Seventeen-year-old Zeph Chrono discovers a strange, glowing, water-damaged book washed ashore on his way home from school. The book was created by a godlike entity simply known as “The white figure,” the overseer of a mysterious trial.

After a series of world-altering events, Zeph manages to make it home, but when he wakes up, he realizes something terrifying.

Time hasn't moved forward.

Instead, he's forced to relive the exact same day.

Trapped in a time loop, Zeph must complete a specific challenge each day to progress to the next. With seven increasingly difficult challenges standing between him and freedom, failure isn't the end of the road, but it could cost him everything.

Zeph is a relatively slender guy for his age, but he's well built. He has curly black hair, dark slender eyes, with two moles underneath. He has small pink lips, and a scar behind his ear he got when he was younger when falling. Zeph was relatively short before getting an exponential growth spurt at 16.


Zeph prefers being called "Chrono" as he thinks it's way more unique than Zeph, though only his mother calls him Chrono. 


Zeph used to play football/soccer in middle school, though he never managed to break into the first team. His habit of "scanning" is because of football, since he used to play as a CAM (Central Attacking Midfielder). This position requires good vision and spatial awareness.

Dislikes: Crowded areas, enemies, overpricing, pork, attention (he's getting used to it nowadays)


Talia is around average weight for her age. She has long blonde hair and a white headband. She will occasionally tie her hair with a green ribbon. She has "sparkling" green eyes. Her skin is extremely smooth and spotless. 


Due to her outgoing and friendly personality, she has a wide network of connections. This allowed her to get information on Zeph. 


Likes: Sweets, music, social gatherings, dogs, skincare


Dislikes: Confrontation, sour food, small areas, long lines


Iris is around average weight for her age. She has long violet hair. but she doesn't let her hair out. Rather, she has her hair in a low chignon bun style with a golden hairpin. She has red, slender eyes and a pricing gaze. She wears circular violet glasses. She has no visible scars or cuts on her skin. 


Iris is a member of the Aurora family, known for managing cargo operations in the city of Aetherreach. Though now regarded as a prodigy by both her peers and teachers, Iris wasn't born gifted, she earned that title through relentless hard work and determination.
