Marcus assessed the damage quickly. Tobin was in bad shape—deep wounds across his back, blood loss severe. His breathing was shallow, rattling.
But not dead yet.
"Tobin." Marcus knelt beside the Warden, already reaching into his inventory. A Big HP Potion materialized in his hand. "Drink this."
Tobin's eyes cracked open, unfocused. "Save it… for someone who can still fight…"
"You can still fight." Marcus's tone left no room for argument. "Drink it."
He helped Tobin sit up enough to swallow the potion. The liquid glowed faintly as it went down.
The effect was immediate.
Wounds closed with visible speed. Color returned to the Warden's face. The rattling breath smoothed out. Not perfect—some scars remained, and Tobin still winced when he moved—but stable.
Alive.
