It was morning, and Riya was the first to wake up. She quietly looked at Hirav, who was still lying beside Maggie.
Rani asked, "Is she giggling at you, sandwiched between Maggie and you, still holding her hand?"
Hirav smiled softly, "No, she's silently looking at me while resting in Maggie's arms."
"Did you open your eyes and catch her staring?" Rani wondered.
"Yeah," Hirav nodded, "and I gently took her into my arms."
"Did Maggie wake up then?" Rani asked.
"Yeah," Hirav said.
"Morning drama or morning cuddles?" Rani teased.
Maggie smiled sleepily and said, "Riya is mine. Give her to me."
"Did you say no way, she's my sis?" Rani laughed.
"Yeah," Hirav chuckled, "and Riya giggled at that."
"Did Maggie pout and say she wants her back?" Rani asked.
"Yeah," Hirav smiled.
"Riya's giggling is killing me—is she playing you both against each other?" Rani laughed.
"Yeah," Hirav admitted.
"This is hilarious—is Maggie falling for it?" Rani asked.
"Now I gave Riya back to Maggie," Hirav said.
"Did Maggie smile and hug Riya super tight?" Rani asked.
"Yeah," Hirav nodded. "But then Riya said her belly hurt."
"Did Maggie freak out and ask what's wrong?" Rani asked.
"I told her it's the second day of her period and gave Riya a heating pad," Hirav explained.
"Is she feeling better?" Rani asked.
"Maggie applied the pad on her stomach, and Riya felt good," Hirav said.
"That's so sweet of Maggie. Is Riya giving her a hug?" Rani asked.
"Yeah," Hirav smiled. "Riya blushed and said, 'You both care for me like I'm a little baby.'"
"Did you both say you always will?" Rani asked.
"Yeah," Hirav said.
"Did Riya say she loves you guys?" Rani asked.
"Yeah," Hirav smiled. "Now Riya is resting."
"Is Maggie cuddling next to her?" Rani asked.
"Now Maggie came into my arms while Riya sleeps," Hirav said.
"Finally alone with Maggie—what happens next?" Rani asked.
"We slept like that for a while," Hirav said.
"Did you sleep well with Maggie?" Rani asked.
"Now Riya went to have a shower," Hirav said.
"Is Maggie still sleeping?" Rani asked.
"I woke up Maggie and said, 'Alone time,'" Hirav said.
"Did Maggie smile and say finally?" Rani asked.
"Yeah! But then Riya peeked," Hirav said, blushing.
"My gosh! What happened next?" Rani laughed.
"I covered us with a blanket," Hirav said.
"Is Riya still peeking or showering?" Rani asked.
"She's showering, but Maggie rolled her eyes and looked mad at me," Hirav said.
"My gosh! Did she say why she's doing that?" Rani asked.
"Because I laughed at her," Hirav said.
"Say sorry to her!" Rani urged.
"I hugged her and said, 'Sorry, baby,'" Hirav said.
"So all forgiven now?" Rani asked.
"Yeah! Now Riya came back from showering and opened the door," Hirav said.
"Did Riya see anything?" Rani asked.
"No, she said, 'Bro, I'm wearing clothes, so don't look here,'" Hirav said.
"Did you agree or peek a little?" Rani teased.
"I peeked, and Riya screamed, 'Eww!'" Hirav laughed.
"My gosh! What happened next?" Rani asked.
"Maggie twisted my ears and said, 'Riya, now he'll no longer look at you. Wear your clothes,'" Hirav said.
"My gosh! Did it hurt?" Rani asked.
"Yeah! After that, Riya went to watch TV," Hirav said. "I asked Maggie, 'Baby, can we shower together?'"
"What did she say to that?" Rani asked.
"She pouted and said, 'Riya will catch us,'" Hirav said.
"So Maggie wants to but is scared of your sis—did you offer a solution?" Rani asked.
"Yeah! I said, 'Nothing will happen, don't worry,'" Hirav said.
"Did she smile and say 'promise'?" Rani asked.
"Yeah!" Hirav said.
