"But what if harmony doesn't mean all five have to be different?" I pressed, trying to guide them without being obvious. "What if it means the five points need to be in balance, but the source doesn't matter?"
Malachi's eyes sharpened, and I could see him working through the logic. "You're saying we could use the same element on multiple pedestals?"
"Maybe?" I said. "I don't know, I'm just thinking out loud here."
"No, wait, she might be onto something," Finn said, moving to stand between the earth and air pedestals. "What if I channel my magic into both of these at the same time? Split my power between two points?"
"That would require incredible control," Lyra said doubtfully. "And even if you could do it, we'd still be missing the lightning pedestal."
