Chapter 25 - CHAPTER 30: DELUSIONAL K-DRAMA HOURS

JAY-JAY POV

Nobody was sleeping.

Not even close.

The classroom was dim now, blankets everywhere, mattresses spread across the floor while Section E slowly lost the last bit of sanity they had left.

Drew was snoring.

Felix and Blaster were whisper-fighting.

Cin still had energy for absolutely no reason.

And Keifer—

Keifer was still staring at me every few seconds like he forgot how to act normal.

Which was exactly why I grabbed my phone.

I was done dealing with him.

I put my AirPods in immediately, wrapped my blanket around myself, and opened a romance K-drama.

Peace.

Finally.

The second the intro started playing in my ears, I completely disappeared into my own world.

And honestly?

I forgot Section E existed.

The male lead appeared on screen in dramatic slow motion.

Black coat.

Rain.

Cold expression.

I blinked once.

Then quietly whispered to myself—

"Oh my God, he's so fine."

Unfortunately…

I forgot one important thing.

Section E could still see my reactions.

Cin narrowed his eyes suspiciously from across the mattress.

"…Why is she smiling at her phone like that?"

David looked over too.

"She's watching romance again."

I ignored all of them peacefully.

On screen, the female lead accidentally grabbed the male lead's hand.

I kicked my blanket slightly in excitement.

"AWWWW."

The room went silent.

Then exploded.

"BRO LOOK AT HER."

"SHE'S GONE."

"DELUSIONAL."

I pulled one AirPod out slowly.

"What?"

Rory pointed aggressively.

"You're literally giggling at your screen."

"I am not."

"You just kicked your feet."

Traitors.

Absolute traitors.

I rolled my eyes and put my AirPod back in.

Then continued watching dramatically.

On screen, the male lead pulled the girl closer protectively during an argument scene.

I stared emotionally.

My hand automatically covered my mouth.

"Ohhhhh…"

Someone suddenly snatched one AirPod out of my ear.

I gasped loudly.

"HEY—"

Keifer.

Of course it was Keifer.

He held the AirPod casually while sitting beside my mattress now.

Way too close.

I glared instantly.

"Give it back."

Instead of answering, he listened for one second.

Then raised an eyebrow.

"…You're watching this instead of forgiving me?"

The boys lost their minds immediately.

"HE'S JEALOUS OF A K-DRAMA GUY."

"THIS IS INSANE."

I grabbed for my AirPod, but Keifer leaned back easily with a smirk.

"No seriously," he said. "What does he have that I don't?"

I stared at him in disbelief.

"You cannot be serious."

"He's prettier than you," Cin answered helpfully.

Keifer threw a pillow directly at his face without looking.

Everyone screamed laughing.

Meanwhile Yuri sat nearby watching everything calmly, one arm resting behind him.

Unlike Keifer, Yuri wasn't teasing.

He just looked amused.

"You brought this on yourself," Yuri told me quietly.

"I was literally minding my business."

Keifer finally handed my AirPod back.

But not before leaning closer slightly.

Too close.

Close enough to make me nervous again.

"This drama got you smiling more than I do."

I looked away immediately.

"Good."

"Liar."

My face heated up instantly.

I hated how easily he noticed things.

On screen, the male lead tucked the girl's hair behind her ear before confessing dramatically.

I froze emotionally.

Then whispered quietly to myself—

"JUST KISS HER ALREADY."

Dead silence.

I slowly looked up.

The entire section was staring at me again.

Denzel looked horrified.

"She forgot we existed."

Cin pointed dramatically.

"She's emotionally invested."

"I hate all of you."

Keifer laughed softly beside me.

Then casually rested his arm behind me against the wall.

Not touching me.

But close enough to completely ruin my ability to focus.

"You'd react like that if I confessed too?"

I choked immediately.

"WHAT?!"

The classroom exploded.

"BROOOOO."

"HE NEVER STOPS."

"KEIFER IS ACTUALLY CRAZY."

Meanwhile Keifer looked completely relaxed.

Like making me nervous was the easiest thing in the world.

I pointed at him aggressively.

"You are the reason I have stress."

"But you keep looking at me."

I froze.

Again.

Because annoyingly enough—

he was right.

Every single time.

And Keifer knew it too.

That stupid smug smile proved it.

Yuri sighed beside us tiredly.

"You two are never surviving adulthood."

But honestly?

At this point…

he was probably right.
