Jazz moved quickly toward the nearest monkey, his speed was impressive.
It was true that the monkeys were only at 'Eyes' level, but they were stronger than him, one wrong move could mean a fatal injury, or even death.
Plus, they were intelligent monkeys.
Jazz didn't consider himself to be in a test, it was a life or death fight.
'How did you do, brother?' Jazz thought of Deebt for a moment.
Jazz arrived beside the flustered monkey and attacked the lower left side of its ribcage with his right fist.
Baam.
It was as if he'd hit a wall, the impact wasn't significant, but Jazz wasn't looking for impact, he just wanted to distract the monkey for a moment from its other vital areas.
Its bones were hard, and the muscles around the neck and shoulders weren't something that could be easily penetrated or broken by human fists.
Fortunately, the monkey tried to retaliate out of instinct and rage.
In that moment, Jazz attacked the monkey's abdomen.
Although it was full of powerful muscles, it was vulnerable due to its lack of bone structure.
Jazz targeted a vital point: the navel.
He thrust his hand forcefully into the giant monkey's navel, grabbed as much of the intestines as his hand could hold, and yanked hard.
Splash.
The peritoneum was torn apart by the force.
Like an electric shock, intense pain overwhelmed the giant monkey's body.
Heavy bleeding.
The monkey didn't die immediately, but he had only two or three minutes left at most.
"You're lucky I didn't hit the main artery." Jazz stepped back, then watched the monkey fall.
The other monkeys were approaching quickly, but this scene completely shocked them.
Fear?
A natural instinct in every living creature.
Who among us wouldn't be afraid if a hand were to pierce their navel and pull out their intestines?
That's how some of the monkeys felt, while others did not.
Although many of them attacked all at once, some remained behind.
They were the smartest and most dangerous.
'This is like a war of attrition.' Jazz watched all the changes.
He approached quickly once more, but…
The monkey retreated backward.
Jazz kept up the attack despite that.
The monkey defended his stomach with both hands.
But Jazz paid no attention to the monkey and moved toward the next one behind it.
Moving on all fours, it was fast and had strong muscles in its hands and feet.
Charging toward Jazz like a bull.
Jazz didn't back down but jumped to the right, moving away from the oncoming monkey's path with force.
At that moment, a monkey that had been coming from the direction Jazz had jumped to attacked.
It swung its right fist with force toward Jazz's body.
Whoosh.
Jazz turned left and retreated forcefully, the attack nearly hit him.
'I have one solution.'Jazz thought quickly.
The monkeys surrounded him on all sides, some attacked him, but others stood still.
Bam, splash, boom.
As they attacked him, he countered their attack, using his strikes to make them hit each other, creating chaos and trying to make them fight amongst themselves.
The plan failed, they were clever monkeys, and getting them to hit each other was difficult.
There was no other way but to push deeper into their midst.
Fifteen monkeys, all with brute strength and high agility, how could Jazz win through sheer strength?
Right, left, front, back.
The monkeys surrounded him.
It's true that five of them weren't paying attention and were a little farther away from the rest of the monkeys gathered around Jazz, but they were still a threat, because they were the smartest.
The monkeys struck with their fists, and some tried to bite with their massive jaws.
Jazz stood out for his small size compared to them, this allowed him to step back at exactly the right moment.
One of the monkeys grabbed Jazz's left foot and threw him forcefully toward the wall.
Baamm.
Haah, hoo, haah.
The monkey looked pleased with what he had accomplished.
Jazz got up.
At the last moment before hitting the wall, he changed his angle so his ribs wouldn't get hurt and took the full brunt of the impact on his back.
After all, his back was like a shield, so it could withstand damage better than any other part of his body.
"Haa, haaaa."
He was breathing heavily at first, but then he got his breathing under control again, his eyes were fixed on the monkeys approaching him.
He removed his palm tree striped shirt and held it up, perfect, well defined muscles were hidden beneath the shirt.
Jazz quickly advanced toward the approaching monkeys, then threw his shirt at the first monkey in the front.
Bam, bam.
Two punches to the monkey's eyes, then a two step retreat to his right, that's how he moved away from the monkey approaching from the right of the one who'd taken the two punches to the eyes.
The monkey changed position and spun quickly to close in on him.
Jazz wasted no time and leaped onto the monkey who was trying to remove the shirt, with speed and agility.
Baam, baaa.
Jazz punched both of its eyes at the same time, the monkey became even more flustered and waved its arms, trying to push Jazz away, but to no avail.
