The crimson sky of Moon 9 didn't just darken; it shattered. A jagged, white rift tore through the atmosphere, smelling of ozone and dead stars. From the breach, a monolith of pulsating neutron-metal descended, landing with a silent thud that sent a gravitational ripple across the entire moon.
The doors of the monolith opened. The High Inquisitor stepped out.
He stood three meters tall, clad in armor that seemed to be made of frozen darkness, bordered by shifting white light. Three halos of rotating pulsars hovered behind his head, humming with a frequency that caused Kaelen's ears to bleed instantly.
"Disruption detected in Sector 4-B," the Inquisitor's voice rang out. It wasn't a voice, but a direct broadcast into the souls of everyone present. "The 'Chosen One' has been corrupted by an external virus. The 'Rebel' is a parasitic anomaly. Both units are marked for Deletion."
Kaelen, still in his monstrous Eclipse form, roared and lunged at the Inquisitor. He swung the Blade of Dawn with enough force to split a mountain.
The Inquisitor didn't even raise a weapon. He simply looked at Kaelen.
"NULLIFY."
In a split second, the violet-golden fire around Kaelen vanished. His wings shattered into grey dust. The Blade of Dawn, the "Holy Weapon" of prophecy, turned into a rusted piece of junk in his hand. Kaelen fell to his knees, his divine power erased as if it had never existed.
Zane, standing nearby, felt the shadow-dragon inside him shrivel in terror. The dragon, a creature of primal chaos, knew that it was facing its absolute antithesis: The Law.
"Wait..." Kaelen wheezed, looking up at the faceless visor of the Inquisitor. "I am the Hero... I was chosen by the heavens!"
"The heavens are a blueprint," the Inquisitor replied coldly, raising a finger that began to glow with a terrifying, white light. "And you are a faulty line of code. Re-formatting initiated."
