Part 1: Fate
After the woman's shocked reaction, Haruto asked about it.
But then suddenly, the woman became normal.
Like nothing had happened.
"Uhh… what do you mean?" the woman asked.
"What did you find in my spirit?" Haruto asked.
"Oh, well, your spirit is fine. Nothing is wrong," the woman said.
"Are you sure?" Haruto asked.
"Of course," the woman said.
"Okay," Haruto said.
Haruto left the place.
"Although the woman says everything is fine…"
"But her expression did not tell lies."
"Maybe because of that evil entity, she forgot about that entity."
"Because she was clearly shocked there."
"So it might be that that entity made her forget that memory."
"That is why she does not know."
Haruto thought.
Now Haruto knew that some kind of entity was attached to him.
But for now, Haruto could not do anything.
So Haruto decided to start the hunt from this night.
Haruto got an idea.
He went back to his rental room.
He told Ryuk and Marin to clean trash at night so they could earn some money.
But Ryuk asked where his money had gone.
Haruto lied and said that he had given the money to Leo, and Leo had mistakenly lost all of it.
Ryuk became very frustrated at Leo.
But for now, Ryuk and Marin agreed.
Haruto went out of his room.
Then he used his staff.
Haruto tried to make a new type of attack.
Haruto first used fire ball.
Then he created a stone drill inside that fire ball.
Because of that, the fire ball became trapped inside the stone drill.
Haruto used lightning effect on the stone drill.
He also used windstuck ritual to spin it extremely fast.
It created friction.
Haruto launched that drill toward a tree.
When it hit the tree—
Boom.
A hole was blasted through the tree, and a powerful burst exploded there.
Haruto named it Machine Drill.
Leo was also with Haruto.
Leo became very excited.
Haruto looked at Leo.
"Tonight, the hunt will begin."
Haruto and Leo then went to a store.
Haruto bought two items.
One ritual pen.
It was a ritual tool used to draw ritual spells and circles.
He also bought twenty lam papers.
Those papers were used for casting rituals.
The pen cost 1 Reo and 25 Peny.
The lam papers cost 10 Reo.
50 Peny for each paper.
Haruto also learned a special teleport-type ritual where he could teleport objects.
Now Haruto was ready for the hunt.
"Isn't the spy going to come in the evening?" Leo asked.
"We are not going today," Haruto said.
"Why?" Leo asked.
"If we go tomorrow, then tomorrow's information will be better," Haruto said.
Haruto looked at a poster.
He saw a bounty.
The bounty was 500 Reo.
"It is our target now," Haruto said.
