"Use my ability?" Erin quietly repeated.
"What? Can't use your ability, Pure scum?" Duke sneered.
She bit her lip, unsure what to do, or what to say. How could she even fake her ability now? She had the thought of placing ice in her dimensional storage before, and taking it out to 'prove' her original ability was still there, but it was still obvious that there was a shadow over the ice.
Nathan glanced at Duke, then to Erin, and sighed. "I hate to admit it, but it looks like you were right, Duke."
"But wait—" Erin blurted out, "How could I have faked my ability in the beginning?"
Nathan barely nodded, "Perhaps Pure had found out a way to temporarily inject their members with MC, just enough to infiltrate the school."
