"What exactly is going on inside your head every day?"
Wang Chen rubbed his temples, completely speechless at Liu Qiang's ridiculous imagination.
But before anyone could continue arguing, something strange began to happen behind him.
A series of futuristic mechanical portals suddenly appeared in the air.
One after another.
Cold metallic rings rotated slowly, releasing a faint humming sound. On the other side of the portals was not a normal space. It looked like a chaotic void filled with flowing streams of data, as if countless codes were moving endlessly inside.
Then the sound of grinding metal echoed through the cave.
Clank.
Clank.
From within the portals, massive mechanical creatures began crawling out.
Mechanical worker ants.
Mechanical worker bees.
Their steel bodies reflected a cold silver glow under the dim cave light. Their limbs moved with precise mechanical rhythm, emitting the faint buzz of machines.
These creatures had no pain receptors.
No hesitation.
After being taken over by the Infiltrator system, they possessed only one function.
Absolute obedience to Wang Chen.
Within moments, the cave floor was completely filled with mechanical life.
Two hundred mechanical ants and bees crawled out of the portals.
The sight alone was overwhelming.
Liu Qiang's jaw dropped instantly.
"Holy crap… what the hell are those things?"
His eyes nearly popped out of their sockets.
Just how many abilities did Wang Chen still have that he had never shown before?
They were both mutated classes.
So why was the difference between them this terrifying?
The two girls were equally shocked.
"Are… are those all your summons?" one of them asked in disbelief.
It was their first time seeing a mutated mechanic capable of controlling so many units.
And it was even more unbelievable because Wang Chen was only around level ten.
Yet he had just summoned more than two hundred creatures in a single breath.
Even the level twenty five Goblin High Priest in the distance had only managed to summon about forty enhanced goblins.
Was Wang Chen really just a mutated mechanic?
The same question appeared once again in the minds of the three spectators.
Meanwhile, the Goblin High Priest froze for a brief moment.
Clearly, it had not expected this.
Wang Chen calmly raised his hand and pointed forward.
"Attack."
The command was simple.
Two hundred mechanical ants and bees surged forward like a silver tide.
They collided with the goblin army instantly.
Metal against flesh.
Claws against blades.
Even though the goblins had the advantage in level, they simply could not withstand the overwhelming numbers.
Within minutes, the goblin formation collapsed.
One by one, the enhanced goblins were pushed back.
"My god… this is insane," Liu Qiang whispered.
The three of them stared with shining eyes.
At that moment Wang Chen released several dozen Infiltrators.
Silver mechanical spider-like creatures skittered across the ground toward the goblins.
Their purpose was simple.
Invasion.
However, these goblins possessed relatively high intelligence and levels. Most of the infiltration attempts failed.
After the battle ended, only about a dozen enhanced goblins were successfully taken over.
The rest were either killed or pinned down by swarms of mechanical ants and bees, forced to the ground as they roared and struggled uselessly.
On Wang Chen's side, the losses were minimal.
Only about twenty mechanical ants and bees had been destroyed.
But considering he had gained more than ten level twenty goblin units under his control, the exchange was more than worth it.
Soon the battlefield fell silent.
Scattered across the ground were heavily wounded goblins barely clinging to life.
And standing alone in the center of the cave was the Goblin High Priest.
Stunned.
Completely stunned.
It had spent years hiding in this cave.
Years cultivating its power.
Years building its army.
All for one purpose.
To dominate others.
To crush weaker beings with absolute superiority.
Yet now, it had encountered someone even better at pretending to be weak.
Someone who crushed it effortlessly.
The chain of shocking reversals left Liu Qiang and the two girls questioning reality.
Especially Liu Qiang.
He kept muttering to himself.
"We're both mutated classes… so why is the gap between Brother Chen and me this huge?"
"He became an all-powerful hexagon warrior…"
"And I became… the clown cheering for the Goblin High Priest."
But unlike the others, Liu Ningning did not relax.
Instead she frowned.
"Wang Chen, be careful," she warned.
"The Goblin High Priest hasn't been dealt with yet."
Her words snapped the others back to reality.
That's right.
The High Priest was still alive.
And that was the real boss.
Wang Chen immediately commanded several mechanical ants and bees to move forward.
"ROAR!"
The Goblin High Priest suddenly swung its bone staff.
Boom.
Several sinister green fireballs shot forward.
The explosions blasted the mechanical units backward.
Their metallic bodies were scorched black instantly.
Seeing this, Wang Chen frowned slightly.
So it was true.
Once enemies reached level twenty and above, the gap became a completely different world.
He immediately ordered the remaining mechanical units to retreat.
"That magic is terrifying…"
Cold sweat appeared on Liu Qiang and the girls' foreheads.
"Be careful, Wang Chen!"
They looked at him nervously.
At that distance, he might be blown to pieces by those spells before even getting close.
Suddenly, the Goblin High Priest let out a furious roar.
Layers of red magic circles appeared around its body.
Powerful magical energy began gathering rapidly.
An oppressive pressure spread throughout the cave.
Everyone felt their hearts tighten.
Liu Qiang's face turned pale.
"Something's wrong…"
And then the Goblin High Priest slowly raised its bone staff toward the sky.
The magic circles began spinning faster.
The air trembled.
And Wang Chen finally narrowed his eyes.
Because he suddenly realized something.
The High Priest… was not trying to fight.
It was preparing to summon something far worse.