He swatted at two other monkeys that were approaching them, which caused a bit of chaos among the monkeys.
Jazz didn't lose his composure, he left things as they were and attacked the monkeys that had been struck by the blind monkey, there were three of them.
And more crazed monkeys were approaching.
Jazz chose his target and attacked another vulnerable spot, a direct punch to the side of the head.
Then Jazz dodged the incoming punch aimed at his body to his left, positioning himself where the monkey would find it difficult to counter, the right side.
The monkey quickly swung his right arm back with force to push Jazz away.
Unfortunately, it was too late, Jazz had moved away from it, and another monkey had approached Jazz's position, taking the blow head on.
No matter how intelligent monkeys are, the one that attacked was foolish.
How could a mere monkey outsmart a human in terms of intelligence and cunning?
It's true that animals amaze humans with their clever and unpredictable behavior, but so what?
Just an animal, after all.
Chaos erupted as the monkeys fought among themselves, after all, instinct was king, and no one can refuse the king's commands.
The monkey that had gouged out Jazz's eyes died in the midst of the conflict.
Then another monkey died, struck directly on the left side of its skull, that was the weakest spot on the head.
The five distant monkeys watched the scene, they paid no attention to it, but one of them looked toward Jazz, who had moved away from the conflict.
Jazz paid no mind to its stare, but he sensed danger from the five.
'They are the smartest. I now understand why that happened at sunset. This species must be completely crushed.' Jazz's thoughts were like fire, burning intensely.
From a distance, the students looked at Jazz, covered in blood, his muscles were monstrous for a human.
Perfect and unyielding, he was strong, a beast.
"Do you believe what you're seeing?" one of the students spoke with a look of disbelief.
"A beast, and savage." another replied.
"Terrifying. Did you see how he ripped out the guts? But I don't think he can win."
"Even if you say that, the real danger is those five monkeys who haven't moved a muscle, the others have fallen into the chaos he created."
"What if he had his weapon?"
"We can't tell, this guy is really strong."
The discussion was heated among the students, they were shocked, they hadn't expected there to be a monster among them.
The fighting between the monkeys continued, and another one died under the foot of one of them.
He watched the five monkeys coldly, then one of them reacted and roared with anger and power, like an earthquake or thunder from the sky, all the monkeys stopped fighting and lowered their heads.
The roaring monkey stepped forward, Jazz looked at him with confusion.
He didn't move quickly, but with extreme calm.
Like a predator.
Jazz didn't care, he seized the opportunity and approached one of the trembling monkeys.
As soon as he reached it, the monkey attacked him, but it was too late, Jazz had already struck it on one of its right ribs, which appeared to have been broken in the brawl.
Bam, bam.
One punch followed another, with speed and force, Jazz's hand pierced the ribcage near the fifth rib, then ripped out a large portion of the liver.
Haaa, baaaah.
The monkey fell from the blow, unable to move, then lost consciousness.
It wouldn't be long before he died.
The monkey approached the other monkeys, who were still in shock from what had happened during the few seconds they had trembled at his growl.
But what the strong monkey did was unexpected.
Bakhh.
With a powerful blow, he crushed the ribcage near the heart of the monkey closest to him who had tried to attack Jazz.
The monkey fell heavily to the ground.
Then, in a completely unnatural move, the monkey growled slightly, and all the monkeys backed away from Jazz.
Jazz couldn't believe his eyes, what had just happened was serious.
This monkey was the strongest among them all, and in one way or another, despite being only at the 'Eyes' level, he was strong enough to be a leader.
The other four shared the leadership with him, but he was slightly superior to them, this made him the de facto leader of the group.
One against one.
A cunning human and an intelligent beast.
'A battle for dominance? Has this monkey acknowledged me as a worthy opponent?'
The veins on Jazz's forehead were throbbing.
"Are you mocking me, you monkey? Do you think we're the same kind?" Jazz spoke forcefully, staring into the monkey's eyes, only three meters separated them.
Without hesitation, as soon as the monkey was close enough to attack, it swung its powerful fist toward Jazz's feet.
Jazz quickly stepped back to avoid the attack, then lunged toward the monkey.
None of the other monkeys intervened, this was a battle for dominance.
Bam.
The monkey attacked again, but Jazz dodged as it closed in further.
Jazz got close enough to the monkey's body, but he didn't attack, the monkey had pulled his hand back and was about to strike him with his elbow.
Jazz ducked, then attacked again.
Baaah.
Blood and mucus flowed from the giant monkey's nose.
