The soldier couldn't move.
His heart was pounding so hard…It felt like it would explode.

The giant's glowing eyes didn't blink.
They were locked onto him…As if it had been searching for him all along.
The other soldiers stepped back slowly, confused and terrified.
"Why isn't it attacking…?""What does it want from him?!"
The commander shouted:"Soldier! Move! NOW!"
But his body refused to listen.
The giant slowly lowered its hand…Closer… closer…
Until it stopped right above the soldier's head.
Everyone held their breath.
Then suddenly—
A blinding light exploded from the giant's hand.

The soldier screamed as the light surrounded him completely.
The ground cracked beneath his feet.
The wind went wild.

Silence.
The light disappeared.
The giant was gone.
Vanished… like it was never there.

Not moving.
"Hey…? Answer me!" one of them shouted.
No response.
The commander approached slowly… carefully…
"Soldier… report your status."
A few seconds passed…

The soldier lifted his head.
His eyes…
Were glowing.
The same light…
As the giant.
