I had officially stopped processing reality somewhere between the third royal trumpet and the moment flower petals started falling from the ceiling.
"I THINK THE BUILDING IS BLESSING YOU." Riko whispered emotionally.
"The petals are released mechanically." Ben corrected.
"I REJECT LOGIC."Riko said.
"You reject everything."Ben said.
"I ACCEPT LOVE."Riko said.
"You are crying." Leo added.
"I AM EXPERIENCING MAJESTIC EMOTIONS." Riko said.
"You started crying at the musicians."Leo said.
"THEY WERE PASSIONATE."Riko said.
The cathedral was enormous, no, enormous wasn't enough. It looked like someone took every royal fantasy ever created and forced it into existence through excessive wealth and dangerous ambition.
