Chapter 69 - Chapter 69: The Night of Extermination!

"Geto Suguru!!!"

Golden sunlight bathed the beach, warm rays spilling across the land.

Jogo stared fixedly at the figure before him, cursed energy surging without restraint. The clenched bones of his fist and the boiling flames atop his head spoke of his overwhelming rage.

On the shimmering sea, Dagon surfaced halfway, his round eyes also locked onto the person on the shore.

"Are you not going to say anything about Hanami's death?"

"Geto~"

Mahito lounged on a beach chair, hands behind his head, appearing carefree—but in truth, he was quietly mobilizing the soul-based cursed energy within him.

The salty sea breeze blew past, lifting the long hair of the fake Geto into the air.

Friendship among curses?

Kenjaku sneered inwardly, though his face displayed a false trace of sorrow.

"Hanami's death was merely an accident. I underestimated the strength of Zen'in Mirai."

Blood vessels bulged in Jogo's single eye as he stepped forward, grabbing the fake Geto by the collar!

"You think you can brush it off with just 'an accident'?!"

Leaning back slightly under the force, Kenjaku waved a hand as if brushing away heat, a cold glint flashing in his half-lidded eyes.

"It's too hot, Jogo."

"Bastard!"

Kenjaku's indifferent attitude only fueled Jogo's fury further.

"That's enough, Jogo. Now's not the time for internal conflict."

Calming himself, Mahito spoke softly:

"Whether it's the Prison Realm to seal Gojo Satoru, or awakening the King of Curses inside Itadori Yuji…"

"We still need Geto to help plan things."

"Mahito is right."

"If we want curses to walk the world openly as a new kind of humanity…"

Kenjaku gently patted Jogo's hand and smiled faintly.

"For now, you can't do without my help."

The suppressed rage churned within Jogo's chest. Hanami's death was like a needle embedded deep in his heart.

Emotion clashed with reason.

Slowly, Jogo released Geto's collar, his expression dark.

Yes…

If curses were to stand proudly in this world as humans, then Gojo Satoru and Zen'in Mirai were two insurmountable mountains.

Seal Gojo. Release Sukuna to kill Zen'in Mirai.

None of these plans could proceed without Geto Suguru.

…Sorry.

Night fell, stars dotting the sky.

From Tokyo to Kyoto, two humans and one curse arrived at exactly 9 PM.

One of the Three Great Families—the Kamo clan estate.

"Ju, old man—you two guard the entrance."

Dressed in a black robe patterned with red clouds, a short blade slung at his waist, White Zetsu spoke with confidence.

"I alone will wipe out the sorcerers inside. You just deal with any stragglers."

Naobito's eyes flickered with doubt.

Though the Kamo family had declined, they still had many semi–Grade 1 sorcerers—not to mention their privately maintained armed forces.

Even Naobito himself wouldn't dare charge in alone. Could White Zetsu really pull it off?

Zen'in Ju didn't hesitate like Naobito. He immediately followed the order.

"Clang!"

A barrier talisman was nailed at the estate gate. Forming a hand seal with one arm, Zen'in Ju chanted:

"From darkness, emerge.

Darker than darkness.

Purify all that is impure."

The already dim sky was swallowed by an even deeper layer of black.

This barrier allowed those inside to move freely, but blocked outside sorcerers from entering or observing.

The only exit was the main gate—guarded by Naobito and Zen'in Ju.

Naobito looked up at the veil, thoughts racing.

Mirai's temperament—everyone in the Zen'in clan had known it for ten years.

A break with Jujutsu High or Gojo Satoru had always been expected.

He just hadn't thought it would come so suddenly.

As for exterminating the Kamo clan, Naobito had no objections.

He was only worried that White Zetsu might mess things up again.

"Bai—"

The moment Naobito lowered his head, his eyes widened.

He had only looked away for a split second—yet White Zetsu had vanished?!

Impossible!

He had activated cursed energy perception the instant the barrier went up!

As Naobito looked around in confusion, Ju calmly took out his phone and sent a prepared message.

Far away in Shinjuku, Mirai put away his phone and stepped into the void.

Using White Zetsu as a coordinate, he arrived in Kyoto instantly.

Mirai trusted Unit One's abilities.

He had only come as a precaution—against Kenjaku secretly observing from the shadows.

Having just experienced betrayal from Jujutsu High, Mirai now treated that thousand-year-old schemer with proper caution.

Not informing White Zetsu beforehand was simply to avoid hurting his fragile pride.

At 9 PM, the vast estate was still lit by dim candlelight.

The sudden descent of darkness drew the attention of many sorcerers.

Inside the clan head's tower—

A hunched old steward hurried toward the master's room to report the anomaly.

By chance, he glanced down the corridor.

"Who—"

Before he could finish—

A blood-stained black blade pierced straight through his throat!

No time for shock. No time for disbelief.

As he collapsed, he met a pair of cold eyes—looking down at him as if he were nothing more than an insect.

A curse… without cursed energy?!

Warm blood splattered across the black robe. White Zetsu withdrew his blade and disappeared into the shadows.

"Who's there?!"

The door burst open.

Kamo Doran—the 24th head of the Kamo clan—stared at the steward lying in a pool of blood, his pupils trembling.

"Blood Manipulation: Binding!"

"Clang!!"

The blood scattered on the ground formed a hardened net, barely blocking the strike from behind!

Cold sweat slid down his forehead as Doran spun around.

Only those who awakened Blood Manipulation could become clan head—so he was extremely sensitive to the scent of blood.

He hadn't sensed the attack through cursed energy—

—but through the smell of blood closing in.

"Not bad, human."

Following Doran's gaze, White Zetsu grinned wickedly, tearing off his bloodstained robe.

His upper body was bare—pale skin stretched over well-defined, knotted muscles.

But the crescent-shaped stitched scars across his left shoulder and chest looked especially horrifying under the dim light.

From his appearance alone, one could tell he was no ordinary being.

Yet…

Doran stared at him, an indescribable unease rising in his chest.

No cursed energy. No detectable grade.

An enemy—no need for questions.

Doran lowered his stance, crimson markings spreading across his face.

"Blood Manipulation: Piercing Blood Barrage!"

The steward's spilled blood rose into the air, transforming into countless crimson spikes that burst outward like fireworks!

Hundreds—thousands—of blood blades shot in all directions across the estate!

"BOOM!!"

As the smoke cleared—

The corridor stood empty.

No corpse. No foreign scent of blood.

Not even a trace of cursed energy residue…

Heavenly Restriction…!!!

Doran suddenly recalled the monster from the Zen'in clan ten years ago—Fushiguro Toji!

"You lost focus, Clan Head."

"BOOM!!"

Wood splintered violently beneath his feet!

The flash of a blade—and Bai Jue's twisted grin—rapidly filled his vision!

"RUMBLE—!!"

The central tower of the Kamo estate collapsed completely.

The assembled sorcerer forces looked up in disbelief.

Under the dim candlelight, the Kamo clan head was flung into the air from the ruins—his body drenched in blood.

A black blade pierced straight through his heart—

an unmistakable, brutal sight.
