Chapter 10 - Weapon Training -2

After a long and exhausting day of training, Charlie Stone finally spoke,

"You all trained hard today. That's enough. Go and rest."

A wave of relief passed through the students.

Just then, a servant approached them.

"Follow me," he said. "I will show you where to keep your weapons."

The group followed him through a quiet corridor until they reached a large grey room.

The door opened.

Inside, eight glass boxes stood in a straight line, each faintly glowing.

"Place your weapons in the box with your name," the servant instructed.

Everyone stepped forward.

But David frowned.

"Why do we have to leave them here?" he asked.

"Why can't we keep them with us?"

The servant looked at them seriously.

"Your weapons hold more energy than you can control right now," he said.

"If something goes wrong, it could harm you… or others."

Silence fell.

"For now… keep them here."

One by one, they placed their weapons inside.

Daniel hesitated for a moment before placing Thorn inside.

For a second… it felt like the weapon didn't want to leave

"Now follow me," the servant said.

They were taken to a large building.

"Right side rooms are for girls. Left side for boys."

Everyone separated.

David dropped onto his bed.

"That training was exhausting…"

Daniel sat beside him.

"It was okay… but controlling Thorn is still really hard."

Felix leaned against the wall.

"At least yours moves. Mine just feels heavy."

Just then, Noah walked in and joined them.

"How was everyone's training?" he asked calmly.

David smirked.

"Watch this."

He raised his hand and focused.

The four blades of Fang trembled slightly… then lifted just a little.

Daniel's eyes widened.

"You can already move them?"

David grinned.

"Not perfectly… but yeah."

Felix raised his eyebrows.

"That's impressive."

Noah nodded.

"You have good control… but you still lack stability."

David sighed. "Yeah…"

Daniel smiled slightly.

Mary sat down, looking tired.

Lily looked at her and asked,

"How was your training, Mary?"

Mary gave a small smile.

"It was good… but I still don't know how to properly use the bow."

Zoya spoke calmly,

"You will learn. It suits you."

Lucy nodded.

"Your focus is already strong."

Mary looked at her hands.

"I just need control…"

Lily sighed.

"I'm tired of rotating my weapon again and again."

Zoya replied,

"Every weapon has its own difficulty."

Mary smiled.

"We just have to get used to it."

Soon, everyone fell asleep.

"Line up!"

Like i told yesterday your weapon is your friend

At 5 a.m., Charlie Stone stood before them.

Everyone stood straight.

Stone moved from one student to another, guiding them.

He stopped near Zoya.

"Control your weapon with environment. Try with water."

Then he turned to Lucy.

"Your blade can create fire. Don't depend on surroundings."

Everyone focused.

The ground was silent.

Then suddenly—

"WAIT!"

David's voice echoed.

Everyone turned.

"I… I think I got it…"

He raised his hand.

For a moment—nothing.

Then—

The four blades of Fang trembled…

And lifted into the air.

Floating.

Moving.

Gasps spread.

"He did it…" Felix whispered.

Mary's eyes widened.

Daniel stared in shock.

David smiled proudly.

"I'm controlling it…"

The blades circled slightly before dropping.

Charlie Stone stepped forward.

"Good," he said.

"But don't get overconfident."

Inspired, Mary stepped forward.

"I can do this…"

She pulled her bowstring.

A glowing arrow formed.

She aimed—

And released.

Thud.

The arrow hit the target.

Not perfect… but close.

"…I did it?" she whispered.

Lily smiled.

"That was good!"

Zoya nodded.

"You're improving."

Mary smiled softly.

Daniel stood apart.

"Move…" he whispered.

Nothing.

Then suddenly—

The Thorn moved violently.

It twisted around his arm.

"Ah—!"

Everyone turned.

But Daniel didn't drop it.

Instead—

He closed his eyes.

That voice returned…

"I feel your pain…"

His breathing slowed.

"I'm not fighting you…"

"I'm understanding you…"

The Thorn slowly calmed.

The movement stopped.

Charlie Stone watched carefully.

"…Good.

Days turned into weeks.
