Chapter 54 - Chapter 52: The First Thread

Inside the rift, the laws of physics died. Fang Yuan felt his "World Breaker" body—a vessel of high-density matter—start to liquefy. His atoms, once packed tighter than a neutron star, began to vibrate at a frequency that no longer belonged to the third dimension.

"System," Fang Yuan hissed, his voice echoing in three different timelines simultaneously. "The pressure... it's trying to erase me."

[Warning: Void Tribulation detected. The universe is attempting to reject your presence. Consuming 'Reincarnation Essence' to anchor your existence.]

The golden light of Yue Xiao's sacrifice flared around him, acting as a tether to reality. While the rift tried to pull him apart, the essence held his soul together. Suddenly, the darkness of the vacuum didn't look like a void anymore. He saw it: the Aetheric Web.

To a World Breaker, space is empty. To a Weaver, space is a thick fabric of vibrating strings.

Fang Yuan reached out. He didn't grab the air; he grabbed a Fold. With a sharp tug, he pulled the distant coordinates of a neighboring solar system toward his current position. The sensation was like pulling a rug—the stars didn't move, but the distance between him and them ceased to exist.

He stepped out of the rift.

He was no longer standing on the dust of the Azure Sky Continent. He was floating in the cold orbit of Sol-Primus, a massive gas giant surrounded by twelve moons. Beneath him, a civilization of Rank 4 and 5 cultivators lived in blissful ignorance, unaware that their "God" had just arrived.

Fang Yuan looked at his hand. It was translucent, shimmering like a mirage. He willed himself to be "here," and his body solidified instantly. He willed himself to be "one second ago," and a phantom image of himself appeared behind him.

"The World Breaker smashes the wall," Fang Yuan whispered, a terrifying calm in his eyes. "The Weaver simply walks through the moment before the wall was built. My harvest has just expanded... to the stars."
