Leo woke up a few hours later feeling refreshed. Due to his increased stats, he didn't need much sleep.
'That felt pretty good.'
He stood while stretching more out of habit than necessity.
'What should I do today?'
It had already stopped raining, so he really didn't need to stay inside the cave.
As he looked around, he could see that some wolves had already gone out.
'Well, since I can't really break these bones, maybe it's time I go hunting.'
Leo thought as he stared at the pile of the bear's bones.
'I can also test my skills out.'
The more he thought about it, the more he felt the idea was perfect.
'Now that I think about it, my balls haven't been crushed since I arrived. This must be a sign. It's time to take the first step towards glory.'

'Hm, what was that?'
Leo looked around, confused. He had felt something shift for a second there as the world had stopped.
'Maybe I'm imagining things.'
Although he felt slight unease, he didn't dwell on it.
'Let's just go hunting.'
He picked out his weapons and got out of the cave.
As he passed by the wolves, the unease still lingered, no matter how hard he tried to ignore it.
"What am I even thinking. Nothing seems out of place," Leo muttered while looking around. "Why, though, does it feel like something is off?"
"Yeah, it's just me overthinking everything is normal .."
Leo suddenly froze.
'Why am I dismissing it so casually? Wait, what exactly am I dismissing again?
Leo clutched his head, trying to remember, but the more he tried, the more the earlier feeling became more distant until it disappeared completely.
'Am I forgetting something?'
Leo was confused. One second, he was deeper in the cave, and now he was almost at the exit.
'Oh Right l decided to go hunting. I wonder why I blacked out for a second there. Anyways, let's get moving.'
He then dashed out as if everything was normal.
'What exactly should I hunt. Maybe a rabbit or a deer.'
Leo was testing out his limits as he looked around for prey.
'I already have enough food so that shouldn't worry me much, so I just need something small to make my needles.'
As if remembering something, Leo stopped. His face was a bit sour.
'Right, what exactly am I gonna use to sew with. How could I forget that?'
Although Leo knew some basic survival skills, he wasn't an expert.
'How are threads even made? I just know it comes from fiber, but I don't think I can find anything resembling a pyrethrum here.'He was now confused about what to do.
'It seems I'm gonna be naked for a while unless I find a rubber tree or a cedar tree.'
With his plans foiled, Leo decided to fight whatever creature he encountered to test his skills.
As he kept moving, Leo suddenly caught the scent of something sweet. Although he tried ignoring it, the smell got even stronger.
He didn't even realize when he started moving towards its direction.
When he finally realized what he was doing, he tried to stop, but his legs moved forward unconsciously.
'Shit, I can't stop.'
Leo knew there was nothing good waiting for him at the end of this path.
'What the fuck is up with my luck lately?'
As he kept getting closer, the scent got even stronger, and his mind felt sluggish.
'Yeah, this isn't gonna end well.'
The vegetation in the area was more scarce, with fewer trees in the area.
Leo was now moving as if possessed. His body moved forward at full speed regardless of injuries incurred.
'Fuck, get a grip.'
As that thought continuously echoed in his mind, a sudden pressure pressed down on his entire body as his mind cleared, making him crash straight into a tree as he lost control of his body.
With his mind clear, Leo could now think properly.
He was covered in wounds, but those were rapidly healing with small flames covering his injuries.
Although Leo was surprised by the flames, he didn't linger for a second in the area. He could already feel his mind being eroded once again.
He started running back the way he came.
As he moved, Leo could now make out his surroundings clearly.
The place was littered with the bodies of animals whose stomachs were bloated. Their bodies were almost drained dry, but they were still alive. The air was also filled with a pink fog.
'Yeah, I really didn't sign up for pregnancy.'
As he continued moving further, the scent's effects wore off faster.
Just as he was about to exit the fog, he felt the mana beneath him move. Without thinking, Leo dove forward as pink tentacles shot out from the ground where he had been standing.
'Shit, I heard from a friend that these things are usually found in those adult manga that I've never read or seen.'
The tentacles, as if realizing it missed their prey, froze for a second and then slowly turned towards Leo.
'Of course it can sense me, how lucky.'
The tentacles shot forward at astonishing speed.
Leo's eyes shrank as he narrowly dodged the barrage of tentacles.
'They are also fast. Well, you can fuck me at this point.'
The tentacles crushed down on where he had been standing, sending debris and dirt flying.
Leo continued moving back as he tried to exit the fog. He knew he wasn't very far from the fog border.
But the tentacles didn't give him time to ponder as they sprang out once more.
Leo couldn't see them clearly, but he could feel the mana in the air shifting whenever they attacked.
Leo continued dodging as he slowly moved back until he finally got out of the fog.
The tentacles stopped right at the edge. After staying for a while, they slowly retracted back into the ground.
Leo let out a sigh of relief as he relaxed his muscles.
'That was close.'
He almost became an eternal womb. The thought sent shivers down Leo's spine as he stared at the fog. He didn't know what creature lay in the middle of the fog, but he was sure it was something he couldn't deal with, even if he wanted to.
Leo clenched his fist tightly. Then turned away from the fog and walked away.
'I'm gonna get payback for that mr molester.'
