Chapter 2: The House
Liya : Look there is a house, look.
Elena: Do anyone is living in the middle of the forest.
Zyan: We don't have any other choice.We have to find out and stay there tonight.
None of them knew… that decision would change everything.
They knocked the door. And asked,
Leon: Is anyone here. We are stucked. Can you please open the door.
The door opened on its own.
CREEEEAK.
A cold wind rushed out, making Elana shiver.
Inside, the house looked abandoned—but not empty.
Dust covered everything, yet some things looked… recently moved.
Liya :Did you see that?( Asked Zyan while holding his hand)
A chair slightly rocked… as if someone had just left it.
Zyan :Stop imagining things. We are already scared. Don't scare us anymore.
Elena: I think there is no one so we can stay here for tonight.
Julian: I think so.
Diana: I am really so so scared. I think we should leave.
Julian : Where can we go now. We have to stay here. We don't have any choice. Don't worry I am with you.
Leon: Hey let's stay together don't spilt.
Diana : yeah I saw in movie that they spilt and no one came back.
Zyan: stop this we are not movie actors. We are just talk nothing else.
They decided to stay together in one room.
That night, no one slept.
Liya and Zyan, Elena and Leon. Julian and Diana.
Because they all heard it.
Footsteps.
Slow. Heavy. Coming from upstairs.
Liya : Did you hear that?
Zyan : Yeah. Hold me tight.
( Liya blushed)
Diana hold Julian tightly because she is so scared.
Julian: Don't worry it must be a cat or something like that.
Diana: But I don't think so.
At midnight, a loud bang woke them.
The door slammed shut.
Locked.
Zyan: Who did that?
Liya: What happens Zyan?( She was sleepy)
Zyan: Nothing. Sleep well. It just a dream.
Liya: Oo, ok. Good night. ( She slept)
Zyan: Good night.
He look at her face when she was sleeping and whispered.
Zyan : I will confess you my love to you when we will be at the top of the hills. I know you love me too. ( Smile sweetly)
Suddenly, a whisper filled the room.
"LEAVE…"
Zyan look at the door intensely.
Suddenly Liya grabbed Zyan's hand tightly.
Liya: I am so scared.
Zyan pulled her closer.
Zyan: I'm here. Don't worry. I'm always here for you.
In that terrifying moment, something unspoken passed between them.
Then—
A shadow moved across the wall.
But there was no one there.
And no one noticed.
Morning came. They are about you move from the house.
Elana: Keep this house as a landmark, ok.we couldn't find any garage or anyone for help we have to came here again.
Diana: Are you serious? Do you think we have to come again?
Elena: I don't know but if . And I think we lost and we are on a wrong direction.
Diana: Don't say like that.
They all went together to find out any one or any place or any hotel out there so they can get out of that easily. But the day falls still they couldn't find out anyone or anything to get out of there.
Diana : I think we are stucked here forever.
Julian: no we will find tomorrow. The night already fallen. We should go back to that house.
Diana: No I don't want to go there again. That is a creepy house.
Elena: We have no other choice then that.
Liya: Yes, exactly .I know it is difficult to stay there but we cannot do anything.
Julian: Yes Diana, understand that.
Diana: I want to go home. If we find out anyway to get out of here, we will go home no journey will happen. okay?
Liya : yeah .
Diana: For sure okay?
Liya : Yes , for sure.
Upstairs, they found a room filled with old photographs.
A family.
But in every photo… one face was scratched out.
Elena: Why would someone do that?.
Suddenly, Diana screamed.
On the wall, written in blood:
"YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE COME."
Diana: What is that? I want to go home right now. I don't want to stay here anymore.
Julian: Relax babe. I totally understand you but we don't have any other choice to stay here.
Diana: How could you say that easily. Can't you see that? Do you all want us to die.
Leon: No nothing will happened. I think someone had wrote this before.
Liya: I don't agree with you.
The temperature dropped instantly.
Behind them… footsteps again.
Zyan: Hey guys did you hear that?
Liya hugged Zyan so tightly. He hugged her back.
Zyan: Don't worry.
Elena hold Leon's hand.
And Diana tried to scream but Julian immediately kissed her so she could not scream.
The door slept so hard.
They all get to closer.
The food steps coming closer.But this time too closer.
