Lin Feng led the two to the ritual site, where an altar had already been constructed. Various items were laid out, including a finger-sized piece of Dragon Bone.
"Boss, please place the deceased on the altar," Madame Gao said humbly.
With a thought, Lin Feng summoned the Shadow Khan. They carried Elektra's body and laid her down. Ever since he had taken her, Lin Feng had kept her body in the Shadow Realm, where time did not flow, keeping her perfectly preserved.
"Elektra!!!" Seeing his former lover, Daredevil's expression was a whirlwind of grief and hope. He took a step forward but quickly restrained himself, standing silently behind Lin Feng.
"Begin," Lin Feng said. He was curious to see the essence of this "Black Sky." If he could harness its power later... or perhaps see how it interacted with his Shadow Khan.
Madame Gao took a deep breath and stepped toward the altar.
"Ah-sdj-gn..." She began to chant an ancient, guttural incantation.
The altar began to vibrate. The Dragon Bone disintegrated into ash, its energy condensing into a visible mist that swirled in the air. Half of it surged into Elektra's body, while the other half acted as bait, pulsing to attract the gluttonous beast from beyond.
Vroom—vroom—vroom!
The silent space began to ripple and twist. A faint, sickeningly evil aura began to spread. At first, it seemed like an illusion, but as a crack tore open in the void, the stench of decay became thick and tangible.
"Boss, be careful!!" Daredevil cried out, shielding Lin Feng despite his own worry for Elektra.
Lin Feng watched silently. With the Power of the Divine Dragon in his veins, the essence of evil had nowhere to hide. To him, the decaying aura looked like a mass of writhing tentacles, testing the air of this world to see if it was safe to enter.
Once the "Beast" confirmed the coast was clear, it prepared to lunge.Buzz, buzz, buzz!
The rift in the void suddenly expanded, and a dark shadow lunged out. It dove straight into Elektra's body!
The movement was so sudden that neither Daredevil nor Madame Gao could see it clearly. Lin Feng, however, saw everything. That shadow was a mass of pure darkness, its essence strikingly similar to that of his Black Shadow Corps.
"Nngh..."
A soft groan escaped Elektra's lips. Everyone present was a formidable martial artist or superhuman, so the sound reached their ears clearly, eliciting very different reactions.

Determined to prevent Elektra's consciousness from being consumed, Lin Feng decided to intervene. He took a step forward, and the power of the Divine Dragon erupted from him!

A vast, surging tide of Dragon Qi poured out, manifesting into the shape of a celestial dragon that radiated supreme majesty. Under the pressure of this divine aura, Elektra's face contorted in agony. The evil energy within her began to thrash violently.
"Aaargh...!"
Elektra let out a piercing scream, appearing to be in immense pain. Daredevil's face filled with anxiety, but before he could rush forward, Madame Gao grabbed his arm and shook her head firmly.
"Phew..." Daredevil took a deep breath, forcing himself to stay calm.
Lin Feng continued to pour his Divine Dragon power into her. Under his precise control, the Dragon Qi entered Elektra's body, acting like a holy light scouring away filth. The negative energy belonging to the Black Sky was rapidly purified.
Elektra's distorted features gradually smoothed over into a peaceful expression. Within her, the Black Sky's energy was compressed into a tight ball, which Lin Feng then physically drew out of her body.
"So, this is the power of the Beast, the Black Sky?" Lin Feng mused, Toying with the black, jelly-like substance in his hand. He gave Daredevil a brief nod. "Elektra is fine now. Once she wakes up, I expect things in Hell's Kitchen to proceed without interference."
"...Yes, Boss!" Daredevil hesitated for a moment before nodding resolutely. He would ensure the mission was completed.
Madame Gao, meanwhile, felt a twinge of helplessness. Though they both served Lin Feng, it was clear that in their boss's eyes, her utility was significantly lower. To earn his true trust, she knew she had to do more.
Alexandra... as fellow 'Fingers' of the Hand, you shall serve as my stepping stones, Madame Gao thought darkly.
Lin Feng left shortly after. He didn't care about the schemes brewing in his subordinates' minds. As long as they didn't betray him, they could do as they pleased. To him, whether it was Daredevil or Madame Gao, they were merely tools.
He returned directly to his penthouse office.
"Black Shadow Corps!"
In the luxury office, Lin Feng summoned his shadows with a thought. He casually tossed the Black Sky energy toward them.
Buzz!
A Shadow Ninja offered no resistance as it swallowed the substance whole. Immediately, something unexpected happened. The ninja's form began to warp and twist as if it were mutating—tentacles sprouted, then two heads flickered into existence...
The scene was so grotesque that even Lin Feng raised an eyebrow.
"I hope I didn't just break it," he muttered to himself.
Just then, a system notification chimed in his ear.

Lin Feng was stunned. "What? An upgrade? The Black Shadow Corps can evolve?"
