Back at Victor's mansion, inside Victor's laboratory.
Jack and Victor were preparing to finish the artifact ring previously mentioned.
On the floor was a white high-quality paper that was more akin to a carpet; on it, a circle at the top with a ring inside it, below a long list of statements written in small text.
Victor was focused; he kept reading the statements over and over again while holding a thick sheet of paper in his hand.
After a while, he took the thick sheet of paper, which was the previously mentioned Drafting Paper that could correct errors and unforeseen consequences, and held it above the big sheet of paper.
The paper began to float and rise up towards the ceiling; it generated light so as to light up the paper below, and it began reading the huge carpet-sized paper and then returned to Victor.
Jack walked beside Victor to read the results.
On it was written:
"There are no new Statements that could improve the current version.
Noticeable possibly unforeseen effects are:

Victor pressed the '>' next to the increased weight. Text appeared a bit offset from the 'Increased Weight':
"Due to muscle mass and bone density, weight will be increased."
"All of the side effects are as expected." —Jack
"I'll check out the other effects as well, just in case." —Victor
Victor pressed a symbol '⌄' in the bottom left side of the Drafting paper; the text from before dissipated and new text replaced it.

Other Effects, possibly intended:
Due to differences in Male and Female genders, the effects of the ring will differ.
Personal consciously desired body type preferences will change how the body will be changed.
Differences include:
Increased hormonal production depending on gender.
Male bodies are prone to developing faces and bodies with highly masculine traits.
Female bodies are prone to developing faces and bodies with highly feminine traits.
Flexibility increases for Female Gender.
Increased sexual drive.
The body will begin releasing pheromones, making the user attract or influence people more easily.
If the user is having a child, the gender of it will be the same as the user.
Only works with Humans.
Increased energy, stamina, and focus."
The list went on, as Victor scrolled up and down the paper, the text disappearing and appearing like a digital tablet.
"I'll transfer those effects onto a normal paper; read them." —Victor
"Thank you." —Jack
Jack began to read it.
What are those gender-specific effects? I never even thought about the other gender using it.
And what are those pheromone effects? Is Victor implying something?
"Can we remove the increased..." Jack said quietly, "...sexual drive?"
"Unfortunately not. If it's removed, there is a chance that you will become impotent." —Victor
"Never mind then." —Jack
I don't wanna be a 'forever alone' guy!
"If there is nothing else, then you can begin." —Victor
Jack crouched down and looked at the paper. He was nervous; his chest felt strange with expectation and worry.
This wasn't like before; he fully understood the risks of making an artifact with instability.
Even if he got confirmation from a veteran in the area like Victor, he was still hesitant.
He took the hand that wore the Instability Storage ring and placed it on the paper.
He followed the desire the same way as casting spells was, which was to state the desire first, then apply energy, only that instead of energy it was instability.
Let what is written on this paper come true.
Allow instability inside the ring out.
At that moment, all of the instability of the ring left as it moved towards the ring at the center of the paper, which was inside a circle.
The pressure could be felt from a distance; from an outsider's perspective, that was all that could be felt, as no other visible distortions apart from the ring feeling more resilient happened.
Almost as soon as it began, it was over, and all the instability inside the Instability Storage ring was gone.
"Congratulations," Victor tapped Jack's shoulder. "This is the first proper artifact you ever made."
"This is it?" —Jack
"It's... underwhelming." —Jack
"As all things related to solving Instability should be." —Victor
