Chapter 12 - The Girl who Left Me

The city lights flickered like broken promises.

Arman Khan stood by the glass window of his penthouse, silent.

Rain slowly traced lines down the glass… like memories he could never erase.

Success had finally bowed before him.

His digital empire ruled the search engines.

The world now knew his name—Hidden SEO.

But none of it mattered tonight.

Because she was back.

Not in his life…

But in his past.

Her name was Ayesha.

The girl who believed in him when he had nothing.

When all he had was a broken laptop… and impossible dreams.

She used to sit beside him in small cafés.

Listening.

Smiling.

Believing.

"You'll make it one day," she once said.

But she didn't stay long enough to see it.

She left.

Not because she stopped loving him…

But because she stopped believing in his dreams.

Arman closed his eyes.

That memory still burned.

It was a cold evening.

Another failure.

Another rejection.

His bank balance—almost zero.

His phone—full of unanswered hopes.

Ayesha stood in front of him.

Silent.

"I can't do this anymore, Arman," she said.

"Do what?" he asked quietly.

"Live in uncertainty. Dreams don't pay bills."

Her voice was soft…

But it destroyed everything.

"I'm building something big," he tried.

"You're building illusions," she replied.

And then…

She walked away.

No drama.

No tears.

Just silence.

And distance.

Back to the present.

Arman opened his eyes.

His phone vibrated.

A message.

Unknown number.

"I saw your success… I always knew you could do it."

No name.

But he knew.

Ayesha.

A faint smile appeared on his face.

Cold.

Distant.

Different.

He typed slowly.

"You knew I could…

But you didn't stay to see it."

He looked at the screen.

Paused.

Then locked the phone.

Some people don't deserve a second chance.

They exist…

To become the reason you rise.

Outside, the rain stopped.

Inside, Arman Khan became unstoppable.

Not because he won.

But because he survived.
