Chapter 302 - 302

Chapter 302: Damn Connections

A flash of spiritual light shot straight up, arriving later but catching up to the already distant Prophecy Fish, merging into its body.

The Prophecy Fish was completely unaware of all this, still excitedly driving its fish tank, crashing through the cosmos.

"Stop!"

After an unknown period, when the Prophecy Fisharrived in the Milky Way Galaxy, its path was directly blocked by a spaceship.

This spaceship was very small, appearing delicate yet simple overall.

It had two large lights on it, though their purpose was unknown.

A person resembling Ultraman blocked the Prophecy Fish's path, his expression serious.

"What's wrong?"

The Prophecy Fish was a bit bewildered at having its path blocked.

He was used to throwing his weight around on Beerus's planet; besides Whis and Beerus, every other creature was like a little brother to him.

There was no helping it; his abilities were special.

But this person in front of him looked a little familiar.

"You are?"

"I am Jaco of the Galactic Patrol. You have violated Galactic Patrol Rule 10086: Speeding."

Huh?

The Prophecy Fish was dumbfounded.

Speeding?

What kind of obscure term was that?

The universe is so vast, what business is it of yours?

The Prophecy Fish was about to put his hands on his hips and loudly retort, but then a thought struck him, and he suddenly remembered that such an organization did exist in the universe, and it had been around for a very long time.

It was said that during Beerus's era, the universe was chaotic, and Beerus himself had supposedly taken the lead, joining forces with the Supreme Kaiat the time to establish the organization.

However, this was just a rumor, and Lord Beerushad never mentioned it.

His prophetic abilities hadn't predicted it either.

So it didn't count.

But that wasn't the problem; the problem was, how had he been speeding?

Jaco pulled out a small notebook and said calmly, "According to the rules, no creature in the universe can exceed the speed of light, except for spaceships of specific races."

"You are not among them, so, state your name, your affiliation, where you live, and who lives with you."

The Prophecy Fish was stunned and honestly replied, "My name is Prophecy Fish, I have no affiliation, I live on Beerus's planet, and as for family, I guess Whis and Beerus count."

Jaco!

He was drenched in cold sweat.

Fake.

How did he run into this living ancestor?

No, just because he said Beerus's planet doesn't mean it is Beerus's planet.

Although not many people knew the Destroyer God's name, ancient powers and planets all knew his name and kept it as a top secret.

"Ahem, evidence? You say Beerus is your guardian, I need proof."

"Proof, huh?"

The Prophecy Fish fell silent, then a light bulb went off, and he quickly pulled out a cookbook: "Look, this is Lord Beerus's signature."

Jaco: "..."

"Also, this fish tank of mine was personally crafted by Lord Beerus."

Jaco: "..."

He looked at the Prophecy Fish with a complex expression. If what he said was true, then this guy had an extraordinary background.

Moreover, the speed of the fish tank was indeed incredible, vaguely giving the impression of exceeding the speed of light.

Even if this guy wasn't Beerus's offspring, he was still the descendant of an extraordinary power.

After some thought, Jaco still made the Prophecy Fish sign the ticket.

As for whether to pursue this, well, he'd better ask his superior first.

"By the way, where are you going?"

"To Earth."

Earth?

Jaco was suspicious. Why did that name sound so familiar? Oh right, wasn't Tights from Earth?

He seemed to have brought her out himself, and now she was probably vacationing in some corner of the universe.

She was the most comfortable one.

Jaco felt full of resentment when he thought of Tights.

"Go on, go on. Oh, and while you're at it, drop by Bulma's house to let them know you're safe. That Tights is off vacationing somewhere now."

"Alright."

The Prophecy Fish was very well-behaved.

He might throw his weight around on Beerus's planet, but he wouldn't tarnish the Destroyer God's reputation outside.

This was a fundamental principle of being a fish.

Jaco nodded, smiling and waving his hand: "Go ahead, just slow down a bit."

The Prophecy Fish was speechless.

Going slowly would make it very difficult to reach Earth.

It seemed he could only continue with spatial jumps.

The Prophecy Fish sighed. He had thought he'd arrived in the Milky Way Galaxy and wanted to enjoy the scenery, but he got caught red-handed.

How unlucky.

"I'm going."

The Prophecy Fish slapped his fish tank, and with a flash, disappeared from Jaco's sight.

Jaco's expression froze.

Damn!

Spatial jump.

What kind of treasure was this?

Such a small fish tank, yet it had so many functions.

Oh my goodness.

Could this really be Beerus's fish?

He silently wiped away cold sweat, glad he hadn't made things difficult for him.

Wait a minute.

Earth?

Was there anything special about this planet that he kept encountering it?

"Hmm, I'll make time to visit Earth someday soon."

Jaco piloted his spaceship, continuing his patrol.

He was a member of the Galactic Search Team, and he still needed to keep an eye on things in the Milky Way Galaxy.

As an elite, he was very busy.

"Sigh, when will someone finally deal with the scourge of space pirates like Frieza? He's such a pain."

That guy completely exploited loopholes in the interstellar law enforcement rules, acting lawlessly yet being untouchable.

"Everyone sweeps their own doorstep; it has nothing to do with me, an elite. Continue patrolling."

Jaco quietly departed.

He planned to visit Earth when he had a break... "Hahaha, I've arrived! Spatial jumps are truly great. If only I had the power to open a spatial portal, that would be even more perfect!"

"Earth, delicious food."

The Prophecy Fish entered Earth, wanting to see if his final prophecy had been wrong.

If not, then his life should be saved.

At least his status would be preserved.

"Wow, so much delicious food!"

The moment the Prophecy Fish arrived on Earth, he momentarily thought he had come to a food paradise.

"What is this?"

"Stir-fried noodles, unique to Zhonghuajia?"

What did that mean?

Walking along, many foods had this label, and the Prophecy Fish was full of questions.

Was it a family?

Then this family could be called a food paradise.

Besides that, there were countless other foods, all very delicious.

The Prophecy Fish hadn't eaten, but he knew they tasted good just by looking.

Slurp!

Slurp!

The Prophecy Fish swallowed his saliva.

No need to look further; if Lord Beerus came here, he would definitely love this place.

Now, he just needed to do some reconnaissance.

But, he had no money.

The Prophecy Fish roared internally with indignation.

"Oh, what a strange fish."

Just then, a shadow covered the sunlight. The Prophecy Fish mechanically looked up to see a cute girl squatting down, picking up its fish tank, and excitedly saying, "Was it abandoned by someone?"

"You look very hungry. I'll get you some fish food to eat."

"Little guy, from now on you'll be with me. Try to be as amazing as Nine-Tailed Kurama and IchibiShukaku!"

The Prophecy Fish roared: "I am not a pet!"

Also,

What Kurama, what Shukaku, what Ichibi and Nine-Tailed?

Bulma carried the Prophecy Fish home, showing it off to her parents with a beaming smile.

The Prophecy Fish: "..."

Its expression perfectly conveyed what it meant to be utterly resigned to its fate...
