Tokyo Jujutsu High, Conference Room.
All enrolled students were present.
In addition, Mai and Noritoshi from Kyoto had been kept at Tokyo Jujutsu High by Utahime.
Mai's identity as a member of the Zenin clan, and Noritoshi being the Kamo clan's sole heir—both made them targets. This was to prevent the conservative faction from making a move on Mai, and out of fear that someone might completely silence Noritoshi.
After Zenin Mirai revealed his almost godlike strength, Kyoto no longer had the ability to protect the two of them.
Utahime had already secretly set out to investigate the traitor within the school, so she entrusted the two students to that "scumbag" Gojo.
"White Zetsu, talk."
Yaga crossed his arms, his expression grave.
"What exactly is that kid trying to do?"
The Three Great Clans had been wiped out.
He had defected from Jujutsu High and committed such a shocking act on the very same day.
In just one day, the entire jujutsu world had fallen into chaos—panic spreading everywhere.
This was even after the school had done its best to suppress the news of Gojo's battle with Mirai.
Just as Nanami had predicted, the fragile peace of the jujutsu world had already begun to collapse.
Leaning back against Panda's thick fur, White Zetsu shrugged.
"Stop asking. I seriously don't know."
"Didn't I already tell you where the kid's new base is? If you're so curious, go ask him yourselves."
Yaga frowned, remaining silent for a long moment.
If he had any other option, he wouldn't be asking this chatterbox.
The Star Religious Group branch in Shinjuku—ordinary sorcerers going there would just be walking to their deaths.
Even reaching Mirai was impossible; they wouldn't get past the Zenin sorcerers guarding the entrance.
Gojo had the strength—but if he went all out...
The civilians of the entire Shinjuku district would likely be killed in the aftermath.
And evacuating tens of thousands of people quietly?
Pure fantasy.
"I'll go!"
The Zenin sisters stood up at the same time.
The schemes against Jujutsu High, the massacre within the Kamo clan, and the devastating attack Mirai launched without regard for their lives before leaving—
They had far too many questions that needed answers.
Shoko exhaled a stream of smoke, glancing at the hesitant Yaga.
"Let them go. This is the best option."
Yaga nodded, then turned to Yuji Itadori.
The "important piece" Mirai had mentioned.
"Yuji."
Megumi and Nobara nudged the dazed boy beside them.
"Don't overthink it. Ijichi-senpai is already investigating."
"We'll have answers in a few days. Don't push yourself."
"Megumi… Nobara…"
Yuji looked at them with confused eyes.
"What date is it today? Has that volcano-head curse appeared yet?"
"We're not still inside Mirai-sensei's domain, right? These past few days… they were just illusions, weren't they?"
Meeting Junpei, killing humans by mistake…
The mastermind being tied to his own mother…
After hearing the information from White Zetsu, fragments of memories from his infancy occasionally surfaced, leaving him even more disoriented.
Nobara kicked him without hesitation.
"How long has it been already? What stupid things are you saying?"
Megumi glanced at her—sharp-tongued but soft-hearted—and said nothing.
Bathed in the mottled sunlight pouring through the floor-to-ceiling windows, Yuji stared at the sky.
"…Yeah. There's no blood-red moon here."
Smack! Smack!
Coming back to his senses, Yuji slapped his own cheeks hard.
"This is reality. I don't have time to be lost anymore!"
Whether it was killing Mahito or uncovering the truth about his mother—
Without strength, everything was just empty talk.
Yuji's resolve to grow stronger awakened once more.
"Illusions? Blood moon?"
Panda looked puzzled at Yuji's slightly swollen face.
"Wasn't Zenin Mirai's domain supposed to be a giant ancient tree?"
He still remembered what Maki had said half a year ago, when Gojo fought Mirai.
And Panda wasn't the only one confused—Maki and Mai also showed a flicker of surprise.
The terrifying scene at the Zenin estate years ago—the massive, sky-covering spectacle—was etched deeply into their memories.
The second-years who returned after the night of Jogo's attack were hearing about Mirai's innate domain for the first time.
During the exchange event, the domain clash had been obscured by a black shell, blocking their view.
A domain constructed from immense cursed energy shouldn't have such drastic differences.
A blood moon… an ancient tree?
Sensing something was wrong, Yaga solemnly recounted the information Ijichi had reported that night.
Still unable to make sense of it, everyone turned their eyes toward a certain relaxed "someone."
Meeting their gazes, White Zetsu smirked playfully.
"Who says…"
"A domain can only be one?"
Evening.
The glow of the setting sun painted the sky in breathtaking hues.
Passing through rows of pure white torii gates, the Zenin sisters arrived at the Star Religious Group's Shinjuku branch, bringing the "cursed womb" with them.
There were no armed guards blocking their way.
Only the elderly Naobito, with graying hair, and a kimono-clad woman stood at the entrance.
"Leave the item. You can go back."
The woman raised her eyes, expressionless.
"Unless you leave Jujutsu High, the clan head won't see you."
"…Mother."
The sisters' expressions turned complicated as they looked at her.
"The clan head is meeting a guest. You won't be able to see him."
Naobito took a swig of alcohol, reeking of liquor.
"Either leave Jujutsu High… or leave Japan."
"Whatever that kid is planning, he won't stop just because of you two."
Inside the corridor, deeper within the compound.
A stylish figure slowly pulled back the hood covering his face.
Across the tea table, Mirai spoke calmly:
"I didn't expect you'd dare come here yourself."
Kenjaku—his forehead marked with stitched scars—sat opposite him.
"I didn't expect you to withstand Gojo Satoru head-on either."
Mirai raised his eyes slightly, a hint of crimson flashing within them.
"I already warned you once. Seems you didn't take it seriously."
"Give me a break, old friend."
Kenjaku poured tea with a faintly aggrieved expression.
"With a walking time bomb like you around, how could I act carelessly?"
"I finally sealed the Six Eyes—if you suddenly killed me, wouldn't I be at a huge loss?"
Mirai took a sip of tea, indifferent.
"You've thought quite a bit about this."
Seeing no intention of attack, Kenjaku's heart sank slightly.
Risking everything to come here, he had two purposes:
To test his importance in Mirai's eyes—
And to confirm his guess about Mirai's ultimate goal.
"You have to think ahead. It's not easy setting up such an interesting plan."
"I've prepared for a thousand years—I don't want someone else reaping the benefits."
Mirai paused slightly.
"So? What did you come to say?"
Kenjaku narrowed his eyes and stated his purpose.
"A thousand years ago, I made binding vows with renowned sorcerers across Japan… you know about that, right?"
Mirai nodded.
"I've heard of it. Ishigori Ryu from the Mutsu region was one of them, wasn't he?"
Kenjaku's gaze darkened.
"Then, old friend… let's make another binding vow."
"Until we usher in the golden age of jujutsu once more…"
"Let's refrain from cursing each other. What do you say?"
Mirai replied coldly:
"Set a time. What if you just disappear?"
Seeing success within reach, Kenjaku smiled faintly.
"Four months."
Mirai changed the subject.
"The time for me to act against Gojo Satoru for you is approaching."
"October 31st—Halloween…"
"Make sure you're there."
