Chapter 99 - Chapter 97: The Weaver’s Last Stand - The Soul-Supernova

The atmosphere in the Star-Core chamber fractured. Eron's milky-white eyes turned a violent, neon crimson as he realized the telepathic resonance between Fang Yuan and the Ancient Sentience. The parasitic vine of mana he had injected into Fang Yuan's back began to boil.

"You arrogant child!" Eron's voice was no longer a whisper; it was a shriek of a dying god. "I spent eons surviving the Abyss, weaving my survival out of the scraps of a billion souls! You think a mere Rank 2 can cast me aside like a broken needle?"

Eron didn't wait for Fang Yuan's Indigo Threads to strike. He performed the ultimate taboo of the Silver Nebula: "THE CONSTELLATION COLLAPSE."

He began to forcibly expand his own soul-core, turning his broken Rank 3 essence into a volatile singularity. The silver rags around him ignited with a cold, white fire. He wasn't trying to ascend anymore—he was trying to turn the entire sector into a graveyard, taking Fang Yuan and the Star-Core with him into eternal silence.

"If I cannot have the throne," Eron roared, his body beginning to crack like overheated porcelain, "then no one shall weave again! I will unmake this reality before you can even touch the Core!"

The pressure was immense. The walls of obsidian began to liquefy, and the "Gravity Sea" turned into a chaotic vortex. Fang Yuan felt the "Heroic Fragment" of Kaelen trembling in his palm, nearly being snatched away by the suction of Eron's self-destruction.

Fang Yuan's face remained a mask of frozen calculation. He saw the white fire approaching, felt his skin beginning to flake into stardust.

«...The fallen one offers an ending...» the voice of the Core echoed. «...Use him. Do not block the explosion. Weave it into the sequence. Turn his destruction into your bridge...»

Fang Yuan didn't retreat. Instead, he stepped toward the exploding Eron. His indigo threads, now blackened and frayed, didn't try to stop the supernova. They began to wrap around it, channeling the raw, destructive energy of a Rank 3 soul into the Star-Core itself.

"You want to end it, Eron?" Fang Yuan's voice was barely audible over the roar of the collapsing stars. "Then I will use your death to power my birth. Thank you for the sacrifice."
