her already charming face gained a touch of hazy beauty.

Her fluffy fox tail swayed gently behind her.

"Chief."

Seeing Wu Liang, Yaduo gave a graceful bow, her voice soft and seductive.

"It's so late, is something the matter?"

Wu Liang looked at her and asked calmly.

"It's nothing major."

Yaduo looked up, her fox-like eyes sparkling in the night.

"It's just that my clanswomen have caused the Chief quite a bit of trouble; I've come specifically to ask for your forgiveness."

"Oh? What trouble?"

Wu Liang asked, knowing full well the answer.

Yaduo covered her mouth and chuckled, taking two steps forward until she was almost pressed against Wu Liang.

A scent mixed with body fragrance and some kind of botanical perfume instantly surrounded Wu Liang.

"Chief, please don't tease me."

She lowered her voice, her breath carrying a hint of warmth.

"We fox-kin are naturally drawn to the strong."

"You are like the sun in the dark night, and my clanswomen are like moths to a flame."

"They cannot control themselves; they want to be near you, to feel your light and heat. This is their way of expressing loyalty and love."

She paused, her gaze becoming bolder and more direct:

"Of course... if their behavior has troubled their sisters, it is because of my lack of discipline."

"I am willing... to accept any punishment."

As she spoke, she leaned forward another half-inch, her fullness nearly touching Wu Liang's chest.

Her fluffy tail, whether intentionally or not, gently wrapped around Wu Liang's calf.

"Punishment won't be necessary."

Wu Liang reached out, grabbed Yaduo's waist, and pulled her forcefully toward him.

Yaduo gave a small cry of surprise as she crashed into Wu Liang's embrace.

She could clearly feel the man's burning body temperature and muscles as hard as iron. A strong masculine aura washed over her, instantly making her legs weak and her heart race.

"However, since you, the Clan Leader, can't manage them properly..."

Wu Liang lowered his head.

"Then I'll just have to... personally discipline their Clan Leader."

Yaduo's body stiffened for a moment before completely softening.

She looked up, her cheeks flushed and her eyes hazy as she gazed at Wu Liang, her voice like a sleep-talker's:

"I... obey..."

However, just as Wu Liang was preparing to carry Yaduo into the room, a cold voice filled with the scent of gunpowder came from nearby.

"Chief, it's so late. Are you still discussing important Tribe matters with Clan Leader Ya Duo?"

Wu Liang and Yaduo turned to look at the same time.

They saw Ignis standing prettily in the shadows with her arms crossed.

Her fiery red hair fluttered in the night wind, and her sharp eyes were fixed intently on Wu Liang's hand resting on Yaduo's waist.

Behind her, Akomann stood expressionless.

Although she didn't speak, her 'do not approach' aura was even more oppressive than Ignis's words.

Yaduo's expression changed slightly, but she quickly regained her charming smile.

She gently slipped out of Wu Liang's arms and gave a slight bow to Ignis and Akomann.

"Commander Ignis, Commander Akomann, you've both misunderstood. I was merely reporting some clan matters to the Chief."

"Is that so?"

Ignis sneered.

"Does reporting matters require reporting them into his arms? Clan Leader Ya Duo, the customs of your fox-kin are truly special."

The smell of gunpowder instantly filled the air.

Wu Liang frowned slightly.

He knew that if he didn't resolve this issue, his backyard would truly catch fire.

None of these women were easy to deal with.

He looked at the three women before him: one explosive and fierce, one cold as frost, and one charming as a demon.

He suddenly felt a bit of a headache.

"Alright, don't just stand there."

Wu Liang spoke, his voice carrying authority.

"Yaduo, didn't you have a report? Ignis, Akomann, as military commanders, you two come in and listen as well."

With that, Wu Liang turned and entered the room.

Ignis and Akomann exchanged a glance and followed him in.

Yaduo was last, swaying her hips as she followed gracefully.

Wu Liang sat boldly in the main seat, the tiger-skin chair beneath him adding to his imposing presence.

"Come then, begin the report."

Yaduo gave a charming smile: "Then I shall begin."

Waves of moans and cries filled the air, the lingering sounds echoing for a long time.

Tonight was destined to be a sleepless night.

Over the next few days, Wu Liang pushed aside unnecessary tasks and began to inspect the work of his various ladies in turn.

First, he went to Suina's Military Workshop to provide key revision suggestions for the steam engine blueprints.

Then he went to Florgloria's logistics department to plan supply points along the railway line with her. The voluptuous wife's face was always filled with a satisfied and happy smile.

At Sa Lan's Scout Battalion, Wu Liang rode horses with her through the forest and competed in archery, making this valiant woman laugh repeatedly.

In the evenings, he returned to Wei Xian's place to have dinner and walk with her and the child, telling them fairy tales from Earth.

Of course, he didn't forget the other women, spreading his favors equally among them.

That night, after finishing all his work, Wu Liang stretched, feeling somewhat exhausted.

Looking out at the brightly lit Tribe with its many houses and orderly streets, a sense of proud satisfaction welled up within him.

All of this was his.

This land, these people, these women... they all belonged to him alone.

Just as he was about to rest, a light sound of footsteps came from outside the tent.

"Chief, it's me, Suina."

Wu Liang was somewhat surprised. Why was this workaholic looking for him so late?

"Come in."

The curtain was lifted, and Suina rushed in.

She held a massive blueprint in her hands, her face carrying a near-fanatical excitement.

"Wu Liang! Look quickly!"

"Based on those new ideas you gave me, I've designed something completely new!"

She spread the blueprint on the table, pointing it out to Wu Liang like a prized treasure.

Wu Liang leaned in to look, and his gaze instantly froze.

Wasn't this the prototype of a Maxim machine gun?

Drawn on the blueprint was a killing machine with an extremely complex structure composed of countless gears, levers, and pipes.

Beside it was a cross-section diagram labeled with 'water-cooling jacket' and 'canvas ammo belt'.

This was clearly the design for a water-cooled heavy machine gun!

"I call it the Automatic Rapid-Fire Water-Cooled Heavy Machine Gun!"

Suina said excitedly.

"As long as our seamless steel pipe technology makes another breakthrough, I'm confident I can build it!"

"When the time comes, lining up a row of these things can lock down an entire front line! Any enemy who dares to charge will be turned into minced meat under its fury!"

Wu Liang looked at the blueprint, then at the woman beside him whose chest was heaving with excitement, his heart filled with grand ambitions.

With this thing, let alone heavy knights—even if a dragon came, it would be riddled like a sieve!

He pulled Suina into his arms and laughed loudly: "Good! Excellent work!"

"Don't worry, I guarantee that within half a month, the seamless steel pipes you need will be manufactured!"
