Two thousand years ago right after the death of the demon king by the hands of the Hero, the spirit mother went back to the spirit realm.
But the hero just stayed right in front of the demon king's throne, sword in sheath.
Then Laya spoke in an emotionless tone, which she said.
[Laya]: "how long are you going to continue staring at his throne, he's gone, and the promise you made to him, your not actually going to achieve it because humans don't have the capacity to reincarnate like every other race, humans are bound by the cycle of rebirth."
Gaos then turns to her and grins a bit.
[Gaos]: "you are pretty arrogant for the Goddess of creation, although every race hated Zalos you never showed the capacity to even care, I know you're capable of emotions but you just don't show it."
[Laya]: "your sword is bro-"
[Gaos]: "Don't try to change the topic Goddess. I want an answer from you, why don't you show your emotions, is it because you're scared that your authority as the Goddess of Creation might weaken."
Gaos says with a mocking tone
Laya for the first time shows her annoyance and anger at Gaos's comment.
[Laya]: "you better watch that mouth of yours before I shut it for you, after all I was the one who Blessed your holy sword with the power to permanently kill the Demon King."
At laya's words, Gaos is shocked, then goes back to being composed and with a confident mocking tone says.
[Gaos]: "although you're right, but do you really think that will actually kill him permanently, if so then think again, he will come back….no my friend will come back, after all he isn't called the strongest in history for nothing."
Laya in a slightly amused tone says
[Laya]: "your friend? That's just the promise you made to him which will never be fulfilled."
Suddenly Gaos is pinned to ground barely able to stand up
[Gaos]: "Gravity magic huh, but at this level it could crush metal into nothingness."
Before Gaos could make a slow movement towards his sword it suddenly flew out from his sheathe into Laya's hand
[Laya]: "Look at this sword, by complying with Zalos and stabbing him through his core. Zalos's core is indestructible, nothing is able to destroy it, therefore is why the Moon of Creation allowed me to Bless this sword to destroy the Indestructible."
She continued on
[Laya]: "And the sword itself is Indestructible, so nothing in this entire world can destroy this sword, not even I can destroy it, the only possible way for it to be destroyed is by piercing an object also capable of destroying the indestructible. Which would be none other than Zalos's core."
Gaos just grins at her explanation
[Laya]: "What exactly is funny Gaos."
[Gaos]: "Holy Sword Divine Art, Core Destroyer"
Suddenly the sword pierces the Goddesses core making her cough up blood, making her drop the sword and makes the gravity magic completely go away.
[Gaos]: "Come Holy Sword, Zen aid me once again"
As soon as He utters those words the holy sword immediately appears in his hands. Laya is immediately shocked and surprised.
[Laya]: "I-Immpossible…..it was broken just a second ago due to Zalo's core, and once something is damaged by his core it can't be restored."
Gaos Grinned
[Gaos]: "It's pretty simple, although I am the only person in the world unable to expel magic from my body, I have a unique attribute which automatically restores any weapon that I use that is damaged, even if it was damaged by something that can't be reversed."
Laya's figure began to fade but before she could fully fade away she cast Reincarnation Magic on herself.
[Gaos]: "Casting Reincarnation magic on yourself huh? Do you really plan on reincarnating along with Zalos two millennia later."
He continued
[Gaos]: "its truly a shame, afterall once you reincarnate I won't have anyone to talk to since the spirit mother went into deep slumber, which will be impossible to predict when she will awaken but my guess is in two thousand years, the same era when the demon king and yourself will be reborn."
Laya after hearing the news says in a soft voice.
[Laya]: "I see, it seems everyone has made their final decision on what to do until he comes back, but what about your final decision Gaos, what will it be."
Gaos simply raises his sword not at laya, but himself.
[Laya]: "Wait…what are you doing, piercing yourself with the sword will only result in your soul getting sucked in and trapped in the Holy Sword."
With a solemn tone Gaos says
[Gaos]: "You're right, but don't worry I won't let my soul get sucked into the sword and trapped in there for all eternity."
[Gaos]: "Now…Holy Sword Divine Art….. Anam Cara"
As he mutters those words he stabs himself in the chest with the Holy Sword Zen a bright light envelops the entire room, Gaos disappearing leaving the holy sword where he was standing.
Laya cancels the reincarnation spell, gets up and goes to the holy sword picking it up.
[Laya]: "So this is your final choice Gaos, I commend you for that but what happens if you aren't able to pull it off."
She continued.
[Laya]: "for now, I guess I will continue to watch over this world…..once Zalos is reincarnated the destruction of the Demon King will commence. Isn't that right my beautiful Dark Blue Moon."
She looks up toward the dark blue moon that is shining over and watching creation, watching everything and everyone throughout the Past and Future.
[???]: "Indeed Laya The Demon King is a Threat to the world that I so dear hold to my heart, once he reincarnates Destroy him."
