Chapter 154 - Chapter 150: The Primordial Altar - The Return to Zero

The world was silent, save for the heavy breathing of Elia and the mechanical hum of Fang Yuan's alloyed chest. They stood in a clearing of a prehistoric jungle, surrounded by stone-age predators that watched from the shadows, sensing a power that defied their instincts.

"Why here?" Elia gasped, her phosphorescent skin glowing weakly. "This world has no mana-grid... no technology. We are in a graveyard of evolution."

"Exactly," Yuan replied, his Binary Heart radiating a cold, indigo light that carved a circle of dead grass around him. "In the Council's territory, the 'Law' is written by them. Here, the Law is written by the strongest lung and the sharpest claw. Here, I don't need to hide my Null-Logic."

He stepped toward her. Behind him, the Broken Spindle of Fate hovered, spinning with such speed it tore the very air into ribbons.

"The Primordial Spore inside you thrives on biological chaos," Yuan said, his face a mask of obsidian cruelty. "This primitive world will act as the 'Soil.' I will plant you in the heart of this planet, and as the Spore consumes the life-force of this world to grow, I will consume the Spore."

"You'll kill the entire planet!" Elia screamed, trying to summon her Hive-power, but the Null-Field of Yuan crushed her mana before it could manifest.

"A planet is a small price for a Nebula Weaver," Yuan whispered.

He slammed his hand into the ground. [TECHNIQUE: STELLAR SIPHON - PLANETARY ROOT]. Invisible threads of gravity shot from his fingers, piercing through the crust of the planet toward its core, using Elia as the "Conducting Needle."

[CONSUMING PRIMORDIAL SPORE... INTEGRATING PLANETARY BIOMASS]

The green sky began to darken as a thick, indigo mist started to leak from Yuan's pores. The trees began to wither, and the primitive beasts turned to dust as their life-force was sucked into the vortex of his evolving soul.
