Chapter 78 - Chapter 76: The Glitch in Reality

As Lia's black, oily energy enveloped them, Kaelen and Zane didn't just join forces—their physical and spiritual forms began to melt. It was an agonizing, unnatural process. Gold fused with shadow; royal blood mixed with slave sweat.

The High Inquisitor's visor flickered. For the first time, his internal sensors failed to identify the target. "Warning: Unknown biological signature. Subject does not match any registered lifeform in Sector 4-B."