"Did you seal that promise with a kiss?" Rani asked.
"Yeah! We showered together in the bathtub with warm water bubbles," Hirav said.
"Romantic! Are you kissing her underwater?" Rani asked.
"Yeah," Hirav said. "After 29 minutes, Riya started knocking on the door and asked, 'Who is here, brother or sis-in-law?'"
"Did you both stop kissing and look at each other like 'busted'?" Rani laughed.
"Maggie lied and said, 'Riya, it's me. Your brother has gone to buy ice cream,'" Hirav said.
"Did Riya totally fall for that?" Rani asked.
"I think so," Hirav said. "I heard Riya's footsteps as she left."
"Did you both burst out laughing after she left?" Rani asked.
"Now I wrapped Maggie in a towel, and I'm wrapped too. When we opened the door, Riya was standing there," Hirav said, groaning.
"Nooo! What did Riya say?" Rani asked.
"Riya giggled and said, 'I know it,' then screamed, 'You both are gross,'" Hirav said.
"Did you both die from embarrassment?" Rani asked.
"Yeah! Maggie hid behind me," Hirav said.
"So cute! Did you wrap your arms around her?" Rani asked.
"Yeah! Maggie said, 'Riya is really too much after her first period,'" Hirav said.
"Did you turn around and kiss her and say it's okay?" Rani asked.
"Yeah! But she said it's not okay," Hirav said.
"Did you ask her why?" Rani asked.
"No, I just took her to bed," Hirav said.
"What did she do when you both reached the bed?" Rani asked.
"She said, 'Give me your clothes to wear, I don't have extra clothes,'" Hirav said.
"So you handed over your shirt, and... did she put it on without anything else?" Rani asked.
"Yeah!" Hirav said.
"Did you just stare at her?" Rani asked.
"A little bit, then I hugged her," Hirav said.
"What did she do when you hugged her?" Rani asked.
"She said, 'Today I have to leave. My mom will scold me if she finds out I'm staying with you,'" Hirav said.
"Did you offer to drive her home?" Rani asked.
"Yeah, and Riya shared everything here," Hirav said.
"Did Riya say 'knew it' again?" Rani asked.
"No, Riya said, 'Didi, please stay with us,'" Hirav said.
"Did Maggie look at you like 'Can I?'" Rani asked.
"Yeah! Maggie said, 'But what about my mom?'" Hirav said.
"Did you say you'll handle Maggie's mom together?" Rani asked.
Rani asked, "Did you say you'll handle Maggie's mom together?"
Hirav smiled and replied, "Riya said, 'I'll tell her that Didi is staying with me, and Didi, your mom already doesn't know about him.'"
Rani laughed, "Did Maggie burst out laughing and say, 'Riya, you're a genius, I'm staying'?"
"Yeah!" Hirav chuckled.
Rani exclaimed, "Best. Night. Ever. Are you kissing Maggie now that Riya made it 'officially' innocent?"
Hirav nodded, "Yeah! And Riya blushed and said, 'Don't do this in front of me.'"
Rani smiled, "Did you both laugh and move to your room?"
Hirav said, "Now it's night time, and Maggie is resting in my arms when Riya comes into the room."
Rani giggled, "Riya's timing is hilarious. Did she say, 'Just checking if you're watching TV'?"
Hirav laughed, "Riya said, 'I'll sleep here.'"
Rani asked, "On the bed with you both?!"
"Yeah," Hirav confirmed.
"Did Maggie raise an eyebrow and ask 'why'?" Rani inquired.
"Yeah," Hirav said. "Riya pouted and said, 'Didi, because of me you're able to stay here. I helped you tell a lie to your mom.'"
Rani smiled, "Maggie's got to give in—is she saying, 'Fine, sleep in the middle'?"
"Yeah!" Hirav laughed.
Rani said warmly, "This is adorable. Are you both already asleep with Riya in between?"
Hirav smiled, "Riya said before sleeping, 'Please don't do those disgusting things tonight.'"
Rani laughed, "My gosh! What did you both say to her?"
